White House Repudiates U.S. Apology to Rioting Islamists in Cairo, Egypt

The White House is repudiating a statement from the U.S. embassy in Cairo that apologized for individuals who “hurt the religious feelings of Muslims.” The apology came after rioting Islamists in Egypt on Tuesday took down the American flag at the embassy and tore it apart after trying to burn it because they were upset about an anti-Muslim film being produced in America.

“The statement by Embassy Cairo was not cleared by Washington and does not reflect the views of the United States government,” a senior Obama administration official told Politico.

The U.S. embassy in Cairo put out the following statement early Tuesday:

“The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions.”

The Cairo embassy was bombarded with criticism for not defending free speech when responding to acts of violence. Later on Tuesday, an American was killed at the U.S. consulate in Libya by rioting Muslims upset over the previously mentioned anti-Islam film.

The Wall Street Journal reported that the film depicts the Muslim prophet Muhammed as a “womanizer, pedophile and fraud.”

Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney released a statement in response to the developments in Egypt and in Libya, saying it is “disgraceful” that the Obama administration’s initial response was to “sympathize” with the Muslim demonstrators.

“I’m outraged by the attacks on American diplomatic missions in Libya and Egypt and by the death of an American consulate worker in Benghazi. It’s disgraceful that the Obama administration’s first response was not to condemn attacks on our diplomatic missions, but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks,” Romney said in the statement.

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton took a balanced approach and condemned the mobs’ action while also criticizing the film and declaring the United States’ commitment to “religious tolerance.”

“Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet. The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. Our commitment to religious tolerance goes back to the very beginning of our nation. But let me be clear:  There is never any justification for violent acts of this kind,” Clinton said in a statement Tuesday.

      I share your loathing for the Ayatollah Obama; but, don’t kid yourself my friend.

      Geroge W. Bush started this ball rolling when his State Department sponsored the Alliance of Youth Movement in the aftermath of the 2008 elections. Oh yes, it was Bush’s drones who invited Google, Facebook, Pepsi, labor unions and dissident student groiups from around the world to NYC to learn how to use social networking media to gather crowds to topple middle eastern dictators.

      The spark came in Tunisia when that street vendor set himself ablaze; and, the rest is unfolding as we speak.

      You may also want to google George W. Bush’s editorial in the Wall Street Journal when he called on Americans to support the Arab Spring.

      The Bushs and the Clintons are all in favor of the “One World Government” espoused by George H.W. Bush, Soros and others in one of his speeches when he cited national borders as the cause of all the trouble in the world. Don’t take my word for it, google it all.

      Why do you think that YOUR tax money just bought 1.3 billion rounds of ammo?

      Nobody lives happily ever after in this fairy tale, my friend, unless, of course, you envision a world RULED by the likes of George Soros as utopia?

      ah those grateful Libyans. We led from behind and helped them get rid of Ghaddafi, they begged us to help them (while we turned a blind eye to Assad in Syria where the real game changer has been all along..this is why Iran is sending Quds forces there) and now they show their gratitude and good will to the people that helped them by killing their embassy staff. Let’s also remember..Obama made a point of reinstating an American embassy in Syria, then closing it again. Obama’s foreign policy is a trainwreck and his clumsiness is costing lives.
      Romney was right..you don’t apologise to these people because they don’t respect platitudes and weakness..they respect power. Why do you think Iran and Syria stayed out of the Iraq conflict when Saddam was calling for them to enter the battle? Two reasons…
      1. They were in shock that the Americans actually came in and did what they said they’d do.
      2. They saw opportunities in a Shia led Iraq.
      Obama’s biggest mistake was helping the Europeans with Lybia and not taking out Assad in Syria. Assad is the lynch pin to Iranian influence in Lebanon, Syria and Gaza. Take out Assad and replace him wtih a compliant player and Iran becomes weaker in the region. But Barry was too stupid to know that so he just led from behind as the Europeans told him to. Now we have Islamists calling the shots all over the middle east. Nice huh?

      The Egyptian government is now ran by the Muslim Brotherhood, thanks to us. Any moderate Muslims have fled the country as well as the Christians who used to live there. They have burned down all Christian churches and crucified Christians who were not luck enough to escape. With the help of our weapons and money they gained control of a country that was cooperating with the US to keep the Brotherhood from gaining control The Caliphate is taking shape and our government is helping to achieve it.       There are NO moderate muslims. NO matter how “friendly” or “peaceful” they appear, they will NOT step in and even attempt to stop the “extremists” from attacking we infidels. In fact, when the extremist pressure comes they rejoin “the fold” to save their own butts.

      Take the muslim doctrine of “taqiyya” which revolves around deceiving non-Muslims. It’s essence is that it is OK to do or say whatever is necessary while living among the enemy infidels. This explains the Times Square bomber that when asked about the oath he took in becoming an American citizen to protect the Constitution and the country answered simply, “I lied.”

      No muslim can be considered “moderate” when their very religion permits, even encourages lying and duplicity to “the enemy”. They can NOT be judged by either their words or their actions until the vest goes off. The only thing one can conclude from this is that ALL muslims support this action because when push comes to shove, they DO.

      Read Victor Davis Hanson’s articles, especially by the American Raymond Ibrahim. He decodes the real meanings behind what’s said in the middle east and how it’s crafted to hide the truth from the west while reaffirming it to the middle east.

      Islam does not have such complexity or depth of thought. The Medina “revelations” abrogate the older verses — clean slate — so there can be no dualism. There is of course a total lack of cohesion in the Qur’an, but it occurs only because Mohammad was never a religious man. Religion was merely a tool to him. That’s why his book is rife with plagiarism, capricious contradictions and carnality.

      “Moderate Muslim” is a misnomer. There are Muslims outside the Muslim world who have become somewhat secularized by their environment (that can all change in a nanosecond, though), but people in the Muslim world are not moderate — at least not by our standards. They ARE two-faced. I’ll grant you that.

IF Romney gets elected (and I pray he does at this point), he’s still going to have to show some real brass to handle this.       Okay, let’s see; the Democrat Reelection Campaign removes language in it’s platform indicating that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, then at Obama’s insistence,it’s reinserted, but the State Department on the next day REFUSES to confirm what the PRESIDENT says, and today the White House repudiates (that’s disagrees, for any liberal readers out there) a statement made a few hours ago from the State Department which, in essence, apologizes or justifies the attack ON IT’S OWN EMBASSY?
      I have a question. WHO THE HELL IS IN CHARGE OF MY COUNTRY? Hey Obama, Hillary works for YOU, and YOU work for US, so how’s about a phone call to State?

    I don’t want to hear from a White House spokesman or Hillary Clinton. I want Obama to come out and condemn these acts of aggression and murder. I want Obama to apologize for the apology that was given by the embassy staff.

    Just to be clear……….If the protestors shown are standing on top of a wall owned by the US Embassy, then why weren’t they mowed down with a machine gun as a stop gap until an airstrike could be delivered by the nearest carrier group?

    No wonder they don’t respect us. Establish a body count for every terrorist attack, make it too expensive for the Islamic world to mess with the US.

    Pretty much sums up everything I have read through my English version of the Koran! Guess the interpreters were just jack booted Republican Nazi islamaphobes that MADE me think it was a true interpretation? On the other hand, MAYBE its a PERFECT representation of the bandit womanizing pedophilic fraud?

      Read the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire. Mohammed has a large part in one of the books. The author addresses him without bias. He tells Mohammed’s story forthrightly and matter of factly. The tale of Mohammed is scarey. Read that and you will understand everything about the Muslim religion.
