‘The Worst Economic Recovery America Has Ever Had’: New Ad Hammers Away at President’s Econ Record
The Karl Rove-founded Crossroads GPS, a 501c4 non-profit group, on Monday released a new $25 million television ad that will play in eight swing states.
“Good evening, This is the worst economic recovery America has ever had,” says CBS Evening News’ Scott Pelley at the beginning of the video.
The ad’s über-somber narration continues:
41 straight months of unemployment over 8 percent. Almost four million fewer jobs than President Obama predicted. 23 million Americans without full-time work. The results of President Obama’s failed stimulus policies.
The video concludes with Pelley again saying that this is the “worst economic recovery America has ever had.”
The ad is playing in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Michigan, North Carolina, Nevada, Ohio, and Virginia.

Posted on August 1, 2012 at 12:32pmFT.com = Financial Times 12/8/08. Obama is a globalist. A taste of the ideas doing the rounds in Obama circles is offered by a recent report from: the Managing Global Insecurity Project, whose small US advisory group includes John Podesta, Strobe Talbot and Susan Rice. The report argues for the creation of a UN high commissioner for counter-terrorist activity, a legally binding climate change agreement negotiated under the auspices of the UN and the creation of a 50,000 strong UN peacekeeping force. Once countries have pledged troops to this reserve army, the UN will have first call upon them. Also a Global Poverty Act where the US sends tax money around the world.
Then there’s this: Norman Thomas-U.S Socialist Presidental Candidate 1928-1948 ” The American people will Never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of “liberalism” they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened!”

Taxpayers are subsidizing political science majors, women’s studies majors, black studies majors, art history majors, etc. They graduate and get jobs at Starbucks (if any job at all) — and companies need machine operators but can’t find anyone. Obama’s education “investment” expertise is as spot on as his energy “investment” skills.

Posted on August 1, 2012 at 12:28pmIt’s called a bromance. Winston Smith has had a man crush on Ron Paul for quite a long time; in fact, Smith is so smitten by Paul that has closed his mind off to anything that does not directly relate to Ron Paul – but only the good stuff. Before Smith’s wife left him, she was forced into uncomfortable role-playing as Smith would have her dress like Ron Paul. Love making was done to Ron Paul speeches off of YouTube until Smith’s wife just couldn’t take it anymore gave Smith an ultimatum: Me or Ron Paul – which will it be? This was 4 years ago and Smith’s relationship with Paul has never been stronger – exchanging love letters with Ron Paul, praying to Ron Paul, sacrificing animals to Ron Paul, pillow talk with Paul about destroying the Federal Reserve, etc. Indeed, Winston Smith is the “Eva Braun” to Ron Paul’s “Adolph Hitler”.

Of course you think the economy is doing well you obviously know nothing about the subject. The markets are seemingly up because the Fed has continued pumping money into the market at a 0.1 interest rate! That right a 0.1 interest rate! Not to mention we are monetising our own debt. This system cannot last, soon interest rates will be force back up by the market and thats when even the most economic illiterate (Romney/Obama voters) will understand how bad things have really gotten.

Ok, Romney’s budget plan calls for 500 billion in cuts per year and believes he can balance the budget in 10. So we are spending between 1 to 1.6 trillion more than we taken in per year. If we go low ball on the number and just say we run 500 billion dollar deficits that leaves us in 10 years at 21+ trillion dollars in debt. Keep in mind that is with artificially low interests rates. So basically with the best possible situation we are 21 trillion in debt, still in Afghanistan, and this number also isnt including wars being expanded into Syria, Iran, and no other conflicts.
Under perfect conditions maybe we survive that. Under realistic conditions interest rates have to go up. Romney has already basically said he is going to increase the military and stop Iran from making carpets, riding camels, building energy plants for the people, or building this bomb we heard they had 10 years ago with the axis of evil speeches.
The more debt we have the more pressure there is to raise interest rates to keep the bonds selling (Greece and Spain). But Spain and Greece will look like the best economic zones in the world compared to us if the dollar is unpinned from oil. There is a lot of talk about it already and many countries like Russia, China, India, Pakistan, Iran, and a few others are already trading oil in their own currencies to each other. If the dollar is unpinned from oil, it will take a wheel barrel of cash to buy a loaf of bread.

I am not sure you understand what happens when we go bankrupt then. Maybe that is your problem QP. You dont understand what happens to us.
Bankruptcy in the United States means our military is heavily taken down. With laws that have already been signed and or supported by Obama and Romney martial law would be instituted. Guns would be taken, food would be rationed, riots, rapes, and murders would be rampant. We would eventually be forced into a global government system because our currency would be worthless. This would be the Constitution lit on fire and our rights would be null and void. Since our life styles are much greater than the average world wide citizen, they will not be brought up to our standard, we will be brought down to theirs.
You can keep your head in the sand, but its not like I am the only one saying this. Glenn Beck has been saying these same things for years.
As always QP you show your lack of understand of basic economics and a total lack of common sense. You can call me names all you like, but you cannot dispute what I and many other Ron Paul supporters post here that is why you revert to name calling like a child.
