Cardinal Dolan Prays For Protection of Unborn Children at Dem Convention

Cardinal Timothy Dolan Prays For Protection of Unborn Children at DNC

Cardinal Timothy Dolan (AP)

Directly after President Barack Obama’s nomination acceptance speech at the DNC, Cardinal Timothy Dolan in his closing benediction prayed for God to protect the lives of those “waiting to be born,” seemingly lecturing Democrats whose official platform defends a woman’s right to have an abortion.

“Grant us the courage to defend life…waiting to be born, welcomed and protected,” he said. He also prayed for “life, without which no other rights are secured.”

He went on: “God grants us the right to life so we can choose liberty and happiness…We praise You for the gift of life, grant us the courage to defend it.”

Dolan was initially rejected by the Democratic National Convention but was later invited to give the closing benediction after the convention was pounded with criticism for the move.

Watch Dolan deliver the closing benediction via the Washington Free Beacon below:

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

With all due respect Cardinal, what a dummy. While at the demonic convention. just give the unborn last rights before they’re put to death, and be done with it. Most those people there (sandra fluke, babs, boxer, nancy pelosi and a cast of thousands of women, all being robbed of the reproductive rights by nasty republicans) are killers and at the least are accomplices to murder.

“So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.” Isaiah 55:11.. I believe Cardinal Dolan, a man of prayer who recognizes that being a Democrat, or pro-abortion, does not divorce these people as objects of Christ’s command to love. He seems to have a good understanding of the power of prayer and the Divine virtue of Hope. We will never know how many people, there at the convention, or on TV… who may have been, ever so slightly, touched by his words of truth. Cardinal Dolan sowed the seeds, God knows the quality of the soil, they landed in.

Here is the gist of it, the truth was given in prayer. Some souls will hear and respond, others won’t. Those who won’t respond and repent will be doing so by their own free will, which God will abide by, and righteous judgment will be meted out to their portion by their own free will. Therefore, fast and pray that those darkened souls who were present will respond to the Spirit of the Lord. It’s 3:50 AM here, insomnia once again, so might as well pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet for the conversion of those souls.

Dolan thinks he’s an adept mediator. I’m sure he’s hedging Catholic bishop’s bets by planting one foot in each camp by praying at each convention, but all he’s done is show that he’s willing to sacrifice Catholic principles by attending the godless, intrinsically evil Democrat National Convention. However, I believe that the Catholic Church must send a clear and undiluted message to Catholics in the Democratic Party that membership in that party is a direct attack on the Church’s fundamental teachings.

I believe Jesus showed us the way to live our lives. Who did he hang around with while he preached the Good News? Just the good and decent folk? No – he hung out with a whole lot of sinners and even people who would end up denying or betraying him before he died on the cross (for us all – even those people at the DNC).
Mark 4:12 so that, “‘they may be ever seeing but never perceiving, and ever hearing but never understanding; otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!’”
It’s the ‘otherwise’ part – that’s the reason that Cardinal Dolan was there. Hopefully we will all see some of those that turn their hearts and souls back to God when we, hopefully, are with God after we are finished on this earth.

Geez, some of you are so religious you are no earthly good. You’d better get your doctrine straight, or you will become useful idiots who unwittingly serve the evil that is trying to/has in good measure engulfed America.

Jesus categorically did not “hang out” with sinners. He called sinners to repent, i.e., preached the gospel to whosoever would hear, and He received all sinners who came and honestly repented: “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.” Matter of fact, Jesus spoke in parables, so the gospel would be hidden from people like the DimComs who hate God and only use Him as a means to an end. (Matt. 13; Luke 8:10)

Jesus had FELLOWSHIP with his chosen men — very intimate fellowship with three of them — and with holy women who had also cleaned up their acts. Judas was the exception, but notice Jesus called him “a devil” and Judas never partook of the Lord’s Supper. Judas himself chose not to belong. He was too busy stealing money and being a tool for Satan to have Jesus killed.

