Beck Reflects on 9/11 Terrorist Attacks and How It Changed America Forever

On Tuesday, the 11th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, Glenn Beck dedicated a portion of his evening broadcast to discussing all of the ways in which he has changed since that fateful day. While the country, indeed the world, was shaken to its core, Beck believes that Americans’ meddle was tested and that many answered the call by becoming better human beings.

“The images that we saw, I know none of us forget them,” Beck said, his voice cracking with emotion. “How could you?”

TheBlazeTV pioneer explained how his new multi-media network, the 9-12 Project, Restoring Courage in Israel and other positive feats are all a direct result of the man he became after 9/11.

Watch the poignant segment below:

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

I see the left as total cowards. They don’t have any trouble making the Republicans or people who believe differently in this country as “enemies” – however, when we’re attacked by these dogs, we have to be calm and give them the benefit of the doubt. If they blamed these out of control Muslim extremists who kill everything that moves – if they’re not worshiping at the altar of Mohammed – we’d be in better shape. The left should just pretend that the killers in the middle east are Republicans and we are set. Ridiculous.

Glenn Beck’s 911 legacy is still his 2005 statement that he hated the 911 victims families.

Hated. He said it and repeated it.

Good speech, Glenn. You said Mark Owen’s “No Easy Day” was “troubling.” I’m reading all of the one-star reviews on Amazon.com and a lot, if not most, are reviews from guys who are ex-military. Most of the people said “it was a light read” and almost all of them said this book was poorly written. The biggest complaint was Owen broke the military code of silence and that he comes off as egotistic. I think even Seal Team 6 is pissed at him.

On the other hand, the five-star reviews seem to say the opposite. A lot of readers said it brought them closure especially after hearing the BS version that Obama gave.

Has anyone read the book and, if so, what did you think?

Glenn Beck is right about many things but regarding the events of 9/11 he is dead wrong. Too many experts, Glenn not being one of them, have clearly identified major “holes” in the story we all were fed regarding the events of that awful day.

Scientists have clear evidence of the truth regarding explosives used in the buildings. It is impossible to have a building, which is not hit by any plane, demolished within hours of the Tower attacks – not possible. It takes days or weeks to set charges in a building scheduled for demolition. That comes from the experts and again, Glenn is not an expert in that field. All three buildings fell in on themselves. Impossible!

Professional engineers, professional pilots, firemen at the scene, and other key witnesses all were ignnored in the final reports regarding the events of 9/11.

The truth is that the Pentagon was hit by a cruise missile or similar. The signature of the damage has missile written all over it. No plane parts – no bodies except those from inside the Pentagon.

The truth is that Glenn Beck is far from an expert on this subject so I will go with the real experts – the engineers, scientists, professional pilots, firemen, and eye witnesses that know better.

There are simply too many unanswered questions and physical impossibilities surrounding the events of 9/11. We have not been told the truth and Glenn Beck can deny this forever and it will not change the “facts” of that horrible day.

@ (fake) marine1 – Semper fi my arse! I don’t believe you’re a Marine – you just claim the title here. You know NOTHING about fire to claim “It is impossible to have a building, which is not hit by any plane, demolished within hours of the Tower attacks – not possible.”

I SPOKE to a friend working at the Pentagon, just after it was hit. The claim there was no plane parts or plane is a LIE. My brother didn’t make it to work at Bldg 7, thus survived. I don’t believe your claim to military experience because of how you write, what you write, and you name yourself after Gaybama’s chopper. Furthermore, you make tin-foil hat wearers sound like Stephen Hawking, and your squawking “truther” propaganda at a time like this is disgusting.

It is actually a dual path…one path could lead us to tyranny but the other is leading us back to freedom, and yes it is BACK since we have been lead too far away from freedom. I just hope enough Americans are awakend to the truth that our country is in grave peril by the progressives and muslims…or “progruslims”.
The paths are ready to totally diverge and we better be on the RIGHT one. God Bless America

The coverage today implies that 9/11 is a distant memory for most or not a memory at all for some. The president failed again today on all fronts, just as he has on every other day of his presidency. His failures may start unraveling our society even before the election. He doesn’t know what to do. Lord help us… (don’t tell me he’s doing crap intentionally….he’s not that smart…but someone is)

They did win and have one of them in the White House from the way he is operating. They used all these bombings to tighten security on Americans more than those across the borders. They have started baning gun ownership and breaking the finances of this country. They are promoting Islam in this country and supressing Christianity. They are indoctrinating the youth in the school and allowing riots in the streets supporting unions who are supporting this Islamist in our White House. They are impeding justice for Americans and protecting criminals. They are even telling people what to say and not to say and what to eat. How many licks in the face with this Islamist ball bat is it going to take for those in Congress to ban together, and get Holder, Jarret, Pelosi, Reid and Obama out of our White House and into jail? What is it going to take for them to act? Are they stupidf?

