Christian Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani Freed After 3 Years in Iranian Prison

The Iranian pastor who faced execution for refusing to renounce his Christian faith was freed Saturday after three years in prison in his native country, a group campaigning for his release said.
Youcef Nadarkhani, 32, had been jailed in Iran since 2009 on apostasy charges following his conversion to Christianity. His charges were lowered Saturday to evangelizing Muslims, a three-year penalty, but he was credited for time already served and released, Fox News reported.
“Today our sources in Iran reported that Pastor Youcef was acquitted of apostasy and released from prison. After languishing in prison for almost three years, he has been reunited with his family,” Jordan Sekulow, executive director of the Washington, D.C.-based American Center for Law and Justice told Fox News in a statement.
“While we are working on confirming the exact details of his release, some sources report that the court alternatively convicted Pastor Youcef of evangelizing to Muslims, sentencing him to three years and granting him time served,” he said. “Pastor Youcef’s story is an example of how the world can join together to ensure that justice is served and freedom preserved.”
Sekulow subsequently tweeted a photo of Nadarkhani surrounded by others with the caption: “Pastor Youcef #Nadarkhani greets his family as he leaves prison after 1,062 days in #Iran jail.”
ACLJ legal director Tiffany Barrans said the group praised Nadarkhani’s release, but said Iran “felt obligated to save face among its people and continue its pattern of suppressing religious freedom with intimidation tactics.”
“International attention to this matter saved this man’s life, but we must not forget the human right of freedom of religion includes the right to freedom of expression,” Barrans told Fox News.

Posted on September 8, 2012 at 11:53amThe interesting thing about an automobile is it’s like an [armor] around the driver of the car. That armor seems to protect people, and it’s an illusion of protection that so many people gobble up. That vehicle armor allows people the security to road-rage, drive fast thinking they are immune, sing to the radio without others hearing, even if you can’t carry a tune in a bucket. Sooner or later somebody road-rages thinking they are secure in themselves – getting out of their car somebody punches them right in the mouth and they go down. I guess that armor is a false sense of security causing people to become weaklings because they think that armor protects them. Sharia-law, and Burqas, Hijabs work much the same way as that [automobile armor].

WHAT TYPE OF “FAITH” kills people because they spoke of the Bible/their Faith ? REAL FAITH can’t be swayed – only CULTS. ISLAM is a CULT. The only reason they have tolerated CHURCHES in Muslim Countries now anyway is that THESE CHURCHES WERE THERE 700 Years (SEVEN HUNDRED YEARS) before their phony cult began (phony because it’s man-made using bits and pieces of Judaism and Christianity and then adding their own man made control freak rules – foisted upon the very ignorant to keep control of them)
This is good news. I think the outcry has been so huge and to execute him now would totally ruin their brother Obama’s chances.

They will jail him again. If there is a serious shooting war involving Israel, they will rearrest him & execute him quickly. People’s attention will have been diverted then. The Ayatollahs have not forgotten & forgiving is not in their vocabulary. Let’s not mention the fact that they are the ones sorely needing forgiveness.
People can only watch so many birdies.

Due to our warmongering media, they will not talk about the Iranian Christians, being that the military industrial complex would love to carpet bomb all of the middle east. It is hard to do that if you think of them as actual people, especially Christians. That is why the media is trying to reduce every Arab to a suicide bomber, just like the Nazi’s did with the Jews in ww2. For you Neocons that might read this, just ask yourself how many terrorist attacks did we have on the US before 1970?
How often has Switzerland, Sweden Japan or Portugal been attacked? The Fox War Propaganda machine tells us that the Muslims are doing it only because we are succsessfull and wealthy! If that was the case then why not attack the before mentioned countries?
The fact is that there are many churches in Iran. And there is an overwhelming amount of Iranians turning to Christ as we have seen in all the Arab countries as well as the African countries that are muslim. In Iran the officials are attempting to crack down on the house church movement due to its rapid growth and the way it takes people out of Islam, but I have not heard they are looking to crack down on the public churches. See for yourself:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkTgcFpoF3U

The iranian authorities will probably come up with other trumped up charges and imprison him if he remains in that country. There are hundreds of thousands of muslims he could evangelize in America and other countries. Prayer does work and I believe his release is the result of hundreds of thousands if not millions of prayers of Christians all over the world.

Besides the warning about changing the language, adding to, or taking away, is at the end of [The {book} of Revelation] which is in itself a [book].

Then the other came, saying, ‘Lord, here is your pound. You knew, did you, that I was a harsh man, taking what I did not deposit and reaping what I did not sow? Why then did you not put my money into the bank? Then when I returned, I could have collected it with interest.’ He said to the bystanders, ‘Take the pound from him and give it to the one who has ten pounds.’ (And they said to him, ‘Lord, he has ten pounds!’) ‘I tell you, to all those who have, more will be given; but from those who have nothing, even what they have will be taken away. But as for these enemies of mine who did not want me to be king over them– bring them here and slaughter them in my presence.’” After he had said this, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. When he had come near Bethphage and Bethany, at the place called the Mount of Olives, he sent two of the disciples, saying, “Go into the village ahead of you, and as you enter it you will find tied there a colt that has never been ridden. Untie it and bring it here.

When quoting Scripture, CONTEXT IS EVERYTHING!!!! Luke 19: 12 : “He said therefore,” (I would note here the rest is in RED Lettering for Jesus Words…”A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom and to return…” (There He proceeds to tell the parable of His soon to be ascension to Heaven to receive His Kingdom from God.)…”And it came to pass that when He was returned, having received the kingdom, THEN…” (EMPHASIS ADDED)…”HE COMMANDED THESE SERVANTS TO BE CALLED TO HIM….” (Luke 19:15) the remaining verses until verse 28 describe what will happen AT THE JUDGEMENT AFTER HIS RETURN FROM HEAVEN!!! HE DOES NOT Command His Followers to slay people before this like the Koran does!
That said, PRAISE GOD FOR THE SAFETY OF THIS PASTOR, KEEP PRAYING FOR THE [MENTALLY UNSTABLE?] 16 YEAR OLD CHRISTIAN GIRL BEING HELD!

Posted on September 8, 2012 at 10:35amAh, another example of Islamic tolerance. For it is the “religion of Peace’. I’m sure the Obama administration and DNC officials are studying this case to see why the Iraniams released this Christian. When our government does this they don’t want to make the same mistake.

Posted on September 8, 2012 at 10:33amI’m happy that Nadarkhani is out of prison, but his release is a “good-will gesture” by Ahmadinejad to make him look good in the world’s eyes before he makes his annual trip to the U.N. in a couple of weeks. But still, I’m happy for Nadarkhani and his family. They should leave Iran as fast as they can.
