Rush Limbaugh Hits Critics in Acceptance Speech After His Induction Into Hall of Famous Missourians

Rush Limbaugh was inducted into the Hall of Famous Missourians alongside such eminences as George Washington Carver, Jimmy Carter, and Harry Truman yesterday. Those of you who have been following this story may recall that it caused something of a stir.

Limbaugh reacts to his bust being unveiled

Well, now you can watch Limbaugh’s speech accepting the honor. The Daily Rushbo has posted what appears to be a video shot on a smartphone of Limbaugh’s roughly 15-minute speech, given behind closed doors at the Missouri State House. Watch below if you’re curious:

Though the official speech ends about 10 minutes in, in classic Limbaugh fashion, the popular talk radio host can’t resist getting a dig in at those criticizing his induction, such as Missouri House Minority Leader Mike Talboy, a Democrat, who had called Limbaugh a “misogynistic talk show host.”

“The Speaker’s office has been under assault for wanting to do this,” Limbaugh thunders, before noting that the response was pitch perfect because the critics of his induction are “deranged.”

“Our friends on the other side of the aisle are deranged,” Limbaugh crows to laughter from the audience, before thanking the Missouri House Speaker Steven Tilley for sticking up for him.

  Not just a great speaker, His Majesty of Dittography is a god-like radio persona and he is the world’s best marketer. He has never been elected, but could run anywhere and win the presidency in a heartbeat, faster than Donald Trump even. That’s why he is so credible, loved, and trusted.

I wonder how many people truly realize just what Rush has done for this country. How many thousands or millions of people would be listening to MSNBC, thinking they were keeping up with the facts about events in this country. How much farther along would the left have been with destroying our country if Rush wasn’t out there making people aware of the truth?

No, he hasn’t done it single handedly but he was the one who paved they way for others.

Every time I listen to Rush I am walk away informed and laughing. He is always right on the money. My day just isn’t right without my daily dose of Beck, Rush and Levin.

The reason we conservatives must keep things like this a secret is because lIberals don’t have enough class to fill a thimble. You know they would have tried to disrupt this wonderful event even though conservatives would never do that to a *******. By the way charles in jail, the only ones that lost money with that crazy boycott were the morons who stopped advertizing on his show. His add rates have gone up because those idiots got him another couple million listeners, and lost millions of dollars for themselves. Believe me we all like the fact that he lives rent free in your heads. BTW one of the reasons we NEVER try to silence you is because when you speak you expose to everyone exactly who you are and we love it. God bless Rush Limbaugh and America.

  FormerDemDummy, I suspect you are a lot like me, i.e., raised Democrat, and learning [perhaps from Rush] the truth about the Dumocrap party. He taught me over 20 years ago that I’d been lied to; donks were not responsible for the civil rights law, they had fought against the law for a century, and in fact LBJ himself voted against it for the 20 years he was a senator. It was poetic justice that he had to sign civil rights into law! Thank you, Rush, for waking me up, and teaching me to use my brain for the past 20+ years!

Let me get this straight…..

The Missouri Republicans wanted a clinically obese, three times divorced, factually challenged, college dropout, convicted drug abuser, with erectile dysfunction, and major issues with women, in their Hall of Fame and it’s the Democrats who are deranged.

Congrats Rush. You are outstanding in your field. When you started, the field was covered with rocks and noxious weeds. Every year of your broadcasting, you have smashed the rocks into little pebbles and plowed & planted a crop of good wishes for all. You still have a job to do. Congratulations, Rush Limbaugh. Still the father of talk radio and one of the all time greatest of satirists. And you still can make me laugh!

I remember watching you on TV when I was young and naive and you had that fake fire behind you and your count-down clock keeping track of the time that Bill Clinton had remaining before he would be leaving office! I used to wonder why you disliked him so much. Now I know!
