Would be Robber Allegedly Beaten to a Pulp With His Own Shotgun by Bar Patrons

Not only did John Columbus Beane leave penniless after two armed robbery attempts on November 7, his shotgun was reduced to pieces by patrons at a bar he held up who allegedly took the weapon from the would-be robber and clubbed him with it repeatedly.

The Charleston Gazette reports that Beane had first attempted to rob a Pizza place, but after the cashier fled through the back exit the rober was unable to open the register. After that, Beane hit the bar where patrons hit him:

“‘I thought maybe he was a weirdo,’ Harman said, at first not realizing that Beane was there to rob the place. ‘Halloween’s over.’

Beane pointed the shotgun at Harman and in a near-whisper told her to hand over whatever was in the cash register. That’s when local drifter Steven Thaxton, one of the two patrons in the bar at the time, stepped in.

Thaxton laughed, and according to Harman, said, ‘You’re not going to try and rob us with a BB gun, are you?”

Thaxton, soon aided by Gary Hall, began struggling with Beane and eventually wrested the weapon away and dragged him outside to the parking lot.

‘Him and Steven just started fighting with the gun,’ Hall told the Gazette. ‘I knew if it went off it was either me or the bartender who gets shot. I didn’t have any choice but to help.’

Hall would not comment on what had transpired once the men were in the parking lot, but according to Giggenbach, Thaxton and Hall beat Beane with the shotgun until it broke apart.”

The Daily Mail reports that Beane appeared in a West Virginia county courtroom Friday admitting to two charges of first-degree robbery in November, which if running together will put him behind bars for a minimum of 20 years.

If sentenced separately he faces at least 10 years.

  But the 10 to 20 years of being someones Beeeyatch in the showers, I think I would rather work at Mac Donalds before going through that. It sounds like this guy just didn’t think this through, or maybe he should of taken that Mac Donalds job, at least the fryer doesn’t make you squel like a pig.

  This guy kind of reminds me of a guy I met around 1998. He was a construction worker and a severe alcoholic. He went to the bars every night He had 9 DUI’s, obviously couldn’t drive and spent many nights sleeping outside. He told me his retirement plan was to rob a bank. He wanted to go to jail where he would have a roof and 4 squares a day. If they let him out before he died, he would rob again. This guy kind of looks like him.

Agreed. I’m happy that they got the gun away from him. However, when they took it upon themselves to beat the guy till the gun broke apart they became the criminals.

  I disagree the beating might be the only justice he receives …90% of the crime in my area is committed by the same repeat offenders..who serve short jail time for there crimes..you can tell when their released from jail because the stealing starts again..our justice system does little to reform these low life’s

Well good for them! Glad to see it, we need more of this. However now will come the police who will tell us how we should not get involved leave it to them, and some such bologne like that. I hope these guy dont pick up a charge for doing the right thing, it is possible they will since from some over zealous Pros or cop wanting to be large and incharge.

  We need more of this? Really? What we need more of is peaceful resolution, not violence. It was a peaceful resolution when they got the gun away from the individual and at that point, stopped a crime from potentially turning tragic. When they decided to be the judge and jury and find this criminal deserving of a horrendous beating, that’s when they went too far. If we “need more of this” as you put it then so be it. But I warn you, when someone doesn’t like the way you discipline your child in public…they’ll be made out to be a hero when they rip the child from your hands and beat you senseless. We’ll get to read about it on the sites like this.

They’re just lucky that this was a White guy who’d tried to rob them. If they’d beaten a Black robber this way, ZOG would have charged them all with ‘hate crimes’. (When the government starts outlawing emotions, we’re all in big trouble!)

  I totally agree. I was just reading a story about a 9 month old infant that was killed in Detroit by someone who was angry about there not being enough chairs at a baby shower.
  
  Just holding someone till the cops come is not always the correct answer. Had they just disarmed him and waited for the police would not face any justice for this crime. The courts will lower the charge, then give him time off for good behavior, so he will only do about 3 months. That is nothing compared to the 12-20 he should get for armed robbery. I can guarentee he will think twice about commiting another crime with that beating he took.
  
  If criminals had something to fear, maybe that 9 month old baby might still be alive.

I don’t know man, I hate seeing petty white theft criminals like this guy. He gives the left ammo and he’s like .00001% of the Caucasian element. He deserved a good ‘be a white man’ beatdown, but not shotgun whipped.

Awesome. This is all part of postpartum 911 when ‘America Fights Back’. And this is what the left can expect if they push the envelope any further than OWS when the spring comes. I read more and more of these everyday, especially handgun ‘fight back’ stories, and it’s great to see. :)

We’ve become a passive nation and we need to get our ballz back because there’s an epic battle up the road with someone coming up. WE need to be as ready as we can be for whomever it may be.

  no officer i am not quite sure what happened. he came in to rob the place and i reacted by grabbing his gun. next then i know there was a big BANG and the person trying to rob us was laying on the ground with smoke and blood coming out of the black hole in the middle of his chest
