CNN Host Slams MSNBC’s Treatment of Guest Who Refused to Debate ‘Non-Story’ of Romney Bullying

CNN Howard Kurtz Slams MSNBC Tamron Halls Treatment of Libertarian Author Tim Carney

With a few notable exceptions, it often seems like at any given time, you can switch on any of the major news networks and see almost exactly the same coverage from each.

However, CNN’s Howard Kurtz seemingly broke ranks on Reliable Sources Sunday, slamming MSNBC’s treatment of libertarian author Tim Carney last week.

Referring specifically to MSNBC anchor Tamron Hall– who turned off Carney’s microphone and unleashed a barrage of criticism after he refused to debate the “non-story” of Romney’s alleged bullying– Kurtz asked: “does Hall only want guests who agree with her handling of every story?”

“All the Washington Examiner’s Tim Carney did was challenge her coverage of the report on Mitt Romney’s bullying incident back in prep school,” Kurtz remarked.

He continued: “I’m sorry, it was Tamron Hall who was being insulting by silencing him…Carney was perfectly entitled to say that, in his opinion, the story was being hyped.”

In response to Kurtz’s rhetorical question, “does Hall only want guests who agree with her handling of every story?,” Newsbusters’ Noel Sheppard responded:

Actually, Howie, that’s what every MSNBC anchor wants.

Unfortunately for their viewers, management agrees with this philosophy and typically accedes to such demands.

Is Kurtz really just starting to get this?

She did exactly what she was supposed to do in order to get this piece of the propaganda out to the masses. She made her accusation and she did not allow anyone to rebutt the accuracy of the statement. So all the sheeples her was Romney was a bully in High School. So now the sheeples believe he is nothing more than a spoiled little rich kid who picked on weaker students in school.

Unlike King Hussein who was given everything that happened to him by powerful people who paid to make sure of his success. From college to the White House all he had to do was read the teleprompter. His way was paved by the progressive socialist who hope to destroy our Republic.

  If those high school students had all been armed, and the youngsters understood “stand your ground” laws; then the haircut incident would never have happened in the first place and we would not be trying to explain whether or not it was bullying (or just good-natured surprise hazing).
  
  Laws must be enacted obliging United States citizens at age 15 to own firearms (like the Swiss) and carry them at all times. Of course the citizenry would need to be NRA trained and need to be holding valid state or municipal CCW permits.

I have a friend who works at Microsoft and he says he gets sick to his stomach after a while when he comes down to the break room and on every TV is MSNBC and all of the “brainwashing” as he put it…

At least CNN is so far the left it’ll tip over like MSNBC, what a horrid network, what a waste….

  In the U.K., the talking heads are referred to as “news readers.” They, at least, acknowledge that their anchors do not do any research and are NOT reporters. We need to start referring to those we see on-camera as “readers.” Delete the word “news” for the likes of MSNBC and CNN, and you have the correct terminology for teleprompter-jockeys hosting what purports to be news programming.

  SNUFY, I agree. It is not just the main stream media news programs . It is in the comedey and drama programs as well. It has even reached home shopping. A lady named Diane Gulliman who is a fashion designer has been pushing BHO and making remarks about global warming and womens rights. Some of the movie channels are playing anti capitalism, anti Christian, anti GOP movies repeatedly. It is nearly every where we turn. God help us.

People are getting touchy, disgusted, pun-crazy, and sane. It’s wonderful.

Here in the UW Health psych ward, I, who am notoriously Tea Party, was just forced more or less to watch the Family Guy episode where the Tea Party brings down civilization and creates hell on earth. Until the last five minutes of the episode, when I decided to go on-line instead of hearing more inane propaganda. They didn’t seem to mind. Pushovers.

You see that speech at the Republican Convention in Wisconsin? I did. I did.

You have to give Kurtz a lot of credit for his willingness to challenge a fellow broadcaster’s (lack of) professionalism, and now suffer the potential ostracism from some of the left leaning media. Hopefully, his candor won’t affect his career.

This was just an opportunity for CNN to throw a competitor under the bus. I am sure they all went out for cocktails after both shows were done. Notice how the claim is still regarded as true. The silencing of the “opinion” of the guest on MSNBC is all that is being questioned.

Hall was just doing her job of protecting her boss,the Marxist POS in the white house because the ‘media’ in this country is nothing more than a propaganda machine for the Marxist in chief’s regime.

It was a non story but the obamazombie,Hall will do whatever it takes to protect her master.Real journalism died many years ago and most people calling themselves journalists today are pigs working for the regime,simple as that.

  From NPR, The New York Times, MSNBC, to the BBC…all of the major USA/ international media outlets are in the hands of the Left. One of the reasons they are attacking Murdoch for the ” hacking” allegations of the tabloid he purchased. As if ALL tabloids don’t use the same sleazy techniques ! Tabloids are sleazy . Even those owned by liberal leaning owners. BUT the Left has a corner on the media market which is primarily where the Murdoch trial, like the Zimmerman rush to arrest, was conducted. The Media Rules ! ( Soros knows . He put his big bucks into media outlets for 2012 . ) And the media today is ruled by the LEFTIES. And the Lefties want to shut down conservative media outlets.