“Geez, some of you are so religious you are no earthly good. ” – What does that even mean? I was speaking in a general way when I said ‘hung out with’ – yes you’re right – he called people to repent and sin no more, and some of them even became his apostles. I meant that he went and spoke to sinners, comforted the afflicted, and afflicted the comfortable. That was my point in the first place.
But you disregard wholly Mark 14:17-19?:
When evening came, Jesus arrived with the Twelve. While they were reclining at the table eating, he said, “I tell you the truth, one of you will betray me–one who is eating with me.” They were saddened, and one by one they said to him, “Surely not I?”.

I don’t mean to start a bible quote battle at all – but surely you believe that Judas was with Jesus in the upper room?

The most extreme element at the DNC was recently wounded by the inclusion of God and Jerusalem in the platform, then the Cardinal showed up to rub salt in the wounds and further widen the rift within the Democrat party. I wonder how many democrat vote Obama lost among the fringe Democrats.

      ——-
Brethren don’t fight, but we can spar a bit if you like. :)

Yes, Judas was in the upper room eating the Passover meal, but he left and walked into the night — both literally and spiritually — before the Lord taught and celebrated Communion (breaking of the bread and drinking of the wine.) Cp. Matt. 26:23: “He who DIPPED HIS HAND WITH ME IN THE DISH” with John 13:26, 30: “That is the one for whom I shall DIP THE MORSEL and give it to him. So when He had dipped the morsel, He took and gave it to Judas…Having received the piece of bread he [Judas] then went out IMMMEDIATELY. That is an entirely different event from the breaking of bread (one whole bread representing the body). Jesus took bread, BLESSED IT and BROKE IT, and gave it TO THE DISCIPLES and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” THEN He took the cup, and GAVE THANKS, and gave it to them… (Matt. 26-29). [emphasis added]

Luke’s gospel is not a chronological narrative in other instances, so we need to put together the events based on the other three gospels. (CONT.)

You also need to read 1Cor. 11 where the Apostle Paul’s expounds on the Lord’s Supper. It announces/remembers the New Covenant in his blood (vs. 25-26), thus it can only be partaken of by believers; if you eat or drink of the Lord’s supper in an unworthy manner, you sin against his most holy sacrifice, which is why the Lord will judge/discipline you even to the point of sickness or death, to spare you from being condemned with the world (vs. 27-32).

If you understand the holiness and power of the Lord’s Supper, it will be evident to you that Jesus would not have allowed “a devil” to partake of it. He would have defiled his own sacrifice. I am not Catholic, i.e., I don’t believe in literally drinking blood (which is strictly forbidden even in the New Covenant), but the Lord’s Supper is a spiritual act with actual spiritual consequences.

      Hello to you too KRYPTONITE…
I don’t think giving a benediction (prayer) that blatantly points out the moral errors of the democratic plank as lending “credibility” to the Democratic Party.
To say that they are “dead children” is passing judgement on the final disposition of their souls, which is Jesus’s domain, as well as saying that they are incapable to receive the Truth and respond. If I were to project your position to Lot in regards to Sodom and Gomorrah, he wouldn’t even have asked God to save one soul from His wrath.
If I remember correctly, they did not want Cardinal Dolan to be there at all. But because of all the bad publicity in the lead up to the convention they thought better of it.
No disrespect taken nor given. Right judgement in regards to human righteousness is on ideas and actions but not the soul, nor who gets to hear the Truth which is the ultimate instrument to save souls.

      Please understand, John 6:55-57 (NIV):
“55 For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink. 56 Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them. 57 Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.”

      PAX,
I think TED was alluding to abortion when he used the term “dead children,” since it is the Dims who want to abort babies in the womb.

Regarding the Lord’s Supper (LS), let me put it this way: I do take the whole text literally, but the interpretation is spiritual, not physical. That’s what I meant in my comment to BALROG. Therefore, the LS is not simply symbolic to me, it’s “SPIRIT and life.” (emphasis added).

The rule of thumb to interpret a verse is to look at the whole counsel of God. Jesus explained quite clearly what he meant by his body and blood in John 6:36: “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” (CONT.)

Even if it were possible to literally eat Jesus’ body and drink his blood, it would do no good. The sacrifice on the cross was a spiritual act to redeem us from spiritual rebellion resulting in a spiritual state called “sin.” We commit sins (plural) — acts or attitudes that are contrary to God’s commandments — because we have sin (singular), i.e., a sinful nature. That is a spiritual condition. Unless the Spirit convicts you of sin (singular) you won’t even know works can’t save. You can go to whatever church, pray, confess you sins/wrongdoings and be religiously “good” and still not be saved. You have to be born again of the Spirit, because our spirits lost their communion (died) with the most Holy God when Adam sinned. All this is explained and expounded upon in Romans and Hebrews.

