Awkward? Ryan Lochte’s Mom Dishes on Swimmer’s Sex Life: He’s All About ‘One-Night Stands’

Ryan Lochte — the Olympic swimmer — might be a little red in the face today after his mom dished on his sex life to the “Today” show on Thursday. In an interview with Today.com, Ike Lochte said that her son is really only able to go out on one-night stands.

“He goes out on one-night stands,” she said. “He’s not able to give fully to a relationship because he’s always on the go.”

“Everything he has done has been to the max,” she added to Matt Lauer. “He’s unique, loving, and he challenges himself all the time.”

But it’s the former comments that are grabbing headlines. Especially considering what he told ESPN The Magazine this summer.

“My last Olympics, I had a girlfriend — big mistake,” Lochte told The Mag in a story about athletes hooking up in the Olympic Village. “Now I’m single, so London should be really good. I’m excited.”

And apparently mom is well aware.

  So the Olympics are all about “hooking up” now. It really has reverted to its ancient roots.
  Most of these sporting events are a joke. Two player sand volleyball? Basketball? Badminton? What did you win a gold medal in? Checkers! There are way too many silly sports in the Olympics. It waters down the prestige of the games. It needs to be trimmed waaaaay down to the basics. Track events, swimming, archery. Even gymnastics is too biased. That is subjective. You need events where victory can be measured either in time or distance. Plus because of all these numerous, numerous events, a city that hosts the games has to spend about a trillion dollars building all the sporting events. Get the Olympics back to the basics and it will be better for everyone.

If that is true that he only has one night stands, he must hate women and therefore, his mother must be the reason. She has a big mouth saying what she did so I would not be surprised and it is possible that she interferred herself on him his whole life.

Lochte’s a complete jerk. However, he’s a complete jerk who can win gold medals – and let’s face it, no one cares about your character or personal life in the Olympics as long as you can win medals.

Good representation of America’s liberal idea of freedom without restraint, an America without virtue.

Kind of where our morality is as a nation ain’t it.

She just let the playboy out of the pool and gave the world a picture of a sorry representation of U.S. of A. I guess this is why kids shouldn’t look towards the athletes as moral examples.

if her son was have as good as his ego lets him think he is, he would have not dissapointed the US in the 4 man relay…ooops. keep your toung in your mouth and be humble that you are getting what only a small percent of people get to do every 4 years…. People like him are very pathetic! We would be better with out his “pride”…. btw probably drives and “OVER SIZE” truck, why he can’t keep a girl!
