Limbaugh: Rahm Emanuel Manufactured Union Crisis So Obama Could Solve It

Rush Limbaugh advanced a surprising hypothesis on his radio show today regarding the motivation behind the current teachers’ union protests plaguing the Chicago area. Specifically, Limbaugh argued, the union protests were being allowed to go on as long as they have so that they could become a manufactured crisis, allowing President Barack Obama to sweep in and look like the hero by negotiating an end to the standoff.

“Why are the teachers in Chicago going on strike?” Limbaugh asked rhetorically. “So Obama can solve it as a campaign issue.”

  Teachers in Chicago already make (Not earn) $78,000 per year. Tha average mean salarys for the general working population is $48,000. And these “Teachers” want more? You know that with the healthcare package along with generous city funded retirement packages, they make a whole lot more across the board.
  
  We now have close to 400,000 children out of school and in many cases running loose throuthout the city. No one had time to plan constructive activities for these children to participate in as they do during summer vacation. Parents are literally pulling their **** out trying to find daycare or sitters for the younger kids. It is an appalling situation.
  
  It’s high time that the citizens and taxpayers of Chicago TAKE THEIR CITY AND SCHOOLS BACK! Take their city back from over abusive unions and politicians who don’t have the guts to confront the unions and in large part are funded by those same unions. They did it in Wisconsin – - – They can do it in Chicago!

  Rioting in the streets?? The boy king would have to institute Marshal Law, hence no elections. I wouldn’t put anything past these slimey weasels. The only thing they care about is their agenda, everything else is collateral damage.
  
  Why did this strike come within the first two weeks of school and why did they turn down a 13-16% pay raise? Yet why are the “lunch ladies” still feeding the kids? To gain support from parents. EVERYTHING is crafted, drafted and choreographed in this administration.

Oh gosh. Rush is spot on again. I lived through the last teachers strike. This strike makes no sense unless you add Rahmbo / Obama into the mix. Yes, the Chicago Teachers’ Union is the most corrupt union in the country. Even makes SEIU look good. Watch how this unfolds. Cant’ wait. If this is the “October Surprise”, it is lots better than Iran / Israel. Or is Obama going to use that one, too? Obama / Rahm are very dirty players. Can’t wait til November!!

Consider the fact that probably 80% of Americans never even considered that this manufactured crisis was manufactured, and you then realize why America is in a dramatic free-fall.

Even the author of this story submits “a surprising hypothesis” when describing typical, leftist schemes.

I will submit to you all that America’s best days are well behind her. We’ve got powerful leaders in this country driven by lust of power, employing third-world tactics to advance their depraved agenda. It’s all so sad.

they are striking a 16% pay raise? that’s not enough/

Yep, I think Rush is correct but the sad thing is that the only people to know are the Blaze and Rush followers. The republican establishment are too stupid to pick up on this. And none of the democratic sheep will ever know. Chicago is in the hole for billions and the teacher’s union can not except a 16% increase. The other sad thing is that most of the teachers want to teach but the union management wants to bury chicago and line their own pockets at the cost to the city and the teachers. I also think that the obozo adminesrtation creates many of our problems on purpose. Oh how stupid we are.

My first thoughts were that Rahm & Co. were complicit in this crisis. Not sure exactly what outcome they are working for, but I have no doubt this is being perpetuated in order to benefit both Rahm and the union leaders. Union members and electorate are just pawns in their giant chess game of power.

There is no way an organization that could get that horrible little ***** elected would let a “crisis” happen without a purpose behind it.

Meanwhile, the downstate electorate watches helplessly as they take our tax revenue hostage.

i have to agree with Rush, the timing of this strike is suspect. although not necessary for Obama to use to get re-elected it’s in the bag. Romney is going to make it easy for Obama if he keeps saying he likes parts of Obamacare and keeps saying Obama is a good man. this election is starting to remind me of 2008. i’m voting for Romney but i also voted for McCain last time. if Obama is re-elected my family and i will consider moving to the sticks and of course stock up even more. Obamas mission is to turn America into just another socialist nation and remove us from the world stag.diminish America.

  The public schools hate them, charter students love them.
  I know parents, who say their weekend children,
  ANXIOUSLY await Monday, so they can GO back to school!
  
  Charter schools are like the good ole’ days-
  unselfish, doting, creative teachers & curious students, EAGER to learn-
  there are endless waiting lists to get into these schools.
  
  Besides Charters, “Home-Schooling” is on the rise.
  The age of Public Education, budgets in free-fall due to the Unions’ greed
  & rising property taxes, to pay for “mis-education” is coming to an end.
  
  The responsible educator is worth their weight in gold.
  Unfortunately, the majority chose the field
  to lap up every benefit & milk it dry.
  When they retire with their fat pensions,
  they finagle into the college system, to teach a couple hours of night class a week
  & double-dip on every other Liberal party favor.
  
  I’m reminded of the restaurant owner, who offered “Free Wing” Friday.
  The teachers all would show up, chow down,
  wrap wings up in napkins to haul-
  NEVER buying a soda or drink to compensate !
  They wet their whistle with free water.
  
  The cheapskates were killing his business,
  forcing him to forego the Friday promo.
  Peeved, the teachers, went around town, badmouthing
  the kind owner & his business.
  
  For future “HOG” revenue-

I listened to the show yesterday and this spot caught my attention right away. Rush put out some excellent food for thought, and in the next few days to maybe a week, we’ll be able to see if he is correct. The moment 0bama starts talking about this, or more likely his mouth piece, Jay Carney, then we’ll know for certain.

  You are right about highest paid baby sitters, however, their reason for striking is not the 16% pay raise over 4 years they were offered, it has more to do with them not wanting to be graded on their teaching skills. They’re afraid that after them being graded, that they would loose 6,000 teachers or more for incompetence.
  After all it’s reported that 39% of 4th grade students can not read and 40% of all high school students don’t graduate. How’s that for failure to educate?
  Public teacher unions are parasites, the tax payer the host and the student a pawn. It’s no wonder why we’re falling behind in educating our children. This a generation that is somewhat lost.

Well, if President Obama does “negotiate” a settlement, for a dispute that has nothing to do with a national office or national prerogative, you almost have to hand it to Rush, yeah, the timing of that on the calendar makes you wonder how many other things are “fabricated” in the United States? Only after watching President Obama’s speech about “the oldest trick in the book” do you actually start to wonder about everything the Democrat Party does that might be preventable?

  ANGRY, I listen to Rush’s show almost daily. Have never heard him promote Romney as a conservative. In fact, in the early days of these campaigns his remarks regarding Romney, he was suggesting to be cautious. Rush has never yet that I know of promoted a Republican candidate during a primary, but falls in behind the eventual candidate in the main race. You might want to consider loosening that masking tape you have wrapped around your tin foil hat this morning. It’s obviously too tight.

  @ angry…I’m angry too. For to long, the progressives on both sides of the isle have played games with the constitution and pointed their collective finger at “the other party”. Both democrats and republicans are responsible for the current mess that we are in. I supported Ron Paul in the primary, and am disappointed that the lame stream media ignored him. I’m also disappointed that Glenn Beck did not support the only constitutionalist in the race (disappointed and surprised). But now that RP is out of the race, we MUST support Romney/Ryan, or it’s OVER. If Ocommie is reelected, this great experiment (democratic republic) is finished, game over, lights out.
