‘Creepy’: Liberals Hold Massive ‘Omming’ Ceremony Against Walker Outside WI State Capitol

Desperate times call for desperate measures. As the bizarre political situation in Wisconsin continues to unfold, it appears the Democrats — who by countless polls appear to be poised to lose the recall election — have resorted to a new tactic: omming.

Now, you’re probably wondering what in the world “omming” means. Think of it as an elevated hum of sorts — one that is typically used for religious purposes. The word “Om” is defined as follows:

“a mantric word thought to be a complete expression of Brahman and interpreted as having three sounds representing Brahma or creation, Vishnu or preservation, and Siva or destruction, or as consisting of the same three sounds, representing waking, dreams, and deep sleep, along with the following silence, which is fulfillment.”

Here’s a video in which omming — an element of many meditations — is further explained (and demonstrated):

In the case of Wisconsin, a short video clip seems to show supporters of Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett omming en masse outside of the state capitol. The event, dubbed ”Om Around the Dome,” was apparently conducted in support of efforts to push for Gov. Scott Walker’s loss in the recall race.

Video footage appears to show liberals circling the capitol building and omming in unison. Here’s a short clip of the purported ceremony that the Gateway Pundit dubbs as “creepy”:

A longer video on UStream provides some commentary and description of the omming event, which appears to have gone on for quite some time. A woman on the video can be heard asking someone to “hold hands in solidarity” and to join in the procession.

She also explains that the purpose of the omming is to highlight the fact that those circling the building want Walker out of office. Watch the extended video, below, in which progressives join hands and om until they encircle the entire building:

Another video that appears to be posted on the same evening showcases singing and festivities that occurred earlier in the night. “Which side are you on,” the protesters sing in unison (other clips are available here):

  A lot, we live here and last week a teacher in Milwaukee had a school bus take her students to go and register and they did not have to show an ID, just their class schedule, do not even know if they were old enough and they were allowed to early vote. And of course the nursing home problems,Then illegal union votes the dead will be voting. The Government Accountability Board, said that there is nothing they can do about it now. The people in this state are sick of this recall, we are all on overload and want it over, but it will be a mandate for the country. Wether you state will be controlled by the taxpayers or the unions.

Ooommming is used for peace – not radicalism. These are not liberals in the valid sense-they are radicals.. ooommming is good for your body – if you haven’t tried it don’t laugh. I’m surrounded by liberals and conservatives would be wise to stop bashing every aspect of their nutty lives.

When I go into a health food store and see signs reading “Room for rent – No Republicans” I want to Oooommmm ! Peace brother – They may be nutty but some practices are beneficial.

Today Holder and the DOJ will be ‘watching’ the elections; and then this evening when Walker has a clear win, they will challenge the votes, the system, and claim all manner of discrimination, intimidation and hate crimes have been inflicted ‘against minority voters’ while the union and occupy thugs will be allowed free reign to intimidate and harass would be Walker voters.

How can a group of people who have a specific world view be wrong about everything they believe in…?” While I am NOT a church-goer, I am a believer in Jesus Christ and as such, believe that the Holy Bible is the word of God. So, my answer to this is the following: Ecclesiastes 10:2 – “A wise man’s heart is at his right hand; but a fool’s heart at his left.”
  
  I have been pessimistic about this country’s ability to come back from the precipice of taking this country over the “Fiscal Waterfall” where we could never recover… Wisconsin was the place in the 1950′s where pubic employee unions first started corrupting the political process – I’m am now hopeful that Wisconsin can begin swinging the political pendulum back to the idea of governmental fiscal sanity. Breaking the stranglehold of the public employee unions is a step in the direction needed to save this Republic… will we take the next step – having the TEA Party candidates transform the Republican Party into the Conservative Party and cast the RINO’s out…

  Soon to be replaced by smashing store windows, police and ambulance sirens when the Left loses and takes to the streets, it’s the only way they have to react to adverse outcomes since the processing parts of their brains have been replaced with primal urges unconstrained by logic and reason.

  It’ll be these fools that will be screaming voter fraud. Even though the current polls put Walker well ahead, and I am looking forward to exit poll results. Even if those polls show a clear cut win for Walker, I still expect Eric (The Red) Holder to investigate for Republican, and Tea Party related voter fraud.

  RJJ: Remember the old ” stolen election ” cries ?? The Left has been out of control for years. They sowed these seeds years ago and am sure a new garden will soon be spouting. Hard to have a functioning republican democracy when gangsters are ” occupying ” political offices.
