Mob of Teens Reportedly Steals $3,000 Worth of ‘Nudie’ Jeans From Chicago Store

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel has been talking a lot about “Chicago values” recently, saying, for instance, that they are not in line with Chick-Fil-A because the company’s president believes in traditional marriage.

Earlier this month, in a heartfelt plea to clean up the city, Emanuel told the city’s “gang bangers” to “take [their] stuff to the alley” and to “stay away from the kids.”

“And it is about values,” Emaneul elaborated. “Who raised you? How were you raised? And I don’t buy this case where people say they don’t have values. They do have values– they have the wrong values.”

But what happens when the city’s teenagers are contributing to the crime rate? How do flash-mobs factor into “Chicago values”?

From the moment the teens started flooding in the door at Mildblend Supply Co. on Milwaukee Avenue around 6:40 p.m. Saturday, [store owner Luke Cho] knew something wasn’t right.

You see a group a group of teenagers walking in – or marching in – one-by-one. As you can see, it looks like it’s some kind of procession,” Cho said while reviewing the surveillance video on Sunday.

To Cho, it looked like a flash mob was about to rob the store, so he immediately locked the door.

“At least I think I kind of maybe stopped the flow a little bit, but I quickly realized something bad’s about to happen, and I alerted my staff to call 911,” Cho said.

Most of the group flocked to an corner of the store right beneath a security camera, and appeared to know exactly what they were looking for: an exclusive, expensive brand of jeans called Nudie Jeans, which average about $200 a pair. [Emphasis added]

Cho uploaded the store’s security footage to YouTube in an effort to help nab the perpetrators:

The store’s owner said that after he locked up the store, more people outside started banging on the door, presumably in an effort to get in. However, it’s difficult to know how aggressive they were without sound for the security footage.

Based on his experience, Cho predicts such “flash” robberies are likely to become more common.

“I think if they zero in on a product they want to steal, they’re going to go anywhere, and basically organize, and plan it to hit what they want,” he explained.

To top it all off, it reportedly took police about 30 minutes to arrive after Cho placed the 911 call.

Officers said they were delayed by the many street closures for Wicker Park Fest and, though they’re investigating the robbery, there were no arrests as of Sunday afternoon.

Why doesn’t there seem to be any mention of the demographics of the perpetrators? Is it not acceptable to mention that the crowd of thieves was mostly thug wannabes? Why did it take 30 minutes for the police to respond? Was it inconvenient to interrupt their donut break? Did they get called off by the leadership of the thug wannabe union?

Nudie Jeans? Alright I had to google that, so I am old! Organic Denim??? Really??? 200.00 for a pair of jeans???? Really??? This Country is in trouble, not only when thieves steal in mass groups, but when a pair of jeans goes for 200!

The black teenagers know Obama has their back. Holder dismissed the case against the New Black Panthers, and Obama just issued another royal edict establishing a special education program for African Americans, . Obama is pro-homosexuality, pro-abortion, etc. No morals.
The same thing happened in NYC when a black mayor was elected. He would not, or could not control the wild element of his constituency. He had one term. If a black person such as Allen West was elected, we would have some moral compass in this nation.

They lack common sense and they feel entitled because their great great grandfathers were slaves…as if that has anything to do with this generation. Not wanting to sound racist but, of all those people in that store only (2) appeared to be non-black. But yet, the black cimmunity seems to have a problem when it comes to showing some responsibility for there actions….or there in-actions, and they wonder why, there viewed as they are? Strange…..huh?.
Where is ALL of this “He’s good boy, he never did any thing to deserve “this or that”, yea, sure. Look, if you don’t know how to raise your children…..the State does and it starts in the Penal system, either there or in the cornors office, “folks” you better start raising your off-spring, before it gets too late. Just an observation!

  No, it doesn’t “send a message”. Remember Watts in ’65? Cleveland? Detroit? Half-a-dozen more ghettos that went up in flames because of some perceived “disrespect”? After burning down their own homes, the rioters complained that they had no place to live, and demanded that “somebody owes us a place t’live!” After Watts went up in flames, everybody seemed to think it was cool to burn down their house and get a new place they could destroy.
  
  It’s just like a spoiled batch of children — give in once, and you lose any semblance of authority. It’s like the anecdote about putting up a bird feeder. Put up the feeder, and birds show up, then start defecating all over your porch, making a racket all day long, and attacking the person who put up the feeder if it isn’t filled when they feel it necessary. The only thing to do is remove the feeder entirely, and the birds go somewhere else. I hear Somalia is a nice place to visit, or maybe Ethiopia. Any place at all,

Sorry, but i would close early if i saw them coming into my store, or move, but then they always follow. gaited/armed communities probably are the future, or live way way out in the middle of nowhere, where they will not go.
because this is not going to stop, and they will never arrest these kids.

huh?…..inner city black teenagers acting like animalistic criminals. who’d a thunk? and the black community wonders why people are moving away from city centers. they think it’s racism…morons. i live near saginaw, mi. where there is a shooting or multiple shootings every single day and a fatality or multiple fatalities every other day. the residents are trapped there because they can’t sell their homes….even in a good market who’d want a house in a war zone. buy a gun and carry it.

I have known a lot of black people in my life. We were military 22 years. In all that time we never knew kids like this. All the kids knew to do this would bring the wrath of there moms down on them.
