Main Stage DNC Convention Video Rips Sarah Palin, Features Biden Saying ‘Big Fu***ng Deal’

The Democratic National Convention on Thursday kicked off its finale night with an introduction video highlighting president Obama’s accomplishments and some of the most “viral” moments of his first four years in office.

The video showed some early Obama 2008 campaign footage and drew cheers from the audience. Then, an image of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin appeared and drew mass boos and jeers from the audience.

The clip played, showing the former vice-presidential candidate making some often replayed remarks from the ’08 campaign acceptance speech:

“I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a community organizer, except that you have actual responsibilities,” Palin said to an eruption of cheers from the RNC convention in Minneapolis in 2008. She was mayor of Wasilla, Alaska (population: 9,780) from 1996 to 2002.

The video continued, showing an often mocked instance of Obama swatting a fly in an interview with CNBC. Obama, proud of himself, says to the camera “That was pretty impressive, wasn’t it?”

The last video seemed slightly ill advised and even a little offensive, especially if there was young children in the audience. The clip was of the now infamous “BFD” moment. This clip featured Vice President Joe Biden leaning over to the President upon the passage of the Affordable Care Act and saying “This is a big fu**ing deal.” The words were audible, but the expletive was loudly bleeped.

  The best I can determine, DENKAT56, is that Palin Derangement Syndrome is a chronic disease for which there is no known cure. Key symptoms include hysteria, foaming at the mouth, delusions and hallucinations when She Who Shall Not be Named is mentioned. It’s tragic, really. So sad.

WARNING! Don’t watch it! You’ll feel stupider for watching it.
Obama – so proud of swatting a fly. I did that many, many times, and even as a child I never thought to brag about it.
Next, they’ll fawn over the way he blows his nose and fight over who gets to keep the handkerchief. This is just racism in reverse – they fawn over him for nothing instead of shunning him for nothing.
