Is This The Best Marriage Proposal Lip-Dub Video Ever? (Poll)

Crazy marriage proposal videos are nothing new. Earlier this week, the Blaze featured one very shocking marriage proposal story from the wife of George Stephanopolous.  However, this one gets high marks for planning and execution. (As well as an A+ for “cuteness.”)

The Best Live Lip Dub Marriage Proposal Ever

What she got instead was the world’s first Live Lip-Dub Proposal.

And it ended well!

The Best Live Lip Dub Marriage Proposal Ever

What do you think about this proposal? Was it cheesy or brilliantly romantic? (or both)

That was fun! I think I would love being a part of such a family (& friends). Congrats to the couple. As an aside, I come from a large family & the guys kissing were probably brothers goofin’ off…. uhhh…. not in a bad way…. never mind.

I thought it was great. It took a lot of “production” to put it all together. I wish them all the happiness we have had in our 46 years together. I can’t think of anyone I would rather spend my life with except my WIFE.

I’m not sure, as silly as it was I thought maybe I agreed with the post above about it possibly being two guys just goofing off. It wasn’t a “real” kiss. At first I was icked out by it, but I got over it.

If you want to make a proposal personal and loving, you don’t film for the purpose to have a show go out to the public.

Besides, the marriage ceremony is almost always open and public; why not the proposal, too?

Err… What? So if you have a big wedding that’s not “personal and loving”? You should get married privately with no reception and no big show and absolutely NO cameras allowed?

Don’t say that’s different, because it’s not. People make a big show of important events and film them to have MEMORIES, not to show off, and a marriage proposal is as important as the wedding itself. Get a clue.

I join with the others who have, thus far, responded to DUCKY1. For me, this cutesy marriage proposal video ceased being cute when it began promoting homosexuality and marriage between same sex couples. There are two reasons that will never permit me to approve of homosexuality. First, I am a child of God who does not pick & choose which of her Heavenly Father’s commands she wishes to obey. Secondly, I am a true patriot who respects & honors each Article and Section of the Constitution of the Republic of the United States of America.

      Lord, come quickly.

So much homophobic posturing. How sad for you to take something so beautiful and turn it into your platform for hatred and fear. And Vehoae? Unless you’re stoning adulterers, protesting outside department stores that sell 50/50 shirts, and paying 50 shekels for your oxen, I suggest you withdraw your statement about picking and choosing which of God’s commands [sic] you’re gonna follow. Love, a Gay Patriot (who LOVED this video!)
