Wilkow Debuts New Show on TheBlaze TV With Guests Rand Paul and Artur Davis

TheBlaze TV’s new “Wilkow!” program staring talk radio host Andrew Wilkow got off to a fast start Monday evening, featuring interviews from Senator Rand Paul and former Congressman Artur Davis.
Wilkow told TheBlaze Monday morning that the show would go into philosophy and “past what you’re used to” from other news programs.
“We’re going to go very deep, but probably in a way that many other hosts might have lost the audience because they would have made it boring,” Wilkow told TheBlaze.
Monday’s debut began with a blistering monologue assessing the commander-in-chief on the campaign trail.
“Barack Obama is not Bill Clinton,” Wilkow said. “No matter how hard he tries, he cannot win by running on the record of his first term.”
As the show’s inaugural guest, Republican U.S. Senator from Kentucky Rand Paul joined “Wilkow!” to discuss what to expect with Congress back in session this week following summer recess. Sen. Paul’s new book ,”Government Bullies,” analyzes how regulations that are often conceived with good intentions, can spiral out of control in Washington. On “Wilkow!” Monday, Sen. Paul spoke of the fundamentally different views conservatives and liberals have on taxes, where U.S. government agencies overreach, and what worries he has for the country moving forward should President Obama be reelected.
Following Sen. Paul, Andrew was joined by 2008 Obama supporter, now Romney surrogate, former Democratic Alabama Rep. Artur Davis. On Monday’s show, Davis spoke with Wilkow about the rhetoric used by today’s Democratic Party, and the growing intolerance he sees shown by those on the left. Watch a clip below of the former congressman’s appearance on “Wilkow!”
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Posted on September 11, 2012 at 9:00amThe only reason I have XM Radio is because of Andrew Wilkow, and I’m very happy that Glenn Beck has given him this show.
He’s spot on all the time and I love his passion.
GREAT SHOW ANDREW!

Posted on September 11, 2012 at 9:44amAll of these neo-Cons would simply love to stab Rand in the back.. They are all paid mercenaries for the Jewish Apartheid!
Did anyone see the article on FOX proving that the US knew of the Katyn massacre in WW2 early on but hid it from the American people? lol Simply more proof that your gov’t is corrupt and mere puppets!
Americans back then would have demanded action and against the Soviet butchers but ole FDR hid the truth.. lol

Posted on September 11, 2012 at 11:53amI used to listen to Andrew. His contstant belittling of people based on their looks is not what a good commentator does to win an argument. He is also more self-obssesed than Obama. For these two reasons, I no longer listen to him and I will not watch him.

Posted on September 11, 2012 at 2:29amI enjoyed the show and was glad he had Rand Paul as a guest, although, I do hope he changes the theme a bit because it very similar to Glenn’s show (20 minute monologue followed by some sit down interviews).

Posted on September 11, 2012 at 2:20amTo anyone…technical issues
It may be computing environment, but…
I attempted to watch Wilkow after the show time. I could only get 5-6 minute sections. There wasn’t a continuous show as before with GBTV. This new TheBlazeTV is giving me fits about playback and show selection.
Anyone else experiencing TheBlazeTV viewing issues?

Yes and I’m hoping they’re working on it.
There is also an issue with Hugesnet satellite IP users when trying to play audio from the radio web page.

Posted on September 11, 2012 at 8:08amAbout 10:00 PM PDT on the tenth, and Wilkow didn’t start after Real News, nor would it list under categories.
5:00 AM PDT on the eleventh, and still can’t get Wilow to list under categories, or play, on my iPad.
I’ve experienced this type of trouble periodically in the past. I suspect someone has set a switch wrong in the server, or some other human error, but it’s nevertheless frustrating.

Posted on September 11, 2012 at 8:49amI too had lots of loading issues! I thought it might be because we are still having “minor” issues since Isaac here in N.O. Kept “loading” and taking a long time to do it – over 1 minute at each reload. Each reload came after about 4 minutes of play. This has happened before & I can’t figure out how to fix it! Very frustrating. I am sorry I missed the 1st show, but will gladly check it out later this week. I made it through Beck, but missed Real News & Wilkow..just too frustrating to watch.

Posted on September 11, 2012 at 1:11amIsn’t this the same guy that was consistently dissing Ron Paul? And Rand is on his first solo show?
Wonder how long it will take Rand to realize that “going along to get along” is only selling his soul and he’ll be just like the rest?
Whether you agree with him or not, at least Ron Paul has the integrity to stand firm for his convictions.

Was it “Branch Paulinians” that stung you?

Posted on September 11, 2012 at 12:34amRand & others (FreedomWorks, Tea Party) are changing a Republican Party from the inside out, is the way to go. Changing things only by yelling & screaming from the outside is like the big bad Wolfe huffing & puffing all day long when the house is made of Brick.

Posted on September 10, 2012 at 10:34pmRand Paul was telling some whoppers in his interview with Glenn Beck today. When he started to add details the stories his book has they were all misrepresentations. The reactionary summaries didn’t match the facts.
He said he put the Republicans on notice that he would not vote for a budget that would not balance in a reasonable amount of time.
How pretentious. His one vote is just that…. one vote. But somehow he thinks it counts for more.
The only acceptable amount of time to wait to submit a balanced budget is no time.
Just do it.

You constantly make supportive statements of Owebama.
Dems had the presidency, house, and senate but needed the supreme court to balance the budget?
