Love makes us do crazy things. Unfortunately for one Playboy Playmate, deciding to follow her heart might mean spending as many as 10 years behind bars.

On Friday, 2004 playmate Colleen Shannon, 34, was arrested after she reportedly tried to smuggle a man believed to be her boyfriend into the U.S. from Canada. She was released on bond on Friday night after police charged her with “bringing in and harboring aliens” — constituting a violation of a federal statute, the New York Daily News reports.

She faces ten years in prison if convicted. U.S. Customs and Border Protection made the arrest.

And just in case you ever wondered, this is what a Playboy playmate’s mug shot looks like:

The Daily Mail was even kind enough to include Shannon’s measurements and a list of her turn-ons:

Shannon – whose measurements are 34-25-34 – now works as a nightclub DJ and is referred to as the “world’s sexiest DJ.”

She can probably add “world’s sexiest convict” on to her list of accolades.

According to her 2004 Playboy profile, Shannon – who is from Alaska, is turned-on by ‘positivity and supportiveness’ while turn-offs include negativity and a bad kisser.

On that profile, she writes: “Everyone is put here to do something. Your subconscious tells you the things that you love to do, but a lot of people put those things aside.”

“I think if you stick to things you love, nine times out of ten, circumstances are going to go your way and you will live a happy life.”

The New York Daily News reports that Shannon “has graced the covers of Krown, K Kandy, Vintash, FHM, Bella Petite, L.A. Direct and Model. She also posed for a centerfold spread for Maxim- Czech Republic.”

I don’t think she’d be in any trouble if she were bringing in a Mexican,Muslim or Lesbian but we sure got to watch out for Canadians they steal our bacon..

  Olddog- It only says she was trying to bring him here from Canada…not, that he was Canadian…I mean, according Justin B-it is the greatest country ever (even though he would still be a no one if he relied on the big music guys there ..) so why would a Canadian want to come here ??? You gotta remember Olddog- Canada has somewhat lax laws on visas…many from middle east and south america find easier to get a visa to Canada and then guess what …they come down here because the Canada-USA border is even easier then the south to cross !!

  OldDog nails it here: not that I agree with her action of smuggling in any ‘noncitizen’, the reaction by the INS/BP is rediculous. They have to go for the low hanging fruit because they’re afraid of offending the Black House cabal.

  She should have smuggled him in from Mexico to California. Then the state would have given him a free apartment, $2,500 a month in food stamps, a free car, free cable, and a free cell phone. She would have received a medal for importing an alien into California and helping further ruin their state. I guess she just picked the wrong area to enter the US from. Even with 50 lbs of make-up on, she’s still ****-ugly. She’s actually better looking without it.

Woman who need very little make-up to look pretty are the most beautiful. This girl needs very little make-up, but she seems to be a true “blonde.” Smuggling someone cross borders isn’t smart. Too bad it wasn’t the southern border, they seem to have orders to let as many brown people in as they can.

I kind of like the 3rd mug shot, very “Elegant”.

But they didn’t airbrush it, and the mug shot didn’t have staples in it, not a true Playboy “Mug Shot”.
