Americans must decide this November whether they want a president who understands business and job growth or one who is “divisive” and economically unsuccessful, or so says Republican Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL).
“He has divided us against each other deliberately,” said Sen. Rubio during a stump speech for Romney. “It’s the only way he thinks he can win. It has gone from ‘hope’ and ‘change’ to ‘divide and conquer.’”
“And it’s tragic in this case,” he continued, “because I can’t think of a figure in modern American history who had more good will when he was elected than this one. And he has walked away from all of it. Today, he’s just another politician in Washington, D.C., with the same old divisive ‘class warfare’ politics of the past.”
“This is not a choice between two bad people,” the senator continued, “This is a choice between a guy who has no idea what he’s doing, and a guy that does.”

Aug. 7, 2012 at 9:19pmWhy is (kitty, kitty) priebus, head of GOP unwilling to discuss sitting and resigned pub senators, adulterers and breaker of commandments?
I see no christians speaking up. No cardinals, princes of the church. Where is mcconnell, portman, rubio, other pub senators or boehner, cantor, hensarling, sessions we understand??? Maybe adultery, breaking commandments so ordinary among pubs, no big deal—is that why no one speaks up?
US republican senators, adulterers, breakers of Commandments.
How do pub christians feel about these guys, our tax dollars paying their salaries,
altho ensign resigned, vitter still sitting senator. WHOREMONGER SENATOR!!!
Louisiana Sen. David Vitter, whose telephone number was disclosed by the so-called “D.C. Madam” accused of running a prostitution ring, says he is sorry for a “serious sin” and that he has already made peace with his wife.
“This was a very serious sin in my past for which I am, of course, completely responsible,” Vitter said Monday in a printed statement. “Several years ago, I asked for and received forgiveness from God and my wife in confession and marriage counseling. Out of respect for my family, I will keep my discussion of the matter there — with God and them. But I certainly offer my deep and sincere apologies to all I have disappointed and let down in any way.”

Aug. 7, 2012 at 8:15pmYou may know that gays/lesbians as a general group are well educated for the most part and very affluent. Surely you’ve heard about all the gay millionaires at AMZN, FB, MSN, and especially AAPL, including the CEO. Likely Tim Cook is a billionaire.
What does this mean? Only that you are wasting your time, and with Appelate Courts already standing behind and saying gays cannot under the Constitution, specifically 14th Amendment, Equal Protection Clause, be denied rights of all taxpayers.
It’s only a matter of time when gay marriage will be as legal here as in Canada, UK, Spain and elsewhere. Of course, it is already legal in a number of US states, progressive ones, of course.
You have every right to your opinion, but Jesus would say, as Bible clearly indicates he did, Love your neighbor, Do unto others. Give it some thought.
You are likely unaccostomed to losing, but you can’t really think going against the courts, the billionaires and millionaires, Prime Minister Cameron and President Obama that in this instance you have even a small chance of being on the winning side. Certainly, from his commands, the side Jesus would take.

If you believe that a politicians record isn’t the most important aspect to consider then you and I will have to agree to disagree. What else do we have to go on? Their speeches? How many times in your life have you heard a politician, from any party, say one thing and shortly afterwards do the opposite? I’ve seen it countless times. So, speeches don’t mean a lot to me.
Should we assess them based on their personal appearance? Their religion? Their grades in college? Our gut feeling? None of those seem to be a very practical way to make up ones mind.
Romney not having been a legislator anywhere makes his potential Presidential actions a bit tougher to assess. In his case I have to look at his overall support of various issues. What I see makes him a Progressive, big government R who is only slightly to the right of where our President is. I find that completely unacceptable. Peace.

They are violating Americans 4th ammendment rights every day, and we’ve already seen the abuses from the TSA groping children and old ladies. Americans have been targeted by drones and killed without due process. I don’t know how much of my online communications have been tucked away by the NSA, but I assume they’re doing it based on the stories here (which I know you don’t believe) I’m not aware of HR347 being enforced yet, but it’s on the books. I don’t see much sense in going into those threads, like many do, and posting meaningless things like “He’s a socialist”, “He’s a this”, “He’s a that”, or some other drivel. If that makes someone else feel good then have at it. But it’s not for me. We all know what President Obama stands for after suffering through the last 3 1/2 years.

Aug. 7, 2012 at 8:06pmI agree completely. Rubio is a FAKE.
Trouble is – I KNEW it when I voted for him. I voted for him only because Crist and that lib were worse than Rubio was.
A REAL Cuban American who CARES about the Constitution is Ted Cruz – candidate in Texas.
I donated $250 to his campaign yesterday. I wouldn’t give a dime to Rubios.

Aug. 7, 2012 at 8:08pmQPWILLIE You ever compare the voting records of Mitt and BHO? I’ve seen his posts comparing the two and I haven’t checked it out but if what he says is true what’s the difference between the two?
I’m talking about their voting records not their rhetoric.

Aug. 7, 2012 at 8:13pmINDI: You are confused. Rubio’s family left Cuba because of Castro’s regime. Obama is the Communist . Maybe Obama could swim to Cuba where he could replace Castro whose days are numbered. Maybe that could be our win-win.

That has little to do with the big picture and the plan 0bama is in the process of carrying out. All it shows is that Romney is a moderate. A moderate while not ideal, is infinitely better than what we have now.

Obama’s voting record is public knowledge, since he was a State Legislature and U.S. Senator. However Romney was a Governor, they don’t vote on legislation.

I have to disagree with the senator on this because Barry knows exactly what he’s doing and it’s the only promise he kept,to fundamentally transform America,I believe into a communist state. He forgot to mention that little detail the first time around because that would have ensured his defeat. Not that McCain was any better he’s a progressive just like Barry.

Aug. 7, 2012 at 7:21pmobama was the big “feel good” candidate…..blacks felt good because a black man finally made it to the top, whites felt good because they could finally throw off the shroud of racism by voting for him……..that was the ploy all along….. and many americans fell for it hook, line and sinker.
look where that has got us…..this man was elected with out ever being vetted. no one ever brought up his senate voting record……no one ever brought up the fact that he literally came from nowhere…….no one seemed to think any of this was even a little strange.
hope and change….. yeah right!!
