We Finally Have a Document from Obama’s College Years — Sort Of

There are many who thought this day might never come: we finally have a document from Obama’s college years. Well, sort of. Let me explain before you look.

The website Buzzfeed has unearthed a copy of a syllabus from a class Obama used to teach at, presumably, the University of Chicago. So while it’s not what many have been hoping for (transcripts from when Obama was taking classes), it is technically a document from his college years — the years he was teaching.

The syllabus is for a class called “Voting Rights” from the winter of 2002. And guess what was required reading? The Supreme Court case Bush v. Gore about the 2001 election.

You can read the syllabus below, which also includes the quite plain email address for Obama: bobama@aol.com. But don’t try and email the president at that address — I’ve already tried and it doesn’t work:

  Gee that’s weird, studying a contemporary Supreme Court decision in a law class. I thought they’d study the law of gravity or the law of diminishing returns or Murphy’s law or something. So, is this right, when they say Obama taught “law” they mean like Supreme Court decisions?

Blaming Marx for the atrocities that have been done in his name is like blaming Jesus for the atrocities that have been done in his.   VanceUppercut, not sure if you’re be sarcastic or not, but yeah, he’s misunderstood. His failure was his belief that humans posses more Christian values, such as humility and empathy than they actually do. He thought that he could create the Christian conception of Heaven here on Earth: everyone is equal, people aren’t motivated to take from others because of greed and that humans simply live happily without the richest spending their every effort to take from others. Like Christians say Heaven is like. His philosophy was to create the Christian veiw of Heaven here on Earth. He thought humans were more motivated by love than by hatred and greed.
  
  But he was simply wrong about human nature. Most human beings, although not all, are not motivated by altruism, or by the desire to help each other, at least not outside the family unit. For better or worse human beings are a product of evolution, and the values Christ taught are, at best, laid on top of a nature that is “red in tooth and claw.”
  
  And of course his rep is further devaluated by his assocition with so called “communist” countries, ones that actually aren’t communist at all. They are simply oppresive dicatorships. quite the opposite of the kind of government Marx imagined.

  If you call “voting rights” a real class then I guess you can call him a real professor but forgive me if I don’t curtsy when he walks by. This class appears to be a further way of indoctrinating college kids (big shock right?). If you take this class seriously then you probably think that our current college system is in some way good or useful, none of those things is true for those of us living in the real world. College has been a mess in the US for a while and even since the days when Obama was professing, hard though it may be to believe, it has gotten worse.

  Actually if you take Obama’s ideology he’s closest to a socialist view of the world. He wants everyone in the world to be equally miserable and give him and his friends all the power in the world to live how he sees fit and to shape the world in his image. He’s a megalomaniac at heart really.
  
  As far as Communism goes I don’t think most people understand it at all, neither Obama or Romney is into the Communism scene even though the definition does seem to change often. Communism is most closely associate with the hippies who want everyone to just get along and share everything. Why not just ask him (Obama) to supply a certified copy of his diploma’s from college? I have mine and I attach a copy to my resume. If he graduated with honors, there will be a designation on the diploma. We already know the answer, of course. Just another suggestion.

  My guess is that he did not graducate with honors. Heck, he lied on his bar application and thus they were going to revoke his law license before he gave it up. However, he did teach Constutional Law with having a law license. Of course, it was Chicago!

The thing to keep in mind about Obama is that half the country doesn’t care if he was a flunky, or is not a citizen, or is a Marxist. Why? Because he represents their warped view of what this country is to become, and the ends justify the means. That’s how leftists roll.   Direct Democracy — Look to the radicals of Occupy and the Unions of Thugs Inc, along with the DOJ under No Prosecute NBPP (intimidations, etc) and you can see what Direct Democracy truly is in the eyes of Obama.
  
  Officially it is defined as where people directly vote on legislative matters – say via a social media site soon to be dominated by the Fed’s and for Propaganda usages…this is in place of a Represenative Democracy.
