Youth Tries to Seize Olympic Torch While Screaming ‘Allahu Akbar’

Passing the Olympic Torch is a logistically complicated task at the best of times, but when a random young man runs out to try to grab the torch yelling, it becomes both complicated and perilous. That is what happened in London today as a 17-year-old yelling “Allahu Akbar” (Arabic for “God is great”) ran out and tried to grab the torch.

Mercifully, the torch was not snatched, but was passed on to its next bearer and the young man was arrested. The incident was caught by the BBC, in this video, linked by the Daily Mail:

This is an ominous start to the games, I can’t recall anything happening like this in China, I don’t know if the current UK government can secure a peanut let alone the games, the expansive liberal policies in the country make it near impossible, not to mention the absolutely huge Muslim population.

  This is very scary – I feel like I’m in an alternate universe. Michelle Bachman and Louie Gohmert and others on the security council are being painted as “Islamophobes” because they are trying to stand up for our safety and have very serious and legitmate concerns about people with ties to radical Islamist groups having access to security sensitive information. We are told that Fort Hood was just “work place violence” and we find that there were numerous warning signs that were not followed up on about the shooter, indicating that he was becoming radicalized, The FBI and Homeland Security are no longer allowed to even say the words Radical Islamists or Jihadists and for sure cannot be trained on what it is, the danger of it and how to recognize it. It is easy to find the evidence of what they plan to do – they announce it all the time and yet there seem to be many who are complicet in our government, who seem to want us to be infiltrated and ultimately conquered by Islamists who won’t be shy about public excutions of the poor picked on gay folks who want to get married and have everyone cheer. It’s just crazy – they are so worried about the Christians, who may tell you you are going to hell, but won’t send you there personally like a radical Muslim who abides by Sharia. I sure hope people wake up – I hope the truth really gets out there to vindicate Michelle Bachman and the others trying to raise the alarm and save us before it is too late.

In a weird kind of way, this video made my day. Did you see those two guys running next to her – the brought the crazy SOB down? I mean they just took him down. The guy couldn’t even fight them back. That was way cool!! Take that you crazy…#$@#$@#

Security did a pretty good job at protecting the torch bearer. Good thing the guy wasn’t wearing a bomb.
Even though the perp reached her, security took him down quick, and moved her out of harms’ way.

  England was already more or less a police state before the Olympics. Every corner of London I’ve been on in the last 10 years has been filled with cameras, at least 4 to a corner, so 16 to a city block. Frightening. Worse, most Londoners will blither on about how it’s great and that they so appreciate the “protect”, etc. I find it difficult, some days, to consider that half my family is from London (though I was born as an American).

How many more examples of the danger these islamic extremists present will be necessary for obama and his cronies to realize the problem? The brits have made it lawful for the govt to enter your home and place weapons on it or in it or occupy it for any reason……why are we going down the same road? Is that not why we fought the British 230 years ago….the freedom to live as we wanted without the govt controlling our lives? The problem is growing right before our eyes yet people turn their heads………. you will soon wake up and have to ask if you can turn your head….think about that for a moment….

  Because the possibility of it actually happening exists. To deny that possibility demonstrates how oblivious you are to that truth.
  
  Since it’s in London, I’d say the chances are very high. The Muslim population in the UK and surrounding areas is sickeningly huge now. And with the governments there giving into Sharia Law, to say it won’t happen would be almost foolish.
