Occupy Portland Mother Places 4-Year-Old Daughter on Train Tracks During Protest to Shut Down Port

Another outrageous incident has occurred within the Occupy movement. WeaselZippers brings us a disturbing interview with a young Occupy Portland mother. In the video the woman unfathomably tried to justify placing her 4 year-old daughter on train tracks in an effort to shutdown the Port of Portland on Tuesday.

The mother’s excuse for jeopardizing her young child in such a reckless and unthinkable way? She claims that she has “faith in humanity” and thus does not believe that anyone driving the train would not stop for her daughter.

why wasn’t she arrested? I know people who lost custody of their child for working in bars or doing drugs. That little girls self-esteem has been damaged. her mother just showed her that her life is nothing, that it’s okay to throw away your life or endanger it as long as its for a good cause.

  @KKy – so true …If she was really committed to her cause she would have put herself on the tracks…kind of like these folks who go on shooting rampages and then kill themselves – why not just start with the suicide and leave the others alone – cut out the middle man so to speak

  These are the people Elizabeth Warren said she’s the “philosophical inspiration” of. These are the people Nancy Pelosi said “God bless them”. These are the people Obama refuses to stop playing footsies with. Don’t tell me these lefties aren’t unhinged and delusional. They live in a fantasy world. They’re adult-children. I just cannot get my mind around the fact that a sitting president of the united states and some of the nation’s elected officials actually encourage groups that produce sociopaths like this woman. It’s not isolated…we’ve seen OWS use children as shields before. We’ve seen only recently a militant homosexual woman use her son to confront Michelle Bachmann. There’s footage of OWS protesters using their own children to shield doors from law enforcment. This isn’t a unique incident with this woman..this is a mindset of a core of these idiots seeing expression. These “revolutionary” clowns and anarchists have invested so deeply into their hippie delusions and marxist utopias that they will happily endanger their own children. Is this woman going to b arrested for child endangerment?? No and do you know why??? Because she was not feeding her twinkies or McDonalds… now sit down and shut up! OMG! This is somethng you expect out of ignorant people in desperate places. What a shame this poor child has a mother that would even THINK of such a thing.. I hope that they do not get to see this when they grow up! but then again, Mommy would just tell them that Humanity is so kind that just the love of other humans would stop the train before it EVER got there… I am just beside myself on this one.. just beside myself!

If I wanted to play armchair psychologist I’d say this is the ultimate manifestation of anarchist and leftist sociopathy in that “Sacrifices have to be made in this war against the rich….everyone knows that in every revolution, a little blood has to be spilled”. I see nothing from the unhinged left to change my mind on that.

I mean…here you are…you’ve witnessed a stinky OWSer use her own child as a shield against oncoming trains as part of her protesting. Yet you’re consciously and enthusiastically attempting to sow doubt about what we can see with our own eyes and hear with with our own ears. So I ask again…is it difficult to do what you do for you leftist cause? Can you really delude or convince yourself to such a degree that you’ll ignore pretty much anything, any kind of behaviour, any truth that paints you and your allies in “the cause” in a bad light simply because your “cause” is percieved as more imperative or valuable to you? Please…I’d really like to get a grasp on how a leftist can see another leftist put their child on a railway track in order to stop oncoming trains for a protest…and will completely deny it has taken place. The train engineer might have had faith that she would take her daughter off the tracks. Then he might have realized what POS this woman is & tried to stop. Nothing stops on a dime.

  One thing to note, trains are not going full-speed through the port, so that may be the explaination for her misguided confidence. Still, it is tresspassing and she’s involving her daughter in a criminal and dangerous action.

  This is the state where children have been taken from foster parents and sent to live in Mexico with relatives they never knew before, one child even dying from the poor care she received south of the border. A family I know of cannot adopt the foster children who have been with them most of the kids’ lives because the children are from a tribe which opposes their adoption. As a state, Oregon has sacrificed the best interest of the child to ideology in the past, I doubt they’ll reverse course on the Occupods (t/p Lars Larson) until someone’s child is actually injured. They let a registered sex offender live in the camp downtown after all.
