Piers Morgan in Disbelief After Obama Documentary Director Finds Prez Too Perfect

Davis Guggenheim is well-versed in the film arts. He’s the directer behind Al Gore’s “Inconvenient Truth” and also the pro-charter school work “Waiting for Superman.” But he doesn’t seem as familiar with the subject of his latest documentary for the Obama campaign called “The Road We’ve Traveled.” What do I mean? Well, while on Piers Morgan last night, he couldn’t name one negative thing about the president.

Morgan, who was in rare form, tried to get Guggenheim to explain how, if this is a legitimate documentary, he balanced it out. In other words, did he tell just one side of the story, or both. Turns out he told just one side, and he’s not ashamed about it. After Morgan asked what negatives Morgan included, Guggenheim responded “the negative for me was that there were too many accomplishments.”

Mediaite details the rest of the back-and-forth:

“Oh, come off it,” said Morgan, rather Britishly. “You can’t say that with a straight face! Come on.” But, evidently, Guggenheim could. He really, really could.

And so Morgan tried again: “Where do you find fault in [President Obama]? Personally?”

After a lengthy pause, the director concluded that, as it turns out, he finds no fault in Obama.

“He’s a perfect human being?” asked Morgan.

“Well, no,” Guggenheim admitted. “But I’m really quite in awe of him as a leader. And the choices he’s made.”

Later Morgan recapped: “You said the only negative was you couldn’t put enough positives in.”

“Well that’s true,” Guggenheim admitted sheepishly, “that’s true.” He would later say, after being asked how much the film cost and who paid, that he took a pay cut to make the film and described it as a sacrifice for his children and country.

Morgan wasn’t having any of that: “I’m surprised you weren’t paying him by the sound of it, for the sheer honor and joy.”

I had to laugh at his statement about him doing the best for his children and their future by re-electing Obama! So he wants a country for his children where they are told what to do, how to think, when to think it, why to think and where to think it. And where they are completely DEPENDENT upon the government. Obviously he didn’t teach his children how to take responsibility and be independent! I thought parents wanted to leave their children in a better situation then what they had it…..this guy thinks that slavery is better than freedom!

On a side note has anyone else received calls from the Obama Re-election Office requesting that you volunteer for them?

  Well he and Michelle want them to be able to get an abortion if they should need one in the future. Michelle stuffs her face with french fries and tells everyone else what to eat.   Actually I believe that some people have kind of an anti-liberty personality. They want to be told what to do every second of every day because it makes things easy for them – they’re not responsible because they were just doing what they were told. Many on the left, especially those pushing socialism/communism want those systems because they invariably lead to authoritarian governments. I believe these people have a similar mentality to prey animals like sheep or cattle. Fortunately, some of us are wolves.

  I received a call from Obama re-election commitee wanting my support. I told them I didn’t vote for Obama in the FIRST place and surely wasn’t going to vote for him this time. His presidency has been a DISASTER!
  
  We sold one of our horses to a couple in Australia earlier this year. As part of the export requirements the horse has to be quarantined for a short period of time. The international shipping company based in Florida wanted us to ship the horse to Chicago, Ill. to a quarantine facility there before leaving the USA. I told the shipper I wasn’t taking anything of mine anywhere near Chicago. When he asked why, I told him I could sum it up in one word….OBAMA! Needless to say we are using a different shipper.
  As a family we have decided not to have any business dealings or purchase any items from Chicago or any of the states that voted for Obama. Our family vacation destination was Hawaii but it has been changed to Alaska. In the past we purchased lots of cattle and hay from Colorado. Now we will purchase elsewhere. The states that voted for Obama or any of his cronies in the congress or senate
  have been marked off our list. We refuse to do business with them. Las Vegas…forget it. That is Harry Reid’s territory. I hope the freeloaders and SEIU members in sin city enjoy their unemployment and foreclosures. We are certainly not going to spend any money there. It’s time we started making these Libs and Dems feel the consequences of their votes. Thank You very