I don’t think anyone with cognitive thought at the time, will ever forget where they were and what went through them as they watched what unfolded before their eyes on that day.

I’ll never forget how a handful of Congressmen stood at the steps of the Capitol to sing “God Bless America” or America the Beautiful” and the large number that could only mouth part of the words.

I’ll never forget how the Left quickly deteriorated from hard-time phoney patriots to “good-time” domestic enemies as the impact of the attacks wore off. And I’ll never forget the impact that the remnants of Battery Park had on me when I last visited a few months ago. I was there recently. Let me describe it to you from my perspective:

The towers are incomplete and will never have 110 operating floors like the Twin Towers did. As it stands, the viewing platform will be on the 104th floor. So Al-Qaeda wins.

The footprints of the Twin Towers are now two permanent holes in the ground lined with dark marble with a never-ending waterfall pouring in from all sides into an infinity hole in the center of each footprint. The ledge surrounding each square hole is etched in the names of victims; not a testament to our strength and ability to move forward, but a testament to the effectiveness of Al-Qaeda’s attack – it’s not unlike going to a grave.

The area is surrounded with incomplete construction, including the β€œtower” – a living tribute to consensus planning and ineffective leade

The gubbmint’s planning is right on schedule though. Use it against us for our own ‘safety’. TSA ( The suck asses ) anybody? …and so much more.

Ooh, ooh. Another quick tale from ‘Haina Valley’. I had a tiny nervous breakdown in May, and my BRAND NEW RUGER was ‘confiscated’? Borrowed? I’m not real sure. At any rate, I’m holdin’ up my end of the bargain, takin’ my meds (wheeeee) and seein my shrink (poor guy…he seems to be holdin’ up pretty well, though…), I’m no longer a defendant of any kind, not a probie, not on parole and this was my first and last offense of this nature. Now, the Magristrate ( John Hasay [from Shickshinny] was busted several years back for something or another, his home was searched, and a good amount of marijuana was found under his bed. He testified that somebody planted it there, or some other cockamamie excuse. They let him go (kinda) and he still serves on the bench today. As a matter of fact, I was down there the other day, and started to get the runaround, right up to the D.A.’s office. I was told I have to get a private attorney (for God knows how much?) to get my pistola back, after already spending THOUSANDS of DOLLARS already on fines, court costs, hospitals and doctors. What’s another $500? Haina?

Thanks WOODYEE. Here’s a little more; I was recently trying DESPERATELY to cash in my life insurance policy from John Hancock. That was supposed to be my burial money. I was given the royal runaround by Indian operators who insisted that the surrender form wasn’t notarized, when it was, IN FACT NOTARIZED by my local Notary, Ray Ceppa ( former Nanticoke Chief Of Police in better days…). I think, due to my previous ‘Haina Valley’ posts, I could not get a lawyer in my entire area to represent me in this open-and-shut matter. To top it all off, I even told the local ‘authorities’ that I’d take THE MONEY for my gun, as I have the original sales receipt and REGISTRATION FORM in my possession. The D.A.’s office still told me I needed to get a private attorney. Catch 22 jusitce. Deja vu all over again. …etc., etc., etc., ……………………………………………………………

@WOODYEE…Apparently my first attempt to respond to your stupid comments was deleted byThe Baze so I’ll tone it down a bit.

As for me being a Marine – not only was I a Marine but also an Army Officer later. I went to MCRD San Diego and then was assigned to H&S 2/1 but you probably don’t know what that means. Can you guess the Division? I was trained as a 2531 (MOS). I reached the rank of Corporal before being transferred to another duty station where I was promoted to Sergeant.

I was up for my “Rocker” a few days before leaving the Corps. I left because CMC would not give me enough incentive to stay in. I had high Pro’s and Con’s, among other things, and I wanted to stay in for a career.

I left the Corps, worked for a couple of years, went to college, and was commissioned in the U.S. Army. My Branch was Signal Corps.

As a two-service vet I resent the fact that you have probably never served a day in your life and can run around showing folks just how stupid you are.

You are, indeed, a follower in every sense of the word. You be;ieve whatever the government tells you I suspect. That’s fine. You keep on thinking that way and see where it gets you.

So, lead, follow, or get the hell out of the way as we Patriots have no time for you or your nonsense.

Semper Fidelis — To My fellow Marines and Patriots — Not you WOODYEE.
