This Is an Olympic Wrestler Picking Up Michelle Obama

First lady Michelle Obama got an unexpected boost during her visit with Team USA on Friday — literally. Olympic wrestler Elena Pirozhkova picked her up.

The 5-foot-5  wrestler said she wanted to do something different to greet the first lady as she made the rounds through the team’s training center in London.

“I thought I can’t just hug her like everybody else,” Pirozhkova said, according to USA Today.

And that’s how she ended up hoisting the president’s wife into the air.

“I hugged her, and then I asked her if I could pick her up. I think she was nervous. I went slow. I just picked her up. I wanted to ask her permission. There was security all around. And she gave it. I will only meet her once. I wanted to do something different,” Pirozhkova said.

Teammate Clarissa Chun captured the moment on camera, posting the photo on Twitter with the caption: “Elena picked up the First lady.”

      My exact thoughts. If a citizen is guilty of damaging federal property by getting into a fist fight at a bar with an active duty vet, how is Michelle not guilty of damaging federal property? (tongue in cheek)

      People might have a better take on this woman if she’s always loved.. or even liked her country. Not just a recent revelation when her husband “the HMFIC” took the reigns of personal destruction and America remaking. Can’t begin to think her life has been all that bad. Now if her name was say Harriet Tubman or someone like that… she may have a leg to stand on.

      We just do not like ineligibles in our White House who seem to denigrate the Office of President every time we turn on the TV or computer. These people belong in some small time job in Kenya or Indonesia somewhere and not here trying to make the Office of the President look like just any Joe Blow belongs there.     I am probably going to get a bunch of flack for this post, but…

    Too many of these posts read like something people on the left would post. Conservatives owe it to themselves and everyone else to be better than the left. Using this kind of speech, while it might be funny in a mean-spirited way, isn’t living up to the principle of “do unto others” that we would like to see from the other side.

    I believe this is the worst President America has ever had… but we are better as people and should try to reflect it whenever possible.

      If they had used a crane we could have understood this, but to put that on that short woman, though she is buffed is just plain mean. We want to take care of the athletes. We have no one but them, any more to represent this country or even other countries for all the leaders want to play war, golf and basketball and make pink slime for the public to eat. We are like a bunch of lost children whose daddy abandoned us. This, what should be the “father” of this country, is an inteloper and our uncles in Congress are sitting on their booty? and will not make this jackazz leave our White House. This man in office is no kin to America and is no friend to America and his wife does have a big, big booty and is an angry black woman who thinks she is supposed to be somebody because she is wife to the inteloper. He needs to take his limp wrist out of our White House and she needs to take her big booty with him. She is the first inteloper lady and he the foreign limp wrist. Many of us resent them and our uncles in Congress who are not doing their job. This is a sickening thing to have happened to our country.

    Let us boycott the Olympic games. All of this “competition” and “individual achievement” makes me want to throw up. I hate them I tell you. The worst part is the medal ceremonies with the “individual winners” elevated above everyone else. What, is this some kind of Kapitalistic propaganda???? They didn’t win that, “somebody else made that happen!” They didn’t build the gyms, pools and the running tracks. They merely benefited from what we have built for them. It’s time to end this talk of “individual achievement”. Dear Leader should go immediately to London and attend each and every ceremony and point out that “Somebody else made that happen!” If something isn’t done soon, there’s no telling what might happen.

      Try to imagine that scene with Barbara or Laura Bush. Impossible, can’t do it. They had way too much class, sophistication and respect for their husbands’ jobs a leaders of the Free World.

      Somewhere out there is a photo array comparing Laura Bush and Michelle Obama getting off of Air Force One; guess which one looks like she’s heading to the 7-11 for a pack of smokes and some lottery tickets.
