Is This the ‘Greatest Political Ad Ever?’ You’ll Have to See to Believe
You probably don’t know who Jeff Barth is. But you’ll know more than you ever wanted to know about him by the time you’re done watching his latest ad.
For example: he once rode an ostrich; he lived in Washington, D.C. during MLK’s “I have a dream” speech; he lived in Germany while the Berlin wall was going up; he “learned chess in Iceland;” he went to five grade schools, five high schools, and four colleges; his kids have “straight teeth;” heck, he even biked 1,000 miles through Great Britain with his church youth group.
Have you done any of that? I doubt it. And that’s why Jeff Barth is qualified to run against, and beat, Republican Kristi Noem in South Dakota for a U.S. House seat. Or so he says.
Let’s let Jeff take you on a stroll down his dirt road and show you how great he is using a myriad of props:
Take the full, nearly-five-minute walk with Jeff in his campaign video — you’ll even learn where he used to work, what he once did when he got a pay raise, and even how his chess team did last year:
We think Jeff is a Democrat (at least that’s what he alludes to in the video). His website doesn’t offer much clarification — but it does remind you that he’s been to a lot of schools.
Hot Air wonders if it’s the greatest political ad ever. What do you think?
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Posted on May 25, 2012 at 4:18pmContradiction. He´s trying to present himself as “Joe Blow, Average Citizen” yet spends the entire ad talking about what an exotic and unusual life he has led. Instead of “I lived in Iceland” it was “I learned chess in Iceland.” Other than say “I got things done as a country commissioner (in Podunk)” without listing any of those things, he hasn´t said anything.
Good ad but this guy would be lost in space in any legislative body.

This means that delegates cannot be bound to vote for any candidate for the nomination for President, Vice President, etc…
Ron Paul will win the nomination. He has the number of supporters as delegates and supporters that are poised to become delegates, right now. The question at this poiint is, how many more over 1144 will he have? They will all vote for Paul on the first round.

Yes, because when Obama goes on vacation he leaves Bernie, the janitor with the lazy eye, in charge. Anyhow I’ve posted the stats before (don’t feel like looking them up again, I’m sure you could find them if you looked) that show Bush took more vacation days then Obama. I know Conservative news outlets give misinformation about this subject, just like they do with Obama and spending (in reality his spending has been the lowest since Eisenhower), his lack of backbone with terrorists (in reality he’s increased the number of drone attacks, re-started the search for bin Laden that Bush had put a stop too, had bin Laden whacked, etc), that he’s weak in illegal immigration (in reality he is deporting illegals at a faster rate than Bush and he increased the size of the border patrol from the Bush era).
Here’s a link to an article about Obama’s low spending contrary to being labelled as a big spender:

You either intentionally spread lies, or you’re naive. Bush had more vacation days? Probably. But do you remember how his whole office moved to Waco, along with the media? Do you remember the press conferences from his home, the world leaders who visited? Bush worked on those “vacations”. Do you see the same for Obama? Obama works 9-4 on a regular day, and spends more hours traveling on Air Force I then he does at the office. There are no world leaders or press conferences from his home. When he goes on vacation he doesn’t work. Of course, he doesn’t work even when he’s not on vacation….he campaigns. As far as his spending goes…..your link is garbage, as is this whole line of bull. This whole campaign to make it look as if Obama is frugal leaves out all of his 2009 spending. It’s a lie, like everything liberals touch. VanceUpperCut doesn’t take the time to fact check the (liberal) fact checkers! Try reading a bit more, from various sources, and have an open mind. Isn’t that what liberals claim they do anyway? Please don’t tell us it ain’t true!! Obama and the Democrat controlled Congress of 2006-2010 (2007 to early 2011) have been spending like drunken sailors and playing the blame game ever since. Bush and the Republican Congresses were not saints when it came to spending but they’re looking more and more like paupers in comparison. At this rate, imagine how good Bush’s years would look by 2016 with four more years of Obama and Democrat spending. Vance’s upper cut here turned out to be a swing and a miss.