In re the topic of this thread, our part as human beings is to receive the good news. The Dim Party not only continues to reject the gospel, but it is now viciously opposing it because of Obama, so I do not believe in being a part of his/their ploy. To me that is being a tool. As they say, we will have to respectfully agree to disagree. Note: the vs. is John 6:63.

Aw, PAX, there you go again, wanting me to read your Catholic theology. :)

Dolan helped to deceive millions of Catholic Hispanic voters with his presence at the Convention. Its no different than the Priest who is the President of Notre Dame University covering up all the statues of Jesus so Obama would not be offended when he visited.

I begin to think that the Jews are right when they accuse the Catholic Church of knowing about the Holocaust and supporting the Nazi German Government. If Bishops support Obama’s government knowing what is happening why would they not have supported Hitler. Its all about Obama care and killing babies and many Catholics don’t care.

And yet he ultimately did go to Niveaha to spread the Word. Though he did not like doing it. Anyway we are mere humans and as humans we really have no clue whatsoever what Gods will is. All I do is believe. And I try to do what is expected of me and believe that the Will of God is sometimes hard to understand. The point I am making is that God always reaches out to those in most need of his Word. And He wants All his children to be given a chance. It is our choice whether or not to believe and it is our choice whether or not to follow.

That must have been a different crowd cheering and praising Sandra Fluke the other night.

Took God out of the platform. And openly cheering for stances which really declare abortion at any time for any reason. I wonder if the good Cardinal was there for Caroline Kennedy’s speech? She began her statement with “As a Catholic…” and then went on to support “reproductive rights,” which – well – let’s call it what it is: Abortion rights. I wish TImothy Dolan would have marched on stage and excomunicated her right then and there. Not so much for her stance (that came as no surprise to anyone, really), but for being so stupid. “As a Catholic…”??? Really?

I wasn’t alive for JFK. All that I’ve read and heard is that he was a brilliant and articulate leader. That gene must have died with him. Every other Kennedy I’ve heard speak in my life-time, falls far short of JFK’s standard. I hope we (Americans) can stop with the romantic vision of an American royal family. That’s not what this country is about. But if some people must have their royalty, can we please pick worthy family?!

“All that I’ve read and heard is that he was a brilliant and articulate leader.”

From whom did you hear such a thing? No, actually he was rather pathetic during his short presidency. Had he actually been doing well, he would still be alive today; the only reason he was in Texas was to shore up votes for the election nearly a year into the future. LBJ (his VEEP) should have been able to deliver Texas, but because of his Bay of Pigs debacle and other lackluster leadership, Kennedy couldn’t depend on him.

JFK is remembered today with such reverence and respect due to the sacrifice of his life to an assassin’s bullets – and he certainly has earned his place in history because of November 22, 1963. I like so many other Americans remember precisely where I was when I learned of his death; I watched Jack Ruby kill Oswald on live television two days later; and then saw on my B&W TV as John-John saluted his father’s casket as it rolled by (well-rehearsed, by the way, but poignant nevertheless).

Regardless, let’s try to remember the political history as it truly panned out for Kennedy. The true tragedy was that brother Robert was robbed of his chance at greatness; and thank God Edward was never given the opportunity to screw things up due to his homicidal tendencies.

Anyway, that’s how I remember the Three Kennedy’s. But then again I was only seven years old, so what did I know?

Thank you Cardinal Dolan for defending the weak , silent and defenseless, especially the children living in their mother’s womb.Thank you also for defending our first amendment right of freedom of religion from government intrusion and dictates, as this was the primary reason our country was founded. One realizes how as government gobbles our individual freedoms, they are trying to replace God with government.

Yes, thank you Cardinal Dolan. While many are disappointed in your choice to attend the convention, I say go where God sends you, to pray for friends and enemies alike, to speak truth, declare the rights of the helpless, and to encourage faith and love. May your brave act melt many hearts- and I know it took bravery to face that crowd!

