‘Golden Voice’ Homeless Man Turns Up at Occupy Wall Street

Golden Voice Homeless Man Ted Williams Turns Up at Occupy Wall Street

Occupy Wall Street has seen a steady stream of famous and otherwise notable people pass through New York City’s Zuccotti Park. The latest one to turn up? Ted Williams, perhaps better known as the homeless man with the “golden voice.”

Williams skyrocketed into the national spotlight in January, becoming a YouTube sensation after a reporter with the Columbus Dispatch noticed him on the side of a highway with a sign advertising his “God-given gift.” From there, it was job offers, a stint on NBC’s “Today” and reports of a reality show, as well as run-ins with the police and rehab.

GBTV producer Nick Rizzuto spotted Williams in Zucotti Park Friday, where he said Williams was “greeted like a rock star” by people in the camp.

“He was shaking hands and taking photographs with both passersby and occupiers. He was telling everyone he stood in solidarity with the Occupy Wall Street,” Rizzuto observed.

Yea and i think he works with nbc right? So he wouldn’t be getting fired saying he is in solidarity with them. Well i take that back because Fox didn’t fire heraldo for backing them up too. Although he is probably living down there with them since he was so proud of his March and bragging about it to them to try to say hey i’m with you. He would be fire if he work on my network sure he has freedom but my business what not be shown to have one of my employes back a movement with rapes, anti-Semitic,killing. But hey as geraldo said bragging to them i march too. Once he came in my office i would have to say here is your last check. Call me whatever you want but my bussiness WILL NOT back or be in solidarity with a group like that.

If Ted Williams can’t get ahead in life it is his own fault not the 1%.

“According to Williams, his life started falling apart in 1986 with a combination of drug and alcohol abuse plus a loss of interest in his career. During this period Williams was arrested at least seven times on charges including theft, drug possession, escape, and robbery.” – wiki

The only charities I donate to are churches. They take care of their own people and the money is well spent. None of this freeloaders coming in to beg for drug money. Stand by your church and your beliefs. Corruption even creeps into things like Muscular Destrophy donations.

If the “coming out” of the socialist/ communist/ marxists/ progressives have shown anything, it is how their values and principles are not founded in personal responsibility or deeds, but rather popularity, and said intent. They can’t stand individuality because they hate themselves. What is there to like about themselves?

What dribble. It’s the liberal mindset to see people as victims, instead of seeing them as victims to their own thinking and actions. This man abandoned his wife and children and chose drugs and debauchery as a way of life.

Because he lives in America, and because HE chose not to continue to be a victim of his thinking, he was able to get the help he needed to get straight, find gainful employment and a second chance, and mend his relationship with his family.

Why is that so difficult to understand?

I’m surprised Bill Clinton hasn’t visited for a nickel bag! Remeber during his Harlem office rental stomp when he talked about East er West er Harlem and how he took that great big old bus from LGA to 125th Street on his flight back from London (and Moscow)? Well the problems are (1) nothing from London lands at LGA, (2) since his office was in neither East nor West Harlem, but Central Harlem and he wasn’t travelling by bus from the airport, but by train from New Haven, where he’d stop in Harlem and buy toots for his friends! He got his metaphors mixed up a bit!

Ted may feel sympathy for the OWSers, since he was once homeless and a drug user. But lets face it, Ted won the lottery. He was discovered, just a face in the crowd at the right time, and at the right place.
Like a runaway teen hoping to make it big in Hollywood, these OWSers don’t have a chance.

Soooo, let me get this straight – in a time when up is down, right is wrong and evil is good.

Mr. wonderful voice was discovered, on the streets with – nothing. No hope, no support, no purpose. He has since benefited from the good-will of many Americans and the capitalistic system that has groomed him, corrected his disgusting teeth to “pearly whites”, provided a very nice suit, employment and income the surpasses what I make in a year.

The key here is that he had the freedom and the opportunity to succeed in a free and capitalistic society that allows for personal improvement and rewards personal work/effort….

And this idiot shows up to “support” the anarchists who are challenging the very system that allows them to challenge and the system that brought “Mr. Voice” from the depths, to a plateau of success and wonderful possibilities.

So much for sincere gratitude….so much for a fundamental understanding of what he has in his freedom……and so much for the damage that he is doing for others who are in need of a helping hand – but may not have that opportunity – due to a large, overwhelming majority of American who view the “Occupy” pimple an assault to their country.

“Mr. Voice” is yet another stooge for Soros, Van Jones, Trumpka and the others who want to “CHANGE” the United States of America.

Those who are now silent or not heard/covered by the national media prostitutes, will find their voice next November.

      That voice will be loud

RJO-couldn’t say it better myself. It is astonishing the lack of commonsense and logic from libs/progressives. The lack of being able to think objectively, if even just a little is scary. Hey golden voice, you bring that check book with you so you can spread your new found wealth equally among the folks? Because that is the goal, right? Once someone ‘makes it’, Take only what you need to live and disperse it to those that haven’t made it (for whatever reason). I hope he realizes it’s not fair that he has a voice that can earn money and they don’t.
