S.E. Cupp is a pretty chipper person. I’m not sure if that assessment helps her or not. I don’t know her that well. We went to lunch once. I’ve done a bunch of GBTV shows with her. That’s it. So, I don’t pretend to be the last word on all things Cupp. But I can say that she seems to be in a relentlessly good mood. She zips around. She quips. She sings.

Still, you always know that there is that side of S.E. Cupp that loves to go to the shooting range. Maybe that’s where she empties the dark and hidden chambers of her heart.

It’s enough to inform you that crossing Cupp might not be a wise idea.

Keith Olbermann once did just that. And wouldn’t apologize. And she let him know what she thought of that.

It took awhile, but a year later Olbermann did make a recompense of sorts. A year later.

So you can hardly fault Cupp for having a few well-timed thoughts about Olbermann’s dismissal from Current TV where he briefly worked in a position that had one sole goal — to make people aware that Current TV existed.

She explains Olbermann’s dismissal with two pretty blunt words. Those words are not “puerile misogyny.” Click the video and you will hear those two words. Consider yourself warned. And you will get to hear about “puerile misogyny” as a bonus!

She assures us she is not gloating. That she is not giddy or gleeful about Olbermann’s latest employment predicament. She is not envious of Olbermann’s “creepy fan boys” who hang on his “epithets” and endless tweets.

Cupp has, she says with firmness, “only pity.” Why pity? “For having had to spend the bulk of your immense brainpower ranking people on their worseness.”

She concludes in the only logical way: “You once suggested that my parents never should have had me. I am very sorry that your television career has just been aborted.”

Had she spoken extemporaneously I would be more impressed, she tried to write in so many quips she had to stagger through them like a kindergartner reading Tolstoy, and at the end, each was as cognizant of what they had just read. I was expecting something passionate and quick and I got blah blah blah, more Beck-ish type crap….ho hum…

  Look, next time you’re blogging and I’m guessing with another window open to a dictionary or some such site to “help” you sound more learned. Don’t. Cognizant or the sentence in which it was used are incorrect. Extemporaneously, eehh yea It’s used correctly but when you mess up later in the same paragraph with yet another uncommonly used “big” word, you sound stupid. dam…I’ve had a crush on S.E. Cupp since her “Red Eye” appearances. I love that she’s so fearless and Bold! She, as a target of Keith, deserves to be giddy. She handled herself well, I don’t know if I would be a reserved & tactful. I wish her the best as always.