Cardinal Dolan was invited to pray where God was rejected. But remember that the crowd was torn. Joseph honoured God before Pharaoh, and Daniel honoured God before Nebuchadnezzar. Let the Spirit work in their hearts.

Why should he have turned down the invitation to prayer? If they wrote his prayer for him, as a watered down appeasement, he should have declined. But these were obviously his own words, based on scripture. If his invitation was meant for pretence by some, God can still use it for good.

Freedom of religion is vanishing. We need revival, and many who are standing on the wrong side right now will find Christ before it is too late. Millions of home viewers were able to hear the wonderful prayer of Cardinal Dolan. What a privileged for him to have that opportunity! Surely, God’s Word does not return void, and many hearts may have been touched.

Also, he provided a stark contrast between God’s love and the god-of-self, which justifies abortion. May the truth about human rights and the love of Christ find a home in many hearts.

But were the Dimrats listening to the Cardinal’s prayer? The close-ups appear to show a general atmosphere of respect, but starting @3:18, the camera pans over the audience and you get a more accurate picture of what’s going on while the Cardinal is praying: people talking, laughing, checking their smartphones, their backs to the podium, etc. In other words, it was a staged ritual to them. Who do those godless souls think they’re fooling?

It is a more formal address. Like saying thee or thou instead of the

The formal word order originated in the time when last names were not common, but individuals were known by occupations or even places. For example, “John, the Smith” (or Blacksmith) eventually became “John Smith.” The same evolution occurred with Cardinals: What would have been “William, the Cardinal” would now be, with the use of family names, “William Cardinal Keeler.”

You mean there’s hope someone in that crowd decided not to vote for Obama after listening to the Cardinal’s closing prayer? Really, friend? Are you that naive? Nobody gave a **** what he said. Their unison “Amen” was akin to spitting in the face of almighty God. Why? Because EVERY Dim in that crowd will still vote for abortion activist, Barack Obama. They have all forsaken the living God to follow after a worker of iniquity, i.e., a man who does everything in his power — and he’s got a lot of it — so that the will of God is NOT done on earth as it is in heaven.

Rather, we should all be praying for Barack’s removal from office.

      kryptonite,
Jesus was that naive when He said of the men nailing him to the cross, “forgive them, for they know not what they do”. I’ll be the first to say that they can make my blood boil, but I refuse to believe that some among the deceived will not find the Lord before it is too late. That is our purpose right now, to help them find truth, to take the country back if we can, to teach all that are or would be deceived, and to strengthen the faithful. Paul killed Christians, and God was able to change his heart. I believe God may have sent the Cardinal to the party that denied God, so that His Spirit could shine light on the contrast between truth and lies, and open the eyes of many. Half the convention attendees voted for God, and half to deny God. Obviously, for some, there is an opening for truth, even if they are following the enemy right now. It is not ours to close the door in their faces if the Lord stands with the door open, calling to them.

I don’t disagree with you in principle.

Some observations: At the cross, Jesus forgave those soldiers who acted out of ignorance. Contrast that to what he told Pilate: “You could have no power at all against Me unless it had been given you from above. Therefore the one who delivered Me to you has the greater sin.”

And about Judas: “The Son of man goes indeed, according as it is written concerning him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is delivered up; it were good for that man if he had not been born.” (Matt. 26:24)

Paul, speaking of himself says: “… who before was a blasphemer and persecutor, and an insolent overbearing [man]; but mercy was shewn me because I did it ignorantly, in unbelief. (1 Tim 1:13). He also says that God’s grace towards him, “has not been in vain.” (1 Cor. 15:10).

I made two points. First, that we are extended grace, but God may give you up if you continue to knowingly and egregiously sin and rebel against him. We see that in Rom 1 and many other passages. Second: We don’t know if and when that happens, so we need to continue to preach and intercede for the unsaved. However, this event was staged by the DNC as a political ploy. Giving a “closing benediction” there was not transformative; it was mere religiosity. In fact, the good Cardinal took the opportunity to throw several not so indirect political jabs at the DNC.

Two quick final pts.: 1) Re-inserting “God-given potential” hardly constititutes “voting for God.” It’s meaningless.

      2) I agree with you that we need to reach out to individual Dims. This, however, was an official DNC event. The PARTY as such is anti-God — vehemently and actively so. They are sold out to evil. I hope you can see that. Otherwise, you will be deceived and used by them.

