Video Catches Man Crashing Through Gas Station While Trying to Run Down His Girlfriend

When you watch this video, you might want to give the driver of the vehicle the award for worst driver. Or maybe you’ll wonder if a higher power was intent on not letting this attempted domestic abuser from getting away.

ABC News reports on surveillance video that caught one Tennessee man chasing his girlfriend with an SUV. But “chasing” may sound rather timid compared to what he did, which was drive his truck through the wall of a convenience store in order to try and run her down. He failed. In fact, he even failed at the attempted escape when he stole a store patron’s car and then crashed it into a bread truck just seconds later:

Thankfully the convenience store owner, the man seen actually getting hit by the truck in the store, is alive. The driver, 41-year-old Erik Whitaker was chasing his ex-girlfriend Laquisha Dansby, whom police officials say he was in a domestic dispute with.

In the chaos that ensued, Whitaker attempted to escape in the SUV of Andrea Kreisel, which she left running outside after she rushed to survey the aftermath of the original crash.

Whitaker did not get very far, though. He crashed Kriesel’s SUV head-on into a bread delivery truck while exiting the gas station parking lot. ABC News reports that Whitaker was taken by helicotper from the scene to Vanderbilt Medical Center where he remains in critical but stable condition.

Local police say he will face charges that include attempted first degree murder, aggravated assault and theft.

Those ‘SUVs’ sure are dangerous: always running into smaller cars and crashing into storefronts. You can tell the women saw that evil SUV coming and ran into the store to protect herself.
We sure need to get rid of them. Once we all drive A Prius, life will be much safer…

The woman who tried to help and then lost her own car in this epic mayhem fail sounds to be not as upset as Beck after his encounter with someone who was surprised to see he still lived in the same apartment building as him. Thats a real forgiving woman there. Beck…not so much. Come get me chillywilly.

I just wonder how much this idiot has contributed to society. Now he destroys a convenience store, completely wrecks his vehicle, wrecks two othe rvehicles and is now going to burden the criminal justice system. Hopefully if he is in jail he can’t vote for Odumbo, or can he?

  I will tell you how he contributed to society. First the insurance companies will make lots of money from this, because they will just raise everyone involved rates. The contractor that fixes the building will make money, the body shops will make money fixing the vehicles. Then some ACLU lawyers will make lots of money defending him, blaming society for this mans flaws. Finally the jurors will write memoirs of their time serving jury duty. Everyone else wins and the victims lose. No amount of money will repair the victims lives. May God bless those injured in this heinous crime.

I know this sounds horrible but, just pull the plug. This piece of human debris is running up a hospital bill, that the tax payers will have to pay.
The courts will just put him right back out on the streets. He will kill this woman, plus anyone else who happens to be standing near her.
