If you add Gingrich and Santorums votes, Romney lost big in Ohio. I’m a Gingrich supporter but voted Santorum to try to keep Romney from winning. We are a RED STATE. Sherrod Brown is going down in November!

Mar. 7, 2012 at 12:27pmSantorum & Gingrich were not registered in Virgina. Ron Paul scored big there. I take that win as an anti-establishment vote.
The checked pants, staid country club Republicans who want to run the party are being sent a message. We do not want crony capitalism, creeping socialism, or an oligarchy of betters (what’s the latest schtick where they get to be the deciders?)
I mean Romney is for cap & trade. He believes in AGW. To avoid a .2 degree increase in temperature in the next hundred years we have to wipe 40% of our energy production (coal plants) & replace it with what? The Walking Dead & day walkers cannot put pen to paper & come up with a convincing plan to replace those coal plants with solar or wind.
For Romney to endorse the AGW dogma while not knowing the mathematics of it is damning. That is like George Bush saying he relied on ‘Shifty’ Paulsen because he didn’t know much about finance. Look where that got us. It got us government by Goldman Sachs / Government Sachs.
who signed on to TARP. McCain (McShame), Bush & Obama (a worthless tool). At least bush has guts most of the time.
Palin backed Gingrich. He choice is an anti-establishment move. It is to keep the primaries going & stick to the establishment. She might have a slim hope of a brokered convention & getting her real choice of candidate such as the Indiana politician, Christie or Rubio. Santorum is very damaged by the left. He has stances on every issue, but he is painted s

I love how people play the “what if” card to spin things.
How do you know Gingrich supporters wouldn’t vote for Romney?
And by the way.. Ohio was an open primary. There were plenty of democrats casting their vote for Rick. So using your hypothetical, if it was a closed primary, Romney would have ran away with it.

They were shocked when Republicans made historic gains in 2010, they were shocked when the two most liberal districts in America (i.e., Weiner’s & Grayson’s) were lost to “teabaggers,” and they will be shocked when Obama loses by a landslide in November.

Mar. 7, 2012 at 3:06amHey you guys Kucinich knew he was loosing and he as made plans to run for the new District being created in the Western Washington area near Bellingham. When the census created the redistricting requirements Ohio lost one and Washington added one. Not soon after these revelations became public there was speculation in Punditry land about what that do to Dennis Kucinich’s chances to hold on to his seat, they predicted he would lose it and when he did he would look to Washington State to stay in the House of Representatives for the Progressive Caucus.
I live here and remember those stories here and other sources, Fox News Channel. It was all over the news then.
Since I don’t get a say in if he wins or looses since I live outside the new district created it will be a nervous time to watch that race shape up. Since we are a predominately Democratic cesspool on the Western side of the state he should have a better time there than he just did in Ohio.
