Sandra Fluke Talks With TheBlaze About Her Defense of Palin

Sandra Fluke comments on her defense of Sarah Palin from Russell BrandSandra Fluke found herself back in the news over the weekend when she tweeted in defense of former governor of Alaska Sarah Palin who on Saturday was the target of a crude joke by comedian Russel Brand. “Completely unacceptable remark [regarding] Palin,” Fluke’s tweet said. “Female politicians deserve to be judged on merits of their ideas only.”

TheBlaze happened to run into Fluke, a recent Georgetown law school graduate and political activist, at a Starbucks cafe in Washington, D.C., today where she appeared to be studying. She told us she didn’t have time to answer any questions but on finding herself back in the news she said she wasn’t surprised, given her political differences with Palin. “I took a consistent position regardless of political views,” she said.

Fluke used Twitter in May to call out Hustler magazine for publishing a fake sexually explicit photo of conservative commentator S.E. Cupp.

Russell Brand’s joke came during a press conference promoting a TV show. “People want to f— her don’t they?” he said. “That’s why they tolerate the other stuff… OK, that is a mad thing to say about seeing Russia out your window — but the d— don’t lie.”

Fluke became a national political figure earlier this year after radio host Rush Limbaugh called her a “slut” for advocating an increase in women’s access to birth control in front of congressional Democrats.

Correction: The original version of this story identified Fluke as a Georgetown law student. We’ve been informed that she graduated in May. The story has been updated to reflect that.

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

      Not to be trusted,

She’s just playing to the conservative crowds, it’s typical Marxist/Progressive/Liberal tactic,…. Lie, cheat or steal. What was it Pelosi said?

““When pushing open the gate failed, I was going to climb over the wall, pole vault over the wall or parachute over the wall,” if all other options failed, she said”"

How old is Miss Fluke in this story? 23 or 32 or 33? What a lying POS she is. Do you remember her age discrepancy from her college entrance application and her Congressional testimony when Nancy (Botox) Pelosi invited her/it to speak? What a joke!

Is Sandra Fluke doing what the ACLU does throwing a sop our way every now & then?

Just remember she complained about birth control not being covered by the insurance of a religious institution before she took her FABULOUS SPANISH VACATION with her boy friend who is a such a cheap flint that he wants us to pay for his fun!

$765 per person for a round trip. So the couple spent $ 1,500 minimum & that is before local transportation, restaurants & hotels.

That photo makes it look like she has cashed in on her fame. I wonder if she was having a hard time pay for contraception, or if that was a bald-faced lie? If it was the truth, it looks like it’s no longer an issue. Eddie Scarry was obviously a bit star struck, as he didn’t even think to point that out in his article. Or perhaps he was having an alternate, and far more revolting, reaction to her appearance…*gag*
