Glenn Beck: President Obama ‘Knows We Are Much Worse Off’ Than Four Years Ago
Glenn Beck on his show Tuesday argued that President Obama is well aware that Americans are worse off today than they were four years ago, but he won’t tell anyone until after the November elections.
“I know that’s quite a charge to make, but as always, let’s back it up with evidence,” Beck said.

Small stuff I know, but is it too much to ask for a professional journalist to visually proof and article? The news is migrating online; let’s make sure standards of excellence migrate with it.

LOL! It looks like you forgot to visually proof your own post! That should be “visually proof AN article.”
However, I *do* agree that the folks at The Blaze could do a MUCH better job of proofing the content. There are far too many typos and grammatical errors in the articles, IMHO.

Constitution says BOTH parents must be at least naturalized….. obama’s father was British.. regardless he is in office and needs to be removed. the most expedient way to accomplish this is to vote him out.

Is this another case of the Left conjuring up a fact to support their argument?

I suspect when Romney gets elected and the heat is off, money will come back into play and things will pick back up again. I still can’t believe how much damage to the economy this progressive has done in so short a time.. In our personal lives in the last year we have lost our health insurance, sold off assets on craigs list, cashed in retirement funds, sold off our 08 Ford 350 with the V10 that we use to pull our camper, and got a 97 F-150 with 206k on it (great little truck) we also raise chickens, sew up our old socks, etc. since I have my own business and pay unemployment on myself you would think I would be able to collect some of that when times get really tough, but nooo, lady from the state said I would have to go into the proccess of dissolving the company. Romney is the only way this country has a chance to recover, he’s not perfect but what in life is?

I believe now, after my research, that Ron Paul won the straw votes from many states but votes were concealed, hidden, conveniently lost and votes were changed to give the establishment pick their candidate that was promised the nomination four years ago by the establishment. Amazing that people are so blind to reality. Ron Paul was cheated from the nomination. I can say now that I am completely woke up. I watched the whole 1st video and found it extremely disturbing. I always thought the delegates were bound to vote according to their state’s rules (either proportionally or as a whole, depending on whether the state is a winner take all or by percentage). What I found most disturbing was the vote sounded even to me, and should have gone to a hand count. then to see the phone video of the teleprompter and discover the whole thing was scripted? Now I understand why the Tea Party is so upset. But it could be because they didn’t want Romney, so they’re fixing it for next time. I don’t know. I just pray every day for our country.

The wait is about 9 months, which is much better than 12 months. The down side is that you don’t get to pick your color. The most popular colors are military green and red of course. Usually the only ones they deliver before 9 months have some kind of defects, but they are minor and YUGO provides a lot of free but expensive maintenance programs. On a good day or month, your will have the best technicians, if available, making sure your 2002 YUGO is as good as new* (new is a very relative term but usually refers to the new as in, “We just made a new 2002 YUGO.”)

I have seen the Republican Party violate federal law to get what they want, why do you think this is? I have seen the Republican Party make rules that keep the individual vote worthless, Why do you think this is?
We already have a President who thinks the Constitution is full of negative Liberties, but we turn to a candidate for President who does all the things above, Why do you think this is? I believe that Americans have lost their way. I think that Americans have been lulled into an idea that Party is the end all for everything in their lives. Why don’t we put aside party lines and be Americans first? What is wrong with that? Why do we HAVE to vote in Republicans or Democrats? Have they done that good of a job on either side to this point? Both have brought us to the brink of destruction. Isn’t there a better way? Search your soul, even though that is hard to do. I have been through many elections over the last 36 years as a Republican, but never dreamed that a Republican would strip the voting rights of ALL voters from EVERY state and have the people behind him. Through my years of voting, I have talked to many people, and I have heard time and time again that politicians are liars, they say one thing and do another, they give campaign promises but never follow through. This has always been the truth. I have heard people say, why can’t we get a politician that speaks the truth, means what he/she says? You all have to admit that you have uttered the same words. We had a candidate that told the truth so much, that he was marginalized because of the truths he said. None of you want to hear the truth, because the truth is harsh. We took the only politician that was truthful and we trashed him to irrelevancy. We have become our own enemies. We should be ashamed of ourselves. Now we face an eternity of our vote being meaningless, because we were so afraid of one man getting another term as President that we are trying to elect another man that is the same. Shame on us. We are our worst enemies as we just watch the TV and believe everything that comes out of it. We deserve what we are about to get. This is my last post. Buy rice, sugar, salt, dried beans (great protein) grains and above all have water on hand because you can only survive a few days without that. Fill old water bottles, milk cartons, and whatever other safe closed containers you can find.
Look at New Orleans pretend Isaac is heading your way and you can’t leave. Have blankets, clothes candles, and charcoal handy. If the power goes out, and you have any frozen meat, be prepared to grill it to a good char to help preseve it.
Try to have at least a 60 day supply of all prescription medicines, if possible. Have aspirin, rubbing alcohol or hand sanitizer, and a box of baking soda for hygiene. Have batteries handy, and a solar charger if you can afford it. Matches, bic lighters, and other sources of fire can help cook food, and keep you warm.
Store brand canned meat products are inexpensive, and you can taste some beforehand to make sure they are palatable.
If you have go out and find this stuff in a national emergency, you may not be able to….Remember, think Katrina and Isaac.
Hopefully you will never need this stuff, and will be able to donate it to charity later. And if you do need it, hopefully long term survival strategies will emerge once the initial shock wears off.
Above all—
Keep your head when all about you are losing theirs. Panic can kill you, but you will have the advantage of knowing exactly what happened and how it happened, and you will survive this.