Paul says: “… so that no advantage would be taken of us by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his schemes (2 Cor. 2:11). It’s good advice, no matter the situation.

      kryptonite,
I’m sure we mostly agree. We know they are on the wrong side, listening to the enemy. But Cardinal Dolan’s prayer may serve an important purpose as far as I could tell. I am hopeful that there were SOME in the convention hall who voted to keep God mentioned (at least) in the platform, who are Christian, but were enticed by the lies. Could any of these awaken to truth? I don’t know, but I’m sure there was more of a mixed crowd of viewers at home.

Cardinal Dolan helped to illustrate the vast difference between these parties. He brought a message of life to a people who largely approve of killing babies. He has sparked national discussion which must leave some moderates wondering why they are Democrat.

And if we are to walk among non-believers, preaching the gospel to all nations, I have to say that the Democratic convention is as alien as it gets. And yet they invited him to pray. They didn’t give him a script. Some famous pastors praying at national events have so watered down their message for the audience- but Cardinal Dolan did not comply if he was asked. More podium time for devout Christians with worthy messages is a no brained as far as I can tell. Again, he didn’t play on their team at all- he just spoke at the game. And some might change sides, as the contrast between parties becomes more clear for anyone who hasn’t been paying attention.

      kryptonite,
I need to apologise to you in part. While I still believe the prayer was appropriate, I had a realisation this morning which I need to tell you. Our lying president who embraces God in public when it will help his image, and denounces Him through both words and action- has the audacity to pretend (when it suits him) to believe in the words that were spoken. THAT may, in fact, be why the Cardinal Dolan’s speech wasn’t edited. Obama is a chameleon- a wolf who is comfortable pulling out the sheep skin over our eyes.

But God’s Word will not return void. The Spirit will reveal hearts. Moderates, if they pay attention, can witness the Democratic party imploding upon itself, as extremists fight against the president whenever he pretends to be mainstream.

It will be very important for the Republicans to showcase that contrast. A powerful add would include clips of the convention hall rejecting God three times. Another add might show the Cardinal’s words next to Obama’s words, contrasting truth with Obama’s belief system. Show the lunacy which was the Dem convention, and their radical move to the left under Obama. Show what is under the sheep skin to expose the wolf.

Cardinal Dolan’s prayer was appropriate and showed both grace and courage. He did not play to the crowd. Now the ball is in the Rep court to expose the lies of the enemy, and the true convictions of a deceptive candidate.

      TEXAS,
I appreciate your views and respect your position. Personally, I think there is a time and place for everything (Ecclessiastes) and this was not it, being that it was inextricably tied to an evil intent. Frankly, this debate about abortion has become center stage since Obama started persecuting the Catholic Church, so I doubt that the Cardinal’s short benediction made a difference. The people who attended are devout Obamanites. My foremost and most fervent plea is for God to remove the man. He is the satanic vessel and head there, and unless he is taken out of the way — something only God can do — it will be an uphill battle to snatch those souls from the fire.

Dora, pedophiles are not only in the Catholic church. Other churches have them too, but because the Catholic Church is the largest and (people presume) the wealthiest, it gets all the attention and the blame.
And before anybody say something about the wealth of the Catholic church, it is in the museums, in the art, in the centuries old buildings, not in the safes hidden somewhere in the Vatican.

My God, these democrats are such hypocrites.

Do they really believe God will honor their prayer?

I am not including Atheists in this list. They have an excuse. They don’t know any better.

These democrats are nuts. It really is like God says. They think evil is good and good is evil.

Dem. delegates want to kill Romney.

      Live for government.

      Eliminate profits for corporations.

Limit choice to only include abortion.

Think republicans want to drown black people.

      Think Republicans are Nazis

Think Christians want to kill Jews.

      Think Obama is Jesus.

Heck, maybe even Obama thinks he is Jesus. He did say he will lower the sea and heal the planet?

      They hate Israel.

They hate God. Here I include Atheists.

What did Anderson Cooper say? DWS is in a different universe?

I think that goes for the whole spectrum of democrats.

Obama has brought such ugliness to America. Doesn’t matter where he was born. He truly brings out the worst in people. From hatred to racism, jealousy, envy, violence, greed. He can also be described as the lawless one.

