Christie Calls Man an ‘Idiot,’ Tells Him ‘Shut Up’ During Town Hall Clash
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie got into a shouting match during a town hall Thursday, calling a man in the audience an “idiot” and telling him to “shut up.”
According to the New Jersey Star-Ledger, William Brown, a 34-year-old law student and veteran, had been repeatedly shouting at Christie in opposition to a proposed merger of two New Jersey universities. Video of the incident shows him asking the governor to “please consider veteran students and non-traditional students like myself.”
“If you decide what you want to do is put on a show today, let me tell you something, I can go back and forth with you as much as you want,” Christie said to applause. “And let me tell you something, after you graduate from law school, you conduct yourself like that in a court room, your rear end’s gonna get thrown in jail, idiot.”
The video, which was edited, then cut to Christie adding: “You know, I tried to be patient with the guy. Every time I tried to answer, he started yelling over me again. Damn, man, I’m governor, could you just shut up for a second?”
Brown was ultimately escorted out by police, the Star-Ledger reported.

Posted on March 9, 2012 at 10:55pmWe are in the most important election in our lifetime and we are reading about how Gov. Christie is scolding a college veteran activist? What about the claims of election fraud being discussed? How about a story on that “Blaze?’” How about the story on Romney’s cousins, all named Romney, are campaigniong for Paul? How about the bond bubble Paul is talking about? What about Paul’s statement on Defense Secretary Leon Panetta’s remarks to Congress?
“Defense Secretary Leon Panetta’s recent statements once again illustrate the Obama administration’s blatant disregard for the rule of law and our Constitution. For President Obama’s head of the Defense Department to state that international permission, rather than congressional approval, is what would be needed as a legal basis to initiate a no-fly zone over Syria flies in the face of the guidelines established by our Founders.”
Let’s have some stories on the most important event happening in America right now, The 2012 GOP Primary Race.

Posted on March 9, 2012 at 3:38pmI liked Christie’s take no prisoners style in the begining until I found he was so ignorant about Muslims and Sharia. He had no problem apointing Muslims to the bench. Now before some of you think I am being Islamaphobic and there is no problem with that. Think again. Anyone who calls themselves a Muslim is loyal to another form of governance. They do NOT uphold the Constitution. Think I am kidding read this story from a previous Blaze post of a Muslim judge who proves my point. I am dismayed that Christie does not understand Muslim appointments to the bench do nothing but undermine our Constitution and liberties. It has been said that Isalm uses out tolerance of intolerance to wage a cultural Jihad. We as a country were not vigilant and now we are paying the price.

He may be crass at times, but he is doing his best. I follow this whole ‘school merger’ thing and find my fellow Veterans actions way out of line. I respect him of course for his service, but screaming? There is a time and place for everything. The Governor is extremely accessible, he is on radio all the time and takes phone calls for hours from average Joes. The libs/dems in this state have broken it. For those who do not live here, think about this..we have many many towns that pay over 20,000 bux on average for property tax alone. Not including expenses. All to support public pensions and salaries. The mis management of this state over the years is so criminal it would boggle your mind. I started a business here after retiring from the USMC…it is worth it, but expensive. Christie is ok in my book. Its Jersey, what do you expect, civility? Wow… threatening libertarians and fiscal conservatives to go against their political beliefs OR ELSE? Not a very charming strategy. Well I have watched these elections and watched how the people do no research and allow people like Rush, Glenn, Sean, and Bill tell them who to vote for. I watched Glenn daily while he was on Fox. I sometimes listen to Rush and Sean but overall I believe theses men have made a grave mistake. With Rush and Sean its only about R vs D. They are unwilling to accept the idea that their side is just as bad as the Democrats. I was under the impression Glenn understood but he zeal for Israel over the United States has really pissed me off.
I am Christian who supports Israel but I do not put their interests over ours(mainly my children’s).
Honestly answer these questions.
Does Romney cut real spending or just cuts to proposed future increases. Fact is he cuts very little. We are 16 trillion in debt!!!
Does Romney have pretty much the same foreign policy as Clinton, Bush, and Obama? Romney agrees with them.
Does the support Romney has shown for the NDAA not really bothered most of you?
Does Romney want us out of UN? If he does I haven’t heard it.
Does Romney believe that gun restriction laws keep us safer. Yes, he is on record saying that.
Has Romney said he supports a womans right to choose? Yes he has on many occasions.
Do you really think Romney can go after Obama on Obamacare? I mean he is on video saying he is glad Obama is using it.
I am still going to vote for Ron Paul. I will not vote for another Mcain.
