Canadian Youth Lacrosse Teams Get in Massive Hockey Like Fight

While hockey fights– particularly those involving toothless Canadians– are renowned world-over for inimitable their vim and vigor, Canada’s “lacrosse fights” may soon usurp that legacy.

Buzzfeed is reporting on one of the more ridiculous sports fights to be captured on video:

I don’t know about you guys, but my favorite moment — other than when the referee tackles the dude who’s punching some other kid on the ground — comes at the end, when the two players chest-bump each other. Take pride in your accomplishments, everyone.

Also, I love the juxtaposition of the empty stands with the 1,000,000 views this video has on YouTube. In the age of the Internet, everyone can see you sucker-punch a teenager.

  People who post on this site crack me up. When there is a video of blacks acting a fool there are all kinds of racial slurs and when you get a video of all white guys acting a fool they are gay. The intelligence level of some of the people who post on this site is going in a downward direction.   I hate to break it to you people, but humans are tribal and need violence. Always have and always will. It’s actually healthy and normal for us. To deny that is to live a lie. The more that holier than thou rule makers who place themselves above everyone else and prevent violence from occurring through political correctness and the court system, the more it will find ways to seep out around the edges. Like first person shooter video games, secret fight clubs, spontaneous brawling as seen all over YouTube and many other places. Just because society as a whole has become wimpy, limp wrist-ed and effeminate doesn’t mean that human nature has changed. Either embrace it and channel it or it will embrace you when you least expect it. How brilliant and how utterly stupid humans are in every arena of life never ceases to amaze me.

I saw this video a few days ago and knew instantly that it was from Canada. They’re obsessed with fighting up there. It’s the reason the NHL is unwatchable now. Canadians need to find something better to do with their time.

Hey baddoggy you had better check your facts. It was Canada who first backed you in Afghanistan and is still there with you today. It was the Royal Canadian Navy that protected your merchant marine across the Atlantic during WW II. It was Canada that threw you out of this country and burned your White House. It was Canadian troops who were first on the ground in the gulf states after Katrina ( beating even your own). So watch your step or we will have every retired Canadian living in Florida head out to clog the interstates and bring America to her economic knees! This was just a video of a bunch of Canadian kids playing a game. If you want to have your lunch handed to you come on up and try to cut in line at Tim Hortons, you pant-load.

Made me think of the old schoolyard/playground fights before the children started being wrapped in cotton and taught diversity and no bullying and feeeelings and all the other PC bullcrap that came down the pike. Eventually, they beat the crap out of each other and move on…better sooner than later, else they end up occupying something and flinging poo.

  Badoggy, we could learn a little fiscal management from our friends to the north. Until the crisis of 2008 forced spending, they had run a balanced budget for more than 10 hears. Austerity when things are good is something we could learn, and it gave them the flexibility to react to the necessities brought on in 2008/9. Now before you tell me to move there, you should know I make my living from investment in the Canadian oil patch and spend lots of my business life in Calgary. It is a great place to do business and a very conservative province without all the social conservative baggage. And I get to see the odd hockey fight.
