Maryland State Sen. Anthony Muse: Elect Me Because…I’m Black?
The idea of proportional representation has long been a staple of Leftist faculty clubs. And now Maryland State Sen. Anthony Muse, of Prince George’s County, may be trying to bring the idea to the United States Senate. One Maryland blogger noticed a bizarre palm card put out by State Sen. Muse, who is running to try to unseat sitting Democratic Sen. Ben Cardin in the Democratic primary, which includes the following statistical breakdown of the United States Senate:

Muse’s implied message – that racial categories should have a bearing on voter preferences, or on how representative the Senate truly is – raises some interesting questions. For instance, does he suggest a quota of 12 black Senators, given that 12 percent of the 100 member Senate would equal 12 seats. How, for that matter, would he propose to mathematically allow for fractional Senators – for instance, would he round up such that Jews get 2 Senate seats and Native Americans get 1?
Ironically, despite advancing this racial rationale for his candidacy, Muse is arguably the more conservative of the two candidates. Cardin has been rated by National Journal as the most liberal member of the Senate twice. Muse, meanwhile, takes conservative positions on immigration (he opposes the DREAM Act), and on same sex marriage. Oddly, despite this, he sells himself as a political clone of President Barack Obama, who has endorsed Cardin:

Posted on March 28, 2012 at 1:28amRead up on the D.C. mayor Marion Berry. He was arrested numerous time and even for smoking crack and this man was re-elected many time as the mayor of the Distric of Colombia, the capitol of this nation. Is that disgraceful or what. Search him out and read about him. That is black thinking for you when you want to disbelieve the leftist thinking of “vote for me because I am black.” They do and have and are living a lie. It is easier to believe a lie than the truth when people have no common sense and have to relate to people based on their skin color and have been duped into believing that it is man’s skin that is evil and not their hearts. It would be laughable if times were not so serious. It would be downright pituful it some of the people were not so dangerous. That alone proves that these people are not capable of handling responsibility or wanting responsibility to keep duping others in such a way as to cause distrust, lawlessness, etc., The people have long been without people who are true Christian leaders, but have watched some who are deceivers and are doing more harm by being false teachers than the obviously sinful and criminals.

Posted on March 28, 2012 at 7:00amBeing from Prince George County being black is an asset. This is Wash DCs bedroom and in the last 35 years has gone from a white enclave to a predominately black ghetto. It’s anchored by a few affluent black neigborhoods and lots and lots of section 18 housing.
Prince George Co has Income tax on salaries earned in the county, but the welfare recipients don’t pay so the county always has a budget shortfall. I know people who have bought homes and make sure they are in a bordering county to avoid the taxes.

That means that of the voting counties….St Mary’s (where I live) Calvert, Charles, Anne Arundel and Prince George county, ONLY Prince George and Charles votes count, there pop is so much higher than the rest of us and while St Marys, Calvert and Anne Arundel have a pretty even race mix and vote predominatly Republican…PG and Charles county have a HEAVY black and welfare population and ALWAYS vote democrat.
Very frustrating to live in this voting district, for the first time in my life I feel that my vote means nothing.

It should have to be earned the same as anyone else has earned the rewards of accomplishments using the same standards. The arguments that have won the give me attitude are ridiculous and should have never been granted. Equality is the only standard that should be used and when you cater to one group that equality disappears. Using ******* is no different than using other epitits that lower the standardof argument to nothing but prejudice pure and simple.

Posted on March 28, 2012 at 2:41amWouldn’t you think it be more cost effective to wait until Obama is NOT elected in 2013, then round up all those involved in a possible fraud if is found to be so? If he is somehow elected (with enough cheating going on to get him in,) all of those aiding and abetting (co-conspirators, if you will,) may be dealt with for sedition, attempted overthrow, fraud, and the book, depending of course, if he is ineligible.Things may be happening about the ineligiblity that we are not aware. I DO want to see Justice happen if he is shown to be ineligible. There are quite a few people putting their necks out saying that Obama is not eligible to be President. There must be something that can be proved if all those many people keep insisting his being ineligible is factual. It could be that if such a great fraud has been perpetrated on America there would be involvement by some in other countries who are waiting for Obama to get re-elected. Obama may do like Idi Amin Dada, who became known as “His Excellency President for Life, Field Marshal Al Hadji Doctor Idi Amin.” This Dada was know for being the butcher of Uganda. Something strange is going on in America. This is a time like no other in my lifetime.

Posted on March 28, 2012 at 1:49amSounds right. Tribes fighting against tribes.That is why is is not good to let too many people of other continents in here because some do want to bring it back to tribe against tribe. It may be that some have an abundance of some kind of gene that kicks in at a certain stage of stress or something. It is easier for some to steal and fight others than to build safe communities. Color is not the factor. It is the heart that has to be changed that enables attitude changed. When a change takes place there is the power to have empathy and understanding of others. Unfortunately some of these people do not know or want to know about this, as it would destroy how they are bound together within.That binding would be selfishness that could be changed, but people fear change. Some will not let the selfishness go. They mimic others in their selfishness while knowing it is wrong. Some do not try to find another way, as they are cowardly and a bit lazy.

That means 2/9 of the candidates are black – that’s greater than 12% of the candidates – almost double…
And he got one of his opponents names wrong – it’s Lih YounG – and she’s asian and a woman – how many women senators are there? Maybe we need another since they represent about 50% of the population of the United States…

Posted on March 27, 2012 at 10:29pmBecause the Constitution allows for only TWO senators per state as a means to prevent the larger states from running roughshod over smaller ones. That’s what makes this a REPUBLIC. A representative government that allows a minority of states to protect their citizens from being robbed blind. Originally Senators were appointed by the state’s legislatures, not elected by the people. That was changed with a constitutional amendment. It was not a change for the better as is evidenced by reelection of Harry Reid and Al Franken through some very suspicious voter activity. Like the SEIU serviced voting machines that listed Harry Reid as the candidate of choice before any vote was cast. Or the precinct vote counter who happened to find a few hundred votes in the trunk of his car that just happened to swing the votes in favor of Franken.

I appreciate your answer and your view of the process.
@CHIPS1,
Thanks for the laugh
@BRICKMOON,
100 is just fine with me, l.o.l.
Two Senators for every State were to be appointed by the State Legislature, why? Who knows the Senators and their beliefs / arguments better than the Representatives that fill the seats in the State Legislature. According to the U.S. Constitution as Ratified you as a citizen of the United States should not be voting for your Senator or the President of the United States, you do not know them. If you don’t like the Senator appointed by the State Legislature you and other constituents have the right every two years to vote your Representative from his seat giving you the ultimate power of government.
Now, with that said, C. Antony Muse is a perfect example of why, along with our present day Senate. If we continue to let the Legislative and the Executive Branch of government run all over the U.S. Constitution and change the rules without considering the meaning we deserve tyranny.

This is why I think the Reps, maybe santorum in this case cause he’s not going to get nominated and FL primary is over, should pick Rubio as his “running mate’. I’d imagine it’d be great to bait the left into this “Natural Born” citizen debate. Rubio is sharp guy that’s why he quelches all the interst in him as running mate. I personally belive he should be used a Patsy for the “NBC” issue to be exposed.
Let the left recuse themselves from this issue, I’d gauratee someone takes the bait though.
intersting article over at WND analyzing both Rubio-he’s ineligible, and Jindal- who is eligible.
Even touches on Dread-Scott decision that never used NBC in its rulings.
This Romney nbc issue is somewhat pressing – especially if a brokered covention takes place in tampa
