Chris Matthews Fawns Over Parents Barack and Michelle: ‘Close Enough to Perfect’

The question is no longer if MSNBC host Chris Matthews is in love with Barack Obama, it’s how much.

The host infamous for his “tingle” when he heard Obama speak four years ago was back singing the praises of Barack Obama on Tuesday. But this time he added a twist: he not only praised Barack, he added that the whole first family is simply “close enough to perfect.”

“There are people who root for this first lady, about two out of three of us.* They want her to make it. They want it all to work out for her. Why? Because for most of us the former Michelle Robinson has done everything right,” Matthews said.

He then used the children to explain: “Look at the kids she raised, those two girls: Sasha, Malia. They seem like perfections. They are what we want in any first family, getting good educations, being role models and seeming to deeply appreciate the honor they enjoyed living in the white house.”

He went on to say that the family has been exactly what the “founding fathers” intended them to be: examples.

“It is in this role I would argue that this family has been close enough to perfect,” he continued. “They have conducted themselves in a superlative manner. They have built in time for a parent’s first role: child rearing.”

He ended by praising the Obamas’ “exceptional presence.”

To be fair, the idea of praising Barack and Michelle as parents should be a non-controversial issue. And generally the first children are left out of the political discussion.** But this is more about a media personality fawning over a political figure and his family and dubbing them nearly “perfect.” Doesn’t that seem a little odd? Doesn’t it seem a little over-the-top?

  It seems like MSNBC hosts take turns having nervous breakdowns. One starts showing signs of mental illness beyond the norm for MSNBC. Slowly it gets worse and worse until they have to be suspended or let go. It’s just his turn.

It’s like he constantly talks them up in an effort to prolong his delusion and prevent himself from seeing the truth…and falling into despair.   It will be funny to see when Romney wins, just how terrible Romney is. Romney won’t even be able to tie his tie correctly. Then in 4 years to hear about how perfect the democrap canidate is. How he came from nothing, and is HUGELY perfect for President. My guess is there will be a tingle as well. Keep in mind the D’s only experience will be a congressional intern. But don’t worry the DNC saw a lot of promise.

When we get the “pow ha” back from these nasty freaks, we have got to keep it away from those who are getting tingles instead of reality of the laws of this nation. Why this happened is because there are so many poor quality people in seats who are there for the money and the wheelings and dealings. I hope we get people in who will investigate and run all those people off who have sold this nation out on either side.

  Andrew Jackson fired thousands of corrupt government employees. Jackson consecutively fired two men who refused his direct order to withdraw the people’s gold from the central bank. He killed the central bank but screwed the economy because he had no contingency plan. An assassin fired two guns at Jackson and both misfired. He was the first man to ever get off on an insanity plea. Romney will likely follow Jackson’s example.   What’s to like about either party? They’re both infested with progressive vermin. Because I distrust men in power, I want the Constitution to hold them in check. If they can’t govern within the confines of it, I’m going to continue to call them out on it. Especially when they overstep their authority regarding out rights. Without rights we aren’t free. If the rnc/conservatives weren’t dicks I wouldn’t bash them. If they didn’t use a BS excuse to take away my rights, I’d spend my free time fly fishing. We will see which way the twig is bent. They look twisted in knots from here. Someone give Matthews a copy of his job description. Doing a lousy job of getting our minds off the economy. Uh, obama and his woman are terrible parents (and terrible people) – remember, they don’t like being “burdened” with children and they don’t think any woman should have to suffer the ‘indentured servitude’ of motherhood. Perfect? Perfect failures perhaps – I really feel sorry for their girls – what a horrible existence they must have, knowing that they, like all children, in their parents estimation, are an unwelcome inconvenience.
