Are You Ready? Demonstrators Plan Global Protest for Oct. 15
After scattered popular demonstrations around the world, protesters are planning the next step: This time, it’s a global movement for change, set to kick off Saturday, Oct. 15.
But what exactly is “United for Global Change”? Its exact goals are a little vague, though uprising seems to be the key:
“Intolerable situation — corrupt system — global outrage. Tunisia, Egypt, Spain, Greece, Chile, Israel, India, USA. It’s time for us to unite. It’s time for them to listen. People of the world, rise up!” a video for the movement says.
From their website, available in 18 different languages:
From America to Asia, from Africa to Europe, people are rising up to claim their rights and demand a true democracy. Now it is time for all of us to join in a global non violent protest.
The ruling powers work for the benefit of just a few, ignoring the will of the vast majority and the human and environmental price we all have to pay. This intolerable situation must end.
United in one voice, we will let politicians, and the financial elites they serve, know it is up to us, the people, to decide our future. We are not goods in the hands of politicians and bankers who do not represent us.
On October 15th, we will meet on the streets to initiate the global change we want. We will peacefully demonstrate, talk and organize until we make it happen.
It’s time for us to unite. It’s time for them to listen.
As of Friday morning, there were 432 “reports” of different events in the works, heavily concentrated in Europe, the U.S. and parts of South America. There’s also a “global virtual assembly” planned for Oct. 8 and 9 to plan.
As for who is behind the movement, that’s difficult to ascertain. A “who are you” section on the site doesn’t answer that question, instead asking visitors who they are and directing them to take charge of the event as if they themselves were the organizer.
October 15th the world will be under our influence. It will become whatever we want. So, who are you?
According to the group’s Facebook event page, there are 6,471 “attending” so far — kind of a long way to go before next Saturday.

How can Geraldo Rivera – a highly respected journalist, assert with a straight face that it is delusional to believe that the protests in New York and elsewhere are well organized, backed by powerful and extremely well financed individuals and groups, and have a unified global agenda? How can a supposedly competent reporter (like Mr. Rivera) say such a nonsensical thing when you can easily find headlines and articles like those below all over the net in probably less than a minute…

Here’s what he’s not telling you. that figure DOES NOT include the cost for the two wars Bush started, or the tex cuts that weren’t paid for, or the pharma deal – none of it reflected in that $160 billion figure you so rapturously cling to. Add up the real costs and the deficit is $1.3 trilion

Italy was downgraded 3 notches this week, Spain was downgraded today as well. There is a delay in the planned bail out of Greek debt, A large French bank just folded this week.
Germany is officially rumored to be printing new Deutchmarks as fast as they can. China has been having difficulty creating the hundreds of thousands of jobs each month they need just to keep up with their population coming of age, demand for their products is down.
Texas has lost about 80% of the wheat crop, similar to the Russian failure last year. Floods wiped out a lot of the corn belt planting in the spring.
The comittee opinion on the Palestinian state issue going forward for a vote in the UN is supposed to be announced on October 18, publicly the WH has said they will veto it. Iran is sending a ship to dock off the coast of Cuba. Turkey has “warned” the U.S. not to interfere or risk having the resupply lines to the troops cut off.

This is a tangled web they weave, but they underestimated us. You can be sure of one thing. When ever we advance in any way they have a prepared a backup plan to stop us. When the wicked are faced with Christ and choose not to follow, Social Justice prevails and death becomes them. Think about what that says. In the millennial kingdom we have universal world peace for a thousand years, but it’s because Jesus Christ rules the nations with a rod of iron, that means by force. So either people submit to the Lord from their heart or they will be forcibly subdued. That’s basically the options, and that’s how you have peace. It may not sound like a pretty picture, it’s not sentimental for sure, but the reason it’s so fierce, so harsh sounding is because we live in a fallen world. We live in an abnormal universe, we live in an abnormal society, we are all sinners. So if it sounds harsh whose fault is that? It’s not Gods. We are the ones who fell.
