Yesterday, while speaking to a crowd of Florida supporters, President Barack Obama made the unforced error of talking up a group that is apparently unpopular with a large contingent of Floridians – the Chicago Bears.

“In Illinois, there’s just one team: the Chicago Bears,” Obama said with a laugh. The crowd reacted with a series of catcalls and boos.

To be fair to the president, it’s not clear that the crowd was booing him, so much as his team.

If you are a true American, you should believe that anything is possible with hard work. America can recover from this. Agreed that it will take work and time. but I think most people, when they come down to it, are willing to do so. Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country.

Oh, and LORD, football really isn’t that important. We forgot that part about “no graven images” and just fell head over heals in love with the emotion of it all for the past forty years or so. Sort of like we did voting for satan and our own destruction in 2008. Emotion over substance. That’s us in a nutshell, LORD.

  See here old woman, you speak of Graven Images, and the Commandment says neither from Heaven, the earth, or the waters under the earth. Yet, you enjoy the symbol of the Crucifix? But, you are supposed to mark the door of your house with the crucifix, and you do not do that, no, instead you put a crucifix on the door to your home. Not home, [House].

  Or one can look at it this way: if a people will vote entitlements; if a person wants the government to do for them in any fashion that puts a heavy debt burden on your children, and grandchildren. Those being children and [grandchildren whom you can see], then how can you love the Son of God whom you can not see?

  Now the matter of truth is that the light of God that gives life to all men is divided into all men to greater or lesser amounts. Moreover, even an Atheist will do the bidding of God while not knowing that which it is they do. Even an Atheist will try to steal away your graven images, and by default move the box all the way across the room if but only for the purpose of pushing your buttons. Glenn Beck has turned completely into a pitchman for Mitt Romney through his negative runs against Obama. Mitt Romney has said he will keep parts of Obamacare, and Mitt Romney has said we need a President to put God back into America. First of all I know they will keep mandated health care, because it’s about power and saving the U.S economy. And, how exactly does someone bring God back to America, when it was that Jesus could only give someone the living waters if they were capable of receiving? What’s Mitt going to do, charge people with Heresy? We just really need an asteroid.

  Over the weekend, on Romney said “there are a number of things that I like” in the law. The Republican presidential nominee said he wants to make sure people with pre-existing conditions can still have guaranteed coverage. And he said he wants to make sure young people can stay on their parents’ plan “up to whatever age they might like” — currently, that age is 26.
