Video: Cops Toss Occupy Protesters Out of Beck Book Signing
Police officers threw a group of Occupy demonstrators out of a Glenn Beck book signing in Tallahassee, Fla. Friday as they shouted familiar themes about “the 99 percent.”
Video footage uploaded to YouTube shows at least nine individual protesters being escorted out of the Barnes and Noble bookstore where Beck was signing copies of “Being George Washington” as bystanders booed them.

“The temperature is changing!” one protester is heard saying on the video as an officer escorts him away. Another shouts “Mic check!” and is answered from another part of the store.
The video shows some protesters being led away in clusters while others are removed individually.
“They’re all over the store,” someone comments on the video.
“We speak out for the rights of everyone including yours. We are the 99 percent. These people are the 99 percent,” another protester says as he is led outside.

We can deduce from this that they can’t speak for 3% that has no opinion, 53% who don’t know what’s going on, and obviously the 19% who oppose. They should be saying we are the 24%. Lets just say this put things in perspective when you hear the phrase, “You don’t speak for the rest of us.”

Meanwhile, David Brooks was on CSPAN BookTV, promoting a REAL book that he actually wrote, unlike Glenneth who never authors anything without the help of a staff of ghost writers. Mr. Brooks said that showbiz pundits like Beck and Coulter are best left ignored and that they are a negative influence on the nation. He’s a leading conservative pundit who doesn’t resort to fear mongering and a carnival atmosphere like Glenn and Ann employ in their effort to amass wealth. You can watch it again at midnight if you missed it. I tweeted the question that precipitated Mr. Brooks comments BTW.

Parents can only do their best and no doubt a lot of them have had parents who didn’t care, but ther are probably many whose parents tried. Don’t forget, the schools have had these kids since they were 5 yrs old. If you’ve never had kids in public schools, you don’t realize that for over 30 yrs, there’s been an unwritten but real issue of the kids being told they need to go home and teach their parents this or that! This subconsconciously (sp) tells the kids their parents don’t know what they’re talking about. My husband and I spent as much time re-educating our kids as anything else we did, and we had a family that our kids would talk to us about what went on at school. (Some of it anyhow!) I came early to realize, “THE ONLY THING I KNEW WOULD REALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE WAS TO PRAY FOR MY KIDS!

These pampered, spoiled brats are getting money somewhere. Who can afford to live in tents on the street and do what they do? How many of them are actually IN their theoretical 1%? They ALL have more money than I do – they must. While they “occupy,” I have to work every single day for a living to survive. Nobody pays me to sit around all day and do nothing but gripe and inconvenience the masses who also are working their backsides off with 1 or 2 or 5 jobs (I had FIVE jobs at a time one year in the attempt to get on top of my life financially).
2. And just for the record, where do these people charge up all those electronics they’re enjoying during their occupation?
3. Remember when Bush was president and we went into Iraq and the liberals accused the U.S. of being occupiers, rather than liberators – and they claimed that occupying was a BAD thing. Now they think their filth and drugs and weapons and slothful trespassing occupation is a GOOD thing?

Posted on December 4, 2011 at 6:50pmWhen I lived in NYC, I saw people pooping in public all the time, in the subways, between two parked cars, in a doorway, pretty much anywhere they could support themselves sufficiently to manage their squat (we, Westerners, aren’t as good at pooping or birthing in a squat, unlike people in other parts of the World)! I agree, pooping ‘on’ a cop car was a deliberate insult, but really, the poor guy looked like he just had to go and went where he went! NYC isn’t known for it’s bathrooms–I remember interviewing in NY and really having an urgent need to pee. Not finding anywhere to go, I entered a restaurant and politely asked if I could use their ‘facilities’! They obliged and had a patron and his wife/girlfriend/associate (and no, it wasn’t Herman Cain) get up during lunch, so he could move their table away from the loo door until I had accomplished my task, after which he reseated them in the same, precarious spot–they were lucky I didn’t have a bigger problem, or I would have ruined their lunch for sure! What’s the saying “The only thing worse than having diarrhea is trying to take care of it quietly in a public restroom!” Mortification=’thinking you’re gonna die, and after awhile, wishing you would!’

He’s actually the hot air that irritates the low IQ crowd so they’ll stay good angry customers for his merchandise and ghost-written books he puts out more often than the stuff a goose’s digestive tract creates. Same end product though.

In the first case they are arbitrarily denying other citizen’s right to assemble. In the latter case, police are dispersing an illegal gathering. A gatherings designed to deny other citizens freedom to travel, etc.

Very friendly, smiling at visitors, great time had by all. Glenn Beck is simply amazing! Real guy! Real patriot! There were a couple of dirtbags out front of Hastings there in Tyler carrying signs (idiots). They yelled “where is the tea pary!” I quietly answered her rant… your surrounded by them. We love ya Glenn Beck!

There are times as I face various trying situations that I “know” it’s prayers such as yours, and God’s divine spirit, that provide the “‘answers” on how to handle the incident and get me home in one piece at the end of the shift.
