Keith Olbermann Hits Back at Kimmel’s Cracks: ‘Reminds Me of O’Reilly’

Keith Olbermann apparently didn’t take too kindly to Jimmy Kimmel’s ribbing of him during the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner Saturday, hitting back at the comedian’s digs afterward on Twitter.

Kimmel had joked that he’d “like everyone to look under your seats, under each one you will find a copy of Keith Olbermann’s resume.”

“Is Keith here tonight? Limo wouldn’t pick him up?” Kimmel asked — a reference to the former Current TV host’s reported complaints about his drivers. “The thing about Keith Olbermann is, he’s so likeable. Al Gore launched Current TV in 2005 and it took off like a North Korean rocket. To be honest I didn’t even know Current TV was still on the air, but then I don’t get channel 1,000,000.”

In response, Olbermann tweeted: “Funny that Jimmy Kimmel ripped me after his people desperately wanted me to fly to LA to be on his show this past Wednesday.”

He added minutes later, “I’m not complaining about the Kimmel jokes — I’m fair game. I’m complaining about the revenge element. It reminds me of O’Reilly.”

Olbermann you idiot. If you’re “fair game,” that means by definition that you’re not supposed to whine about a harmless joke and send out your idiot retaliatory tweets. I had never even heard of Current TV until Oberman felt the need to prove to the world that he was, in fact, a graduate from some ivy league school. I kind of remember him as some wanna-be on ESPN about a million years ago. I’m surprised Kimmel exerted the effort to mention his name at all…

Olbermann’s ego knows no bounds. He assumes that Kimmel’s jokes were revenge for him not appearing on Kimmel’s show, when, in reality, Kimmel was making fun of Olbermann because Olbermann is an unlikeable jerk with a huge ego. Get over yourself!

Olbermann needs to learn how to take a joke! He’s made himself one of the easiest people in t.v. to make fun of! He’s been fired from more jobs than people can keep count of and everyone he’s worked with seems to agree that he’s a jerk to with. The comment about O’Reilly doesn’t make any sense though. Why is it that Olbermann and people like him always pull O’Reilly into their mess? Anyone who watches the O’Reilly Factor knows that Bill gets accused of saying and doing things he NEVER SAID or DID – and he proves it! Maybe his name is just an easy one to remember? In any event, Olbermann sets himself up to be ridiculed and it seems he’s the only one who isn’t laughing!

  Obermann – once again Humor is back in America, at least for one night – until last night, SNL, and the Late Shows just picked on Conservatives – while Obama and the left were writing material all day – but knowww it was hands off!
  
  Last night – Jimmy took 4 years of some of the material that no one has touched and delivered it. The Media in the audience was stunned. In their defense – there is a slight chance that they just heard about “Fast and Furious for the first time.
  
  This was a classic last night and Jimmy could resist – he used material that has never been done before! Wow – I wished I would have watched the it! I really thought it was going to be more slobbering over Obama from the Media!