Sorry to shatter your conservative right wing dream that everyone is worse off then they were in 2008.
@PAPA
What is Romney offering?
He wants to balance the budget and reduce the deficit?
How does he plan on doing that you might ask?
By cutting spending, to spend on tax cuts for the wealthy(neither Romney or Ryan deny this) and increasing defense spending.
There’s a reason why Paul Ryan’s budget didn’t balance the debt until 2040, it’s because they have no interest in balancing the budget, just like Obama.
They are the living off of Reaganomics that “if we keep giving the rich tons and tons of money, it will eventually flow downward.” Face it, Reagan wasn’t some fiscal hawk. Hell even Cheney said in 2002, “Reagan proved deficits don’t matter”
If you want to argue Obama is doing nothing to help that, that’s fine but to somehow argue that Romney and Ryan are going to do a better job on it is ridiculous.
Romney and Ryan will do nothing more on inflation and housing prices then Obama has. Those things are outside the control of the President and have to do more with a flawed monetary policy then anything else.
It sounds as if you’re rooting for Ron Paul not Romney/Ryan

Where to begin.
“By cutting spending, to spend on tax cuts for the wealthy(neither Romney or Ryan deny this) and increasing defense spending”.
This is a language trick often used by Democrats. Don’t misunderstand they all use similar tricks. Although you are the author of this line someone else came up with it long ago. A tax cut, or in this case, current tax rates, is not an expenditure. This assumes that THEIR money never was theirs. The notion of a cut in spending to “spend” on tax cuts for anyone is absurd, really absurd. The mistake is thinking spending and revenue is linear. Democrats know this but it’s the heart of their emotionally charged platform. They know people don’t want or have time to understand macro economics.
It’s simple; lower taxes on middle to upper income and revenue will increase. It happened during the Bush years. Record revenues. And unfortunately, record spending, mostly in defense.
Now for the hard, hard truth. There is only one tax bracket that can be mined for more revenue and that’s the lower middle earners. Why? Because they are the largest tax bracket. You can raise taxes on the upper income earners but it’s just not going to give you much of an increase simply because they are the smallest bracket. Best not taken and give them an environment to invest.
Quite frankly, we only have one bullet left and that’s cut spending and lower taxes even more for EVERYONE.

“There‘s a reason why Paul Ryan’s budget didn’t balance the debt until 2040, it’s because they have no interest in balancing the budget, just like Obama”.
Debt and deficit are two different things. The deficit is the shortfall in a fiscal year which is running a little over a trillion dollars. Current revenue, see http://usdebtclock.org, covers social security, medicare and defense and that’s it. Eliminate all other Federal spending and you still have a deficit. This is only going to get worse. Obamacare plus the aging baby boom population means more entitlement spending. At the current rate, deficits will be 2-3 trillion a year within ten years putting total debt over 30 trillion. Understand we will never make it to that point. Interest rates will go up and that payment alone will eclipse an entire years revenue….game over! To close the yearly deficit gap or just slow it down GDP would have to be in the 6-8% range. We will not get there by simply increasing taxes. Revenue must increase and that doesn’t necessarily happen by raising taxes, especially on the very people that create jobs. Democrats know this all to well: want more of something tax less. Want less, tax more. Look no further than the proverbial sin tax.
I’m not sure Romney can turn this around but he and Paul are the only ones talking about just how dire this is. We literally only have a few years to get this right. Obama is talking about spending more money.

Posted on September 5, 2012 at 5:14amYes, a third post to correct moderation’s complete misunderstanding of taxation, revenue and spending.
“They are the living off of Reaganomics that “if we keep giving the rich tons and tons of money, it will eventually flow downward.” Face it, Reagan wasn’t some fiscal hawk. Hell even Cheney said in 2002, “Reagan proved deficits don’t matter”
Again, the Government doesn’t give the rich their OWN money. The left loves for you to think that though, gives them power. Trickle down, Reaganomics or whatever you want to call it does work. It always has. IT’S SELF EVIDENT! You don’t get jobs from poor people. You can get a job from rich guy, save and start your own business and give someone else a job. The tax code has always favored/encouraged large producers even with progressives writing the code. So we have always had trickle down from the start. That’s how it’s set up. Flat tax would be better.
Cheney said deficits don’t matter….this is about math. In good times, limited, yes. Now running deficits means one step closer to financial Armageddon.
“Those things are outside the control of the President and have to do more with a flawed monetary policy then anything else”. Um, yeah. Get rid of Bernanke which Romney said he would do. But the biggest control a President has economically is leadership. Reassure the market that your not going to regulate and tax them out of business. This was Obamas biggest failure. Definitely some rough years ahead.

I don’t think you understand. “Tax cuts pay for them selves”. This statement is a misnomer. A tax cut is a CUT in taxes. There is nothing to “pay” for. It’s not, subtract hear, add hear. Again with the language trick.

Constitution says BOTH parents must be at least naturalized….. obama’s father was British.. regardless he is in office and needs to be removed. the most expedient way to accomplish this is to vote him out.