Annualized growth of federal spending from the Reagan years up to now. See how Obama has the lowest number (1.4%), and the next two lowest periods were Clinton’s two terms (3.2% and 3.9 % respectively)? Did you also notice the two periods of largest increase were Reagans’ first term (8.7%) and Bush II’s second term (8.1%). But yeah, it’s those crazy Democrats drunk with spending. The question was not whether the national debt had increased (and you’re right, it has), the question was the increase in Federal spending compared to past administrations. On the subject of the national debt, many people much more knowledgeable than me on these matters have expounded on the various reason why the nation debt has ballooned so much (though it hasn’t “doubled” under Obama, as some have claimed). What was the primary cause of the ballooning of debt? The recession that began under Bush. The economy was put into a tailspin and (surprise!) the national debt grew quickly. Here’s a graph that “shows the length of each recession in our time period, in months. It also assigns a recession to the party of the President who happened to be in the Oval Office at the time the recession started”:

The problem is that you get your information from the Far Left and they have all read Saul Alinsky’s book which is dedicated to Satan and preaches how to defeat good with evil, basically. A no win situation in the long run but does provide the illusion of superiority in the meantime. So your information will always have a tiny grain of truth with a big fat helping of distortion, disinformation and bald face lies. You choose to ally yourself with evil. It’s a crappy job, but hey, somebody has to do it. Otherwise how would truth stand out so starkly? Good luck with that. On the Congressional Budget Office (one of the sources cited in the graph showing the increase in federal spending): “The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) is a federal agency within the legislative branch of the United States government that provides economic data to Congress. The CBO was created as a nonpartisan agency by the Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act of 1974.”
The current director of the CBO is Douglas W. Elmendorf, “an American economist who is currently the Director of the Congressional Budget Office under Speaker of the House of Representatives John Boehner.”
Is this the “Far Left”?
“they have all read Saul Alinsky’s book which is dedicated to Satan and preaches how to defeat good with evil”
Hey, he stole my idea. I’m writing a book right now preaching good over evil, and I was planning on dedicating it to Satan. I think now I’ll dedicate it to Bob Saget.

Bla, bla, bla… You see, that’s exactly what I’m talking about; “On the Congressional Budget Office (ONE of the sources cited in the graph showing the increase in federal spending)” You guys always take a grain of truth and twist it until it is unrecognizable from its source and leave out important information that disproves your contentions. You people love to cite official sources that make you sound like you’re ‘all that’, but you’re not. You prove my point that the Left is full of ****- and you bore me. Who would read a book written by a boring & not very clever person like you?

Posted on May 25, 2012 at 7:35pmThere is truth in what you say. I found that his ad was interesting and entertaining. Before I can decided whether I would vote for this man I need a great deal of information. Lets stop making rude comments about this man until we learn more about him. I DON’T vote for demos because I have not found any in my State I can trust. That does not mean I will never vote for one. I don’t care if a person is a lib or conv, as long as they believe in our Constitution, Bill of Rights and our BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY. I won’t vote for baby killers, no matter what else they may be.

He told us every aspect of his life except what is important in a political ad……….
And 5 schools, 5 high schools and 4 colleges? WOW!!!! Still sounds pretty uneducated to me.

He can always organize Ostrich Rides in the park, if he can get the occupy crowd to back off enough. I seem to remember a Bill Cosby spy movie where he rod ostriches to protect every one. Can’t remember the name.

Posted on May 25, 2012 at 4:01pmSimplistically creative. Great timing. But… So, what if he shoots a gun. Will he back my right to do so? So he plays chess well. Does that mean he will be good at putting freedom in checkmate? So what if he’s lived in and traveled the world over. Does that mean he values this country’s history and uniqueness, or does it mean would know how to guide us all into a one world order? Complaining about the people in Washington in a creative way does not guarantee good thinking from the one complaining.

Total agreement!
TREEVIEW wrote, “But… So, what if he shoots a gun. Will he back my right to do so?”
Prolly not and to make matters worse he didn’t even fire the gun, it was edited in. Most likely with After Effects.
TREEVIEW wrote, “So he plays chess well. Does that mean he will be good at putting freedom in checkmate?”
Clearly, not.
TREEVIEW wrote, “So what if he’s lived in and traveled the world over. Does that mean he values this country’s history and uniqueness, or does it mean would know how to guide us all into a one world order?”
He’d prolly go with the latter.

Of course, you don’t see many PRO-Tea party ads that include and AR-15 either. Probably because if you did one, you would end up on the Southern Poverty Law Center Watch list.
