A Southern California middle school teacher was fired Wednesday for appearing in a pornographic movie, school district officials said.

Stacie Halas, 31, a science teacher at Richard B. Haydock Intermediate School, had been on paid administrative leave while the Oxnard Unified School District investigated the allegations after they surfaced last month. Oxnard is approximately 60 miles northwest of Los Angeles.

The investigation started when students approached school administrators and said they had seen a female teacher in a pornographic movie, the Los Angeles Times reported. Officials initially couldn’t confirm whether it was Halas — performing under the name Tiffany — because filters on the school’s computers blocked access to explicit websites. The probe was restarted after teachers came forward with cell phone images appearing to verify Halas’ participation.

According to the Associated Press, no students appeared in the video, which was apparently produced before she became a teacher in Oxnard in 2009.

School district trustees voted unanimously to dismiss Halas, the board president said.

Superintendent Jeff Chancer told KTLA-TV there was no realistic way Halas could return to the classroom.

“If she were to return to our school district, it would be a disruption to the education and the children’s learning in our schools,” Chancer said.

According to the AP, the district sent a letter to parents asking that their children not search for the Halas’ image on online sex sites.

“I saw parts of the video,” Chancer said last month. “It’s hardcore pornography.”

Halas has 30 days to appeal her firing.

So society gives this woman h*ll because she is a porn star, they tell her to better her life, so she goes to college and becomes a teacher and then gets fired and chastised for her past, after bettering herself. I hate my country and what it has become and wish an earthquake would take California and DC out into the ocean.

I guess Oxnard is content with strawberry harvesting as their primary income source.

So what? She did nothing illegal so give her her job back.

However, If I was one of her middle school students I might find concentrating difficult.

I’m sure someday Calyfornicate will start a school that will smoke maryjane in the morning, have prostitutes as teachers and have opportunities for other immoral acts in the afternoon, so just hang in their toots.

So it only takes a teacher from being in a Porn to be fired in CA??? Maybe not in NY, They could film the PORN in the classroom in front of all the students and Randi Weingarten would get them a bonus.

Does a employer have the right to fire you for what you did before you became an employee?

While distasteful as it is (and I believe morally wrong my self) and I’m not standing up for the life style, I cannot help but wonder: How much of a reach should a employer have in administering work place social justice in one’s privates life?

People are capable of change and go on to do great things.

Many professional woman have worked in strip clubs to pay for their way thru college as an example. Should they be fired now also for what they did before they got a good professional job?

And where were the parents when their kids were surfing porn and found this info?

I would think being in a porn film would be a job requirement in CA, they have elected a bunch of prostitutes to congress….prostituted themselves to their pimp leader, master O.

If it had been a GAY porn film, the teacher never would have been fired, but would have been promoted instead.

I’m not sure there is any reason to fire this woman. She participated in this film prior to becoming a teacher, not while working – does this mean that something stupid you did before you are in your current job can get you fired even if it is legal and happened years before you were hired by your current employer? think about it. If needs be, then transfer her or re-assign her but she should not have been fired and I think she will win if she appeals.

Movies last forever. So do porn pictures. Most teachers and some other professions sign a morals clause before hiring. She should have disclosed this.

This story sounds like one of these “cases” which will go to court and get laws changed. For example, new laws will state schools cannot have any kind of moral clauses in their contracts. And while there are many people who will applaud this, when is the general population going to wake up and realize that none of these sex stories are what they seem. Many seem okay with the idea a teacher has an undisclosed porno making background. Would they think this was okay if this was a male teacher who made porno films about necrophilia or beastiality?
THE SEXUAL REVOLUTION WAS A HOAX. It was not about men being able to access all the porn they want. It is about decriminalizing RAPE against children, women, men, the deceased and animals. Alfred Kinsey used his fraudulent research and then traveled around the country to lobby for lesser penalties for violent crimes. Wake up and stop defending the very evil which is shortly coming to get you and your kids. Don’t you ever notice how women and children have no rights against sexual attack in certain areas of the world? Ever notice how many laws in this country are being made to make America more and more like a third world country?
