On the last day of August, the sun spit out a mass of gas controlled only by its own magnetic fields — and it was all seen by NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory.
The solar filment is described by NASA as collapsing “in a spectacular way” on Aug. 31. The observatory captured the scene in extreme ultraviolet light letting the “dramatic detail” of the event shine through.

“Long filaments like this one have been known to collapse with explosive results when they hit the stellar surface below,” according to NASA.
Watch the event for yourself:
Wired reports NOAA’s spaceweather prediction center saying this solar event would have only created a moderate geomagnetic storm on Earth.
Geomagnetic storms, while they can take out some satellite equipment if strong enough, are known also to enhance the northern lights. This video of the northern lights was taken in Alberta on Monday — the day when the storm was expected to hit Earth:

Sep. 6, 2012 at 12:09amEating or handling pork in ancient time’s was no doubt unhealthy, great advice, yup.
Stop me if I’m lying here.
What are you trying to accomplish Sur? You quote the Bible constantly yet do so only to berate and argue with Christians, mainly. Are you trying to revert us? Have you had any success at all? It appears to me that you enjoy arguing with others and have found the perfect forum. You infer that only “bad” Muslims want to destroy the Jews or commit terror on infedels, yet don’t seem to want to be a good steward of your faith towards any Christians here. What is your purpose here? To annoy? To educate? To offend? To waist our time?
The Bible answers all the questions you have asked. You simply refuse to, or are incapable of understanding salvation though grace.
You don’t understand the Bible in its true context and most likely never will.
WE GET IT. When will you?

Sep. 6, 2012 at 1:09amSooo, here’s my question. If a “good” muslim might not to to paradise for eating pork, does a “bad” muslim still go to paradise if he slays an infidel in allahs name after being shot with a squirt gun full of bacon grease?

Sep. 6, 2012 at 8:52am@ HEARTITORLEAVEIT- I have a RIGHT to post here just like you. Unless and until The Blaze blocks me from doing so I will continue to post. If that offends you maybe you should not post here anymore.
(Qur’an 2:256) There is no compulsion in religion. The right direction is henceforth distinct from error. And he who rejecteth false deities and believeth in Allah hath grasped a firm handhold which will never break. Allah is Hearer, Knower.
Matthew 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they (the Gentiles) seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
(Qur’an 2:18) Deaf, dumb, and blind, they (the unbeliever) will not return to the straight path.

Sep. 6, 2012 at 10:29amsirhan states “Those Christian love Israel, and the Israelis hate Jesus. Muslims love Jesus, and the Christians hate Muslims.”
Heartit states: All those muslims hate Israel, and Jesus was a Jew. Muslims hate everyone exept muslims, especially Jews and Christians.
