If you follow politics, you’ve probably seen a lot of interviews where the interviewee refuses to answer the questions and instead spews only talking points. If those interviews frustrate you, get ready to pull out your hair when you see this one with DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
In fact, the interview was so frustrating that interviewer and Fox host Brian Kilmeade was even caught rolling his eyes during it. We would give you some quotes, but all you need to know is this — When Kilmeade or fellow host Steve Doocy would ask a question, Wasserman Schultz either wouldn’t answer, or would respond with an attack on Mitt Romney. And then both proceeded to take some underhanded shots at each other. Really. It was that bad. And at one point it looked like Kilmeade was ready to end the whole thing and walk away.
See for yourself, and try not to scream (it’s safe to say both Republicans and Democrats will find this cringe-worthy):
By the way, that interview could put the chairwoman in the elite Alvin Greene territory — you know, when all he would say is “Jim DeMint started the recession” in an interview with Larry O’Donnell (starting at about 1:30):

When it is not their turn to speak, they smile a wylie smile, and shake their head “no;” they roll their eyes, and communicate visually when it is the other person’s turn to speak. When they are cornered, they talk OVER the other person, regardless of whose turn it is to speak. When the segment is over, they KEEP ON TALKING, even after they are politely told to shut up – there is no more time.
The behavior is almost universal. This cannot be a coincidence.
What I’d like to know is, how does she do it all?
Hold office?
Chair the DNC?
Appear on Fox News every 10 minutes? (hyperbole, but she is on a LOT !)
Any one of those would be a full time job, which tells me she is DNC chair in title only, she is a representative in title only. Why? because those two can be done by committee, and all she has to do is show up and vote as she is told (allegedly).
Appearing on Fox News with the frequency she does and the prep she has put in in advance, is evidenced by her appearances on Fox.

Jan. 20, 2012 at 10:37amIt has been my observation that regardless of the network or show the quick ending of an interview always signals that the interviewer was being out maneuvered by the quest. In this case not exactly a great accomplishment. As reluctantly pointed out on this site, Bain has two unrelated companies and Romney’s role at Bain is the issue and focus. Identifying that another individual came from Bain’s consulting company as having some relevance to Romney’s business record is a weak deflection and of no relevance. Romney needs to provide his tax returns, explain exactly how many jobs his actions created or moved offshore and to what extent Bain’s profit was done at the expense of the company in question, the workers, the pension plan, creditors, etc. The answer to those questions holds the key to his ethics and integrity. As mentioned, if he was a corporate raider and made money at the expense of others that’s great. He just needs to stand up and tell the truth. It is sad to watch him try and spin it as job creation just as it is sad to see Newt try and spin is moral bankruptcy as a media attack.

Ask the question again, turn the mic on, if they do not answer once again, warn them 3rd time, ask once again and if when you turn on the mic they don’t answer, interview over. I am so sick of hearing the rights questions asked, but NEVER answered. Just get a lot of double talk. FOX does softball interviews with Republican, but they debate, rather than interview, Democrats. That’s just FOX. And these morning FOX guys are no match for Wasserman as the video shows. I’d be surprised if they ever invite here back after this as bad as this was for them.

Feb. 18, 2012 at 7:24amI watched an interview with a Canadian reporter saying Canada won’t allow the pipeline over it’s lands. And that the current pipelines this co runs leak all the time. If Canada won’t do it, why should we? They’ve gone from 1000 jobs to 500,000 at times, when we know that a pipeline takes sensors and just a few people watching light panels and switches. 20 was the latest estimate for full-time jobs when the building is over. Plus- Some of the states don’t even want it on their land, that they’d have to give them to build it. I’m for putting solar and wind on as much Gov buildings as possible, to cut “gov” costs (our taxes) forever, while increasing supply and decreasing demand during PEAK periods. Aren’t we ever going to get off cave man technology of burning things to make light? 3 refineries just shut down, 30+ in the last 35 years, least imported oil in 16 years, and prices of gas still going up? When’s Obama going to investigate THAT?

