Another Kennedy With Political Aspirations: Joe III Seeks Barney Frank’s Congressional Seat

WASHINGTON (The Blaze/AP) — Joseph Kennedy III is taking the first steps toward a run for retiring Rep. Barney Frank’s seat in Massachusetts.

The 31-year-old Kennedy said Thursday he is forming an exploratory committee and is resigning his prosecutor’s job in Middlesex County outside Boston. He is the son of former Rep. Joseph P. Kennedy II and a grandson of the late Robert F. Kennedy.

The Kennedy family has seen its influence in Washington fade in recent years as its younger generations have largely shunned public office.

The death of Sen. Edward Kennedy of Massachusetts in 2009 left a void for the family. The retirement of Rep. Patrick Kennedy of Rhode Island last year marked the first time in 63 years that there was not a Kennedy serving in elected office in Washington.

The liberal voters in MA will elect him on his name alone. Don’t for get they kept returning Barny and Teddy to office in spiite of their antics.
The voters in MA ar either ignorant or they like their representatives to be involved in scandals.

We started on the road of destruction of a moral political society with the Kennedy name, why not end with it. I agree if I was going to take Barney’s seat….would have to come with plenty of lysol. At least they were a little more discreet about their Hollywood parties and we didn’t have to hear about them like we do the Obama’s until after the fact.

I was hoping we would never see a Kennedy again….too bad this guy feels he is entitled:
- Born with political birthright, CHECK
- raised an elitist, CHECK
- Attend Ivy league college, CHECK
- Graduate from Harvard (or Yale) Law School, CHECK
- Begin using birthright for entitlement to a congressional seat, CHECK
Now all he needs are the blind to vote for his last name.

Advice for Joseph Kennedy III:

1. Have a close friend or family member run a prostitution ring from your home. This worked well for Barney.

2. If you do win Barney’s seat – you may want to Lysol that thing before resting your royal Kennedy rump on it.

Caroline Kennedy can tell you that voters are no longer impressed by dynasty. Like father is not like son and the son after that. We have too many serious problems to be foolish with our votes over name, charisma, fame, historical racial/gender candidates, religious preference, etc.

  I pretty much agree. It would be nice if some Democrats nowadays were like Jack Kennedy in a few ways (besides personal behavior and having books ghost written). For example, Kennedy lowered tax rates to help the economy and he strengthened our military to stand up to the Soviets. He was kinda inept at Vienna, he did mess up the Bay of Pigs operation, and we did give away a lot to get the missiles out of Cuba. Also, that thing in Vietnam didn’t go too well. Still, all considered, Jack Kennedy was profoundly better than the Democrats in office today.

From what I understand, he has never drove his pregnant girlfriend off a bridge and killed her, he hasn’t slept with Lady Gaga, and he doesn’t know a Weatherman, not even Al Roaker. But he does have a tendency to tap his feet in airports and likes erotic-asphyxiation. At least that is what Hillary said about him.
