R&B singer Cee Lo Green graced a campaign fundraiser for President Barack Obama on Friday with some of his musical stylings — of the explicit variety.
According to ABC News, the Grammy winner started his set at the Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Ga. with the uncensored version of his hit song, “F–k You.”
In a video of the performance, Green first flipped off the campaign donor audience before asking, “Can I cuss?” He then launched into the lyrics, with a particularly emphatic delivery of the song’s title.
ABC reported Green ultimately switched to singing the censored version of the song, “Forget You.”

According to Politico, White House press secretary Jay Carney told reporters before the fundraiser he wouldn’t comment about “specific songs.” Carney did say Obama is “a fan” of Green’s music.
Green drew controversy earlier this year after he performed John Lennon’s “Imagine” during from New York City’s Times Square on New Year’s Eve and swapped the line “no religion too” for “all religions true.”
