‘Forward for Communism!’: Is Obama’s New ‘Forward’ Slogan Really a Coincidence?

By now, most have heard of the Obama campaign’s new slogan, “Forward,” and the dubious scrubbing of all references to the Marxist origins of the motto on its Wikipedia entry. During his Thursday evening broadcast, Glenn Beck reviewed the roots of President Obama’s leftwing ideology and those who have served as his inspiration — from far-left radical Frank Marshall Davis to Bill Ayers and his father, Tom. Beck’s clip is featured below. And the information that follows on the president’s new slogan is, we daresay, outrageous.

Watch below as Beck discusses Obama’s mentors as they move “forward” in achieving their goals. He notes how little is truly known about the president and how little vetting was done by the mainstream media when he first came on the scene.

But what then is so significant about the slogan, “Forward” and why would the left, in one instance, purposely choose a word that is code-speak among Marxists and then go out of its way to hide all reference to that fact later? That question remains unanswered, but circulating the Internet are a myriad Soviet and Maoist propaganda posters that provide hard-hitting insight into just how meaningful the “forward” saying truly is. As previously noted by The Blaze, the Russian word for “forward” transliterates to “vpered” — which also, not coincidentally, served as the name of Joseph Stalin’s newspaper, “Forward for Stalin.”

Between Stalin and Mao at least 70 million or more were killed. Is this the kind of “forward” thinking and moving the president truly seeks to resurrect in his slogan?

With historical proof as obvious as this available for anyone in the world to see via a rudimentary Google search, it is difficult to believe President Obama and his campaign did not know the origins and, moreover, the significance of the word “forward” when choosing their new slogan. In fact, all indications seem to point to it being a rather brazen and deliberate move.

  Thankfully we have other pacs we can support … any with a PAIR I will give to .. the RNC called the other day for a donation .. I told them that like the last election (when McLame would not stand up to Obama) — unless they show they are willing to FIGHT my money will go elsewhere.

I tell all of my friends who think they are democrats that the democrat party has been taken over by the socialist-communist progressives, but it is like talking to a wall.

  Same finding with stubborn Seattle democrats… when i try to tell democrats here how their party is now socialist and corrupt, they just immerse their heads further in their buckets of sand in fear of losing their “open minded/ intellectual” image if they were to vote for a R. “Once a democrat, always a democrat!” Washington State is a lost cause, no thanks to the Seattle metropolitan area.   This is why Colonel West is calling out Congress for the socialist that lie within. If you want to win Florida you have to have the Cuban vote along with the conservative vote.
  You get the message out to the Cubans that Obama is nothing more than a made over marxist, communist and the Cuban vote will go to Romney.
  If we could just wake up the folks in Pennsylvania and Ohio to seeing that their jobs are never coming back under this global agenda that the Socialist Progressives are pushing with Obama as their front man then we might possibly be able to turn this around.
  It will take 12 years to get us back to a free market country and another 8 to return us to the freedoms we have lost as a people.
  We are the one nation that has everything we need to be self sufficient, we don’t need other countries to survive. When we were growing closer to that under Reagan the progressive in both parties stepped up and began attacking are Constitution and our free market.
  We can produce enough oil at home to provide for our needs. We continue to see the decline in usage and the opportunity to drill in the US in order to stop importing.
  Let the Middle Eastern countries drink oil and eat sand, enough is enough.

I just watched “Meet the Robinsons” with my kids the other day – and they kept saying “keep moving forward” and at the end it shows it was a quote from Walt Disney… so the use of the word “forward” might not exactly be a nail in the communist coffin… unless Disney was a communist – which after riding the “Its a small world” ride and hearing that song over and over again – maybe? lol

Nothing that comes out of the Obama camp is a coincidence, everything they do is preplanned. Fortunately there are people like Glenn Beck and other conservative commentators that are now challenging them at every turn, doing the investigating that the MSM will not do.

Also there are us, the Americans that know and knew from the beginning that there was something wrong with Obama. Those that knew that their was too much mystery, too many unanswerd question and no real history about the man. Those like that, and I am one, of them were laughed at, ridiculed and made sport of by the MSM and even the conservative elite. Well, we are being proven right every day and now, too late, some people are starting to vet Obama.

  We do see it….I saw it in the Clinton years and warned people..sad to say George W was not much better for America,but he did make his family and friends rich…America is ready for some good leaders again….Ron Paul..would be a welcome change,but both parties seem to hate him…he is not a progressive or communist……guess I’ll have to take my Barf bag to the polls when I vote in Nov….Unless Romney chooses a good VP like Rand Paul ,.and gives me a reason to vote

This is immediatly what I thought he meant when I heard the new slogan. Obama used to have someone who was very expert at hiding these messages in his campaign speeches. Good examples include his use of Si Se Puede instead of Podemos sí as a translation of his “yes we can” slogan. The second means yes we can. The first is both a pro-socialism children’s book in spanish as well as an international socialist rallying cry and the slogan of Cesar Chavez’s United Farm Workers. Non socialist, non-hispanics thought it was just “yes we can” in spanish. The hispanic and socialist audiences got the true message.

Similarly, while running against Clinton, Obama was giving a speech to an all black crowd. He said something like “they’re trying to come in here and give you the okey doke. Ya’ll remember the okey doke. Almost everyone I have asked has no idea what that means. They seem to think its the same as okey dokey. However, ALL of the blacks, especially the older ones, know exactly what the okey doke is. It’s when the white politicians come in to pander to the black voter during primaries and then ignore them after the election.

Why is this relevant? Because it means that the current Forward slogan, is completely calculated and intentional. They figure it is safe to take the gloves off.

Now once again he “coincidentally” picks a slogan which is common in both Socialist and Communist circles.

The Democrats are just showing solidarity with their International Workers of the World buddies ! They just celebrated May Day with their OWS anti – capitalist comrades ! Guess all of Obama’s Marxist mentors and Soros’ big bucks have bought the International Package Deal . The New Deal. The New Lefty in the White House Deal. The New Democrat Party. Guess all of that anti-rich, anti-Wall Street, anti-banks, anti CEOs Obama rhetoric is just the New Version of the old ” proletariat ” rhetoric of the Lenin/ Marx dudes. Who’d have imagined 20 years ago that a stealth Commie would fly under the radar and land in the White House ! ? Oh, just ” hope ” we can ” change” that in November !

  I wonder if they will manage to get all of this real historical stuff expunged from the net? Frankly, I hope 0bama keeps this slogan. It’s as shallow and flaccid as ” Hope and Change” and will be even easier for us to create more jokes. Instead of that last slogan, we actually do know where this one is really anchored.