I hope that God is giving America a second chance. Obama has been good for one thing. Many people are awake and more informed then ever before. He has brought to light what the left is really all about. If people still vote for Obama, the world will have to deal with the consequences.

Remember the world was also clamoring for Obama. And the world belongs to Satan.

Yep – if the baby survived the abortion, Gaybama wanted it finished. If he has no compunction about killing the truly innocent, what would an Gaybama Socio-Communist gobblement NOT do to those who won’t tow his line?

Forgive me if I cite the wrong book off the top of my head, but I believe it is the book of Deuteronomy that says…For today I have set before you a choice between life and death. I ask you to choose life.
God will always give us the choice…but bear in mind that making the wrong choice can have serious consequences later.

Like a choice between heaven and hell.

And a choice between Republicans and Democrats.

God gave us all free will. It is our responsibility to moderate our actions to reconcile with his laws. It’s not up to the Deity to police our indiscretions. Not here on earth, anyway. Thus I will pray that men and women make the right choices, and that when things to go awry that they will look at alternatives other than abortion. Peace.

Then obviously God doesn’t care that much about abortion.

Also, free will isn’t what is in question here.

I constantly hear Christians say that God knew their child before they did. That God counted the number of hairs on their children. There are stories in the Bible of supposedly barren women getting pregnant because of God.

So therefore, if God hated abortion so much he would stop giving babies who he knew would get an abortion. Therefore they wouldn’t even of had the choice to have the baby or have an abortion.

Plus, let’s not get into free will because there are tons of Christians who don’t believe in free will. Also, if everything is supposedly the will of God, then there is no free will.

Let’s also not get into God “hardening” Pharaoh’s heart. Maybe Pharaoh would’ve released them if God hadn’t of hardened his heart.

Your Bible is the antithesis of peace, love, justice and mercy.

      It’s cruelty, hatred, genocide.

Let’s not even get into the new testament where you use Jesus as a scapegoat and willingly accept a human sacrifice on your behalf for some supposed “original sin.”

I find it hilarious that a group of people can say how evil people are that we need to accept a human sacrifice but then say they’re also full of love.

Yes, abortion is murder. Before I was a Christian I did it. And I agree, I murdered my own child.
Carried a heavy load of guilt for 13 long years. I didn’t know Jesus then. Funny thing is, I always knew that it was wrong.

Now I know I will see him again. I wrote a letter to my child. Asking for his forgiveness. I can hardly wait to see him one day.

Why are you mixing apples and oranges? It’s one thing for a barren woman to ASK God in faith for a child, and something entirely different for a woman to get pregnant without prayer. The former is a miracle; the latter, the natural human reproductive act.

Who said everything is the will of God? Many of the things we do, even as Christians, are not God’s will. It is definitely not the will of God that any should perish (2 Pet. 2:9). If you go to hell, it will be your choice not his.

God hardened Pharaoh’s heart because Pharaoh hardened his heart first. That’s why it is very dangerous to reject God’s gift of salvation over and over again. A time may come when God will cease dealing with you and you’re toast. God is not a doormat, you know. All is explained more thoroughly in Rom., Ch. 1. Read it.

You bring up all kinds of unrelated points of contention every time a faith story is posted here, specifically, Jesus’ redemptive work on the cross. If you find his sacrifice disgusting, you don’t have to accept it. I, and millions of other human beings, happen to think it’s sublime. End of story.

Many times I have had the same reasoning, especially when I have learned about women that have beautiful children and decide to kill them. I always ask “why does God give children to those who don’t deserve them?” and I have to answer to myself: God gave us the Ten Commandments to follow, but He also gave us free will to decide.
For too long already mankind has gotten away from God. Not only we see it in everyday news, but also saw it this week in the DNC debate to include or exclude God.
For too long we have seen it since prayer was ousted from schools or when many in the judicial system argue about the constitutionality of the Ten Commandments. This moral rules are not about religion, they are about respect. Yes, respect to God, but also respect to one another.
When society turn its back against them the world comes to what we have seen maybe too close to comfort this week: booing God while applauding the execution of babies.
And if you look around, in the world, the farther society is from God, the closer it gets to chaos.