Apparently Romney has such an overpowering persona that the entire corporate philosophy changed when he left the company. When Romney was there the policy was to raid corporations and kill as many babies as possible in the process. After he left, the whole company was suddenly coalesced into heaven because of its sheer purity of heart.
The philosophy and purpose of Bain was the same during the tenure of Romney as it was during the tenure of Obama’s appointee. Apples and apples.

That’s venture capital when you get start-ups going ENCIDIOT. Did Bain have to shutter some companies after buying in? Only the venture capital this time was tax payer money arbitrarily forced into Solyndra by Obama’s Energy Secretary Steven Chu after every study and analyst said Solyndra would fail. Forced into Solyndra to try to create a green market where there isn’t one. To add insult to injury, Chu subordinated the loan guranatnees to make sure Obama’s campaign bundler kept his investment while the tax payer has to wait to find out if he gets his money back. Romney raided those companies, forced them to take out loans against the emeplyees pension plans and when the companies went belly up (think Kay B Toys), Bain got payed 100% of their fees and the federal goverment was forced to fund at pennies on the dollar the employee pension plans that Bain raided.

Chinese Solar products dumped onto our market, allowed in cheaper than they can be made for, because of Clinton signing Newt’s NAFTA and the Chinese using Capitalist tactics of destroying competition with lower prices, before raising them back up. Obama is not bashing the Chinese to keep them buying IOU’s. About GM. We invested/refinanced GM, to the tune of about 80% at the time. They had been “reporting” employee pensions as cash and income even tho they were going down in actuality from the crash. The Railroads had to get off that BS accounting method about 10 years ago. It was making the railroads look more profitable than they really were. Plus GM refused to design an electric car or use the Chevy Volt tech. GM originally tested it on a Hummer, it got 40 miles before it needed to turn on the gas engine. Guess how far the teeny hybrid with the same HUMMER tech in it gets? 40mpg. Yeah, we owned 80% of the co and fired the over-paid thief that was running it into bankruptcy while getting a multi-million $ parachute. Screw him. They’re selling more cars than anyone else “in the world” now. THAT’s a big-F-ing deal in my neck of the woods.

Here’s a recommendation to further the understanding of our enemy: First, read “The Prince” (no, not “Raspberry Beret”); then read some of Abby Hoffman’s writing (e.g.: “Steal this Book”) then follow with Noam Chomsky and end up with Alinsky — Obama’s mentor – and Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals”. If you can somehow find it, you could read Hillary Clinton’s college senior honors thesis which discusses Alinsky et.al. in glowing terms. Wasserman is like the point man on the battlefield; reactions to her comments are analyzed and carefully reviewed by the enemy to further strategize the Progressive Agenda of the destruction of the American Republic. Know Your Enemy – no matter how despicable they are, it is only with that knowledge that you will form YOUR plans for their eventual defeat. If those plans include violence, it wouldn’t be the first time in our Republic’s history that Patriots have acted against an invasion. What matters most is the preservation of our Republic.

Fox, by allowing DWS to spew contemptuously on air, could possibly facilitate the difficult task of informing the public (the news media’s primary function) of these developments and how conservatives outnumber the far left by nearly 2:1. Americans often like to back the winning team, so perhaps with a little luck we will get some mainstream old school democratic Americans to see things our way and vote for the GOP nominee in November (pipe dream?).

Does Fox bring bomb throwers like this on the program to simply reinforce stereotypes and reflexive dislike for all things Progressive/Democrat/Marxist?
I have to admit to being extremely curious about the metrics surrounding this type of situation. There has to be some sort of data driven theory behind the notion that you can positively affect your position by claiming that up is down and down is up on national television.
Personally, I feel insulted and angry when politicians or PR hacks pull the Baghdad Bob. They are essentially looking me and the rest of the audience right in the eye and saying – I think you’re stupid…maybe even stupid enough to be convinced by this.
Like most people, I don’t care for being insulted and form an instant dislike and lack of trust for that person. I’d imagine others have a similar reaction, so I have to think there is some sort of positive end game that can be won with the Baghdad Bob tactic. Otherwise it wouldn’t be worth the risk of alienating so many. Would love to see those public perception metrics.

Rubin, 66, pleaded guilty in April to federal tax evasion after failing to report $100,000 in fees he received from the town of Davie for a land deal he brokered in 2004.
