Barack Obama, Ed Schultz Make GQ’s ‘Least Influential People Alive’ List
While magazines across the country offer readers their pick of the world’s “most influential people,” this year, GQ magazine is bringing you the “The 25 Least Influential People Alive” — and on the list are MSNBC host Ed Schultz, and, of all people, President Barack Obama. This is the same magazine that oddly, named Obama “Leader of the Year” in 2009 and “Man of the Year” in 2008 while calling Sarah Palin “dangerous” and “poisonous.”
But now, GQ has weighed the data and places Obama as the 25th least influential person in the world. Joining the president and Schultz are Daily Beast and Newsweek editor Tina Brown, along with Hosni Mubarak, Hank Williams Jr. and John Boehner, who came in at number 24.
While the issue has not yet been published, TVNewswer brought us a taste of what GQ had to say about Schultz:
β¦Then there pundits likeΒ Ed Schultz. Do you watch “The Ed Show” on MSNBC? Of course you donβt. No one does. The only reason people watch “The Ed Show” is theyβre working out in a hotel gym and they canβt find a staff member to change the channel to ESPN.
But where GQ really pulls out all the stops, is in disparaging Tina Brown. Forbes’Β Jeff Bercovici brings us that bombshell:
Brown spent 2011 transforming Newsweek from a magazine no one reads into a magazine no one reads but everyone despises. Thatβs what happens when you star-f**k the corpse of Princess Diana by Photoshopping her at age 50 for your cover, then do a separate Photoshop of her holding an iPhone, and then create a fake Facebook page for her that includes wall posts from Deepak Chopra. Did you know Tina and Di were friends? They were! This Photoshopped image of them having lunch with Stevie Nicks is proof!
We will have to wait until GQ publishes its Least Influential People list to see what the magazine had to say about Obama.
But even if GQ has fallen disenchanted with Obama, the president still has his top 50 ranking as an “InfluentialΒ Jew” Β by Jewish Forward magazine.

Posted on November 26, 2011 at 8:43pm@voiceofreason305 why when Eden was perfect did man sin? Its called free will. Choice. Adam was told (Eve was not there for that briefing) by the Almighty “And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Gen 2v16-17) Eve was deceived by the Nachash – Whisperer – serpent that if she ate of this tree she would be like God and God was lieing about her dieing if she ate of it. “And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat,” Gen 3v2-6a. The devil is still saying “hath God said?” and we still have free will to chose and there is no free will unless there is the possibility of chosing the wrong outcome. “and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. ” Gen 3.6b Adam knew better – his act of disobedience was treason to God’s law.

Posted on November 25, 2011 at 7:25pmWhat I really would like is for GQ to explain why they ranked the President the way that they did in the past two years.
The answer, of course, is that they were following along with this whole “cult of personality” wave that got him elected, gave him his Nobel, and so forth.
Does GQ’s change of heart indicate that perhaps more media sources will also start to recognize that they were complicit in the attack on America that has been President Obama’s first term?

Posted on November 26, 2011 at 7:06amI doubt there will be any “mea culpa” moments from the complicit media. They sold Obama to the America people like a fairy tale (for those who bought it) and have covered up or ignored everything negative about him, his administration, and supporters. While at the same time completely trashing people like Sarah Palin “This is the same magazine that oddly, named Obama βLeader of the Yearβ in 2009 and βMan of the Yearβ in 2008 while calling Sarah Palin βdangerousβ and βpoisonous.” Seriously, how can the media hold so much control over the American people? It’s like a minority population controlling the majority. It was really hard but we finally cut service to cable and use the internet for news and other services for movies and entertainment. Maybe if more people would do the same it would send a message, and if the media still doesn’t get it, maybe the advertisers would.

Posted on November 26, 2011 at 7:53amYou act as if the press did not vet Obama in 2007/2008? They did vet him and found him to be an extreme leftist with a Marxist whore chasing father and a mother who could not keep her panties on when a Marxist was in the room, any Marxist. He was their perfect candidate. He was the most polished and articulate extreme leftwing nutcase they had ever found and he did not live in a box behind a dumpster, a homeless shelter or in a cave in Arizona.
What the press is upset and disappointed with is that he was spineless when he had a super-majority and failed to take this country far enough to the left. He failed to bring about the magical leftwing utopia they all still very much believe in.
The economy is down in the eyes of the left, not because Marxism is incompatible with prosperity but because Obama failed to swing all the way to extreme Marxism.
They are not disenchanted with Obama because of his Marxist policies, they are disenchanted because he is not 110% Marxist. If Obama had pushed full hard left and perhaps suspended the elections and tried to assume full dictatorial control of the Federal Government he would still be the hero of the media and the stories would reflect that.
He failed and now a small group of about 50 real conservatives in Congress are able to move the RINO’s just enough to the right to hold him back. Fortunately most leftists are serious spineless cowards or 2008-2010 would have been much worse and GQ much happier.
