Occupy London Protesters Allegedly Use St. Paul’s Cathedral Carpet as ‘Latrine’

Just when the health and hygiene issues surrounding Occupy protests couldn’t get any more repugnant, reports surfaced Monday revealing that even historic landmarks and sacred places of worship like St. Paul’s Cathedral in London are not safe from defiling. The Daily Mail reports that St. Paul’s staff have been handed the unpleasant task of cleaning human waste from inside the cathedral, particularly on the carpet inside the church near its West steps — just yards away from the protests.

One clergyman was furious over the holy building being used ‘as a latrine’ said, “This is desecration of a very holy place. it hurts me and it hurts the staff.”

The Mail adds:

St Paul’s has blamed ‘hangers on’ and not protesters at the tented camp which closed one of London’s most iconic attractions for a number of days last month.

Cathedral spokesman, The Rev Rob Marshall, told the Sunday Times: ‘We are aware of these kind of problems and raising them in our daily talks with camp members who we are not presuming at all are responsible.

The cathedral was shut on health and safety grounds, but reopened on October 27.

Meanwhile, vandals have already spray-painted “666″ on one of the cathedral’s walls. Perhaps those responsible believe it is easier to disrespect a church by defecating on its carpet than to engage in a substantive dialogue about the political and economic issues they claim is motivation for their actions.

These people are the lowest class level in almost all societies and our current administration and their leader supports them, but then , they are his voter base and ” Birds of a feather tend to always flock together” What is our nation and the world coming too? God help us. Maybe they should be put in prison while other cons urinate and defecate on their beds, clothes,etc, these selfish dirty misguided slobs, deserve the worst.

  And they have Hollywood,msnbc,abc,cbs,cnn,the New York Times,most new media outlets,liberal democrats including Pelosi,Biden and Obama supporting them. What does that say about the liberal democrat politicians they would pander to Satan for a vote. And their alligence with OWS is just a recent example they have pandered to socialist,communist,marxist,the cracka baby killin new black panthers,radical islamist like farrakahn no one should suprised at the depths they’re willing to go to get votes.

  Remember what Mrs Obama declared about the need to change our traditions and history? This is, in the case of London, one of the prime examples of her words being fulfilled…many hold the churches history and participation as a tradition and foundation of how they got to where we are today, and so the protesters know they need to make a mockery of it.

What the heck is wrong with these brain dead lunatics!!!? Even the dogs are housetrained!! These beasts are urinating and defecating on everything they are near! They were going in public where they sleep/eat, on residential doorsteps, on cop cars, and now on church carpets! If it was the same individual I’d say they need medical treatment but I know they need mental help.

Animals sounds pretty good to me. Except I LIKE animals.

The so-called protest folks want respect but don’t give it and don’t stop their own from doing this kind of thing.

Their messages means nothing.

This isn’t about racism, politics or social justice. It’s about where the Baby Boomer generation led us as a collective group.

You want to see something disturbing to some older folks. This video expresses opinion on how baby boomers lost collective reasoning and sold their countries interest for oil, greed and entitlements. Left-wing or right-wing, a finger pointing bunch, baby boomers are a selfish generation.

it’s our duty as responsible adults to inform as many people as we can, that these people are anti-freedom, anti-capitalism, and WANT to see the fall of the United States of American.

They are a hateful and Godless people. Yes, there is unequal wealth around the Globe. Anywhere were Socialism or Communism is prevalent, you’ll find dictators who steal everything for theirselves, while leaving everyone else destitute.

The richest man in the entire World is a Mexican National who lives in Mexico City. Since the Progressives/Democrats have come into power with the Obama Administration we have been moving towards a Socialist/Communism society.

We the People, need to correct the “error” of the election of Barack Obama. He is destroying our Nation from within. Barack Obama doesn’t believe in Capitalism. He’s a Socialist at best, a Communist at worst. If he had been born in Africa, he would have been a tin-pot dictator.

Vote Republican in 2012!

During the Battle of Britain, nobody can forget the iconic images of ruins and despair caused by the German bombers. Yet there within the middle of it all, St. Paul’s Cathedral stands untouched, among the ruined bombed-out remains of London around it. This became a symbol of patriotism, not just to the people of the UK, but to the rest of those fighting against tyranny.

And occupy protesters want to poop on it.

That goes to show what these “OWSers” stand for. At least I know what side I’m on.

I try so hard not to be pass judgement but lately I am so frustrated with people that Ican’t help myself. Why are these brainwashed programmed robots making a deal with the devil regardless of the damage they cause? It is hard for me to understand how this can happen . Where is their common sense? What made them cross the line? Where are their morals? What could lead them down this road? I am just at a loss. I am going to pray for them AGAIN, and ask for the strength and common sense that I need to deal with the craziness of the world that I am living in. God help us.
