‘Real News From The Blaze:’ Congress Back in Session…But Will the Fiscal Cliff Be Addressed?
This week credit rating agency Moody’s threatened to follow Standard & Poor’s and downgrade the United States’s credit rating unless something substantive was done about the looming fiscal cliff before 2013. With Congress back in session this week, POLITICO reports that a “Gang of Eight” is meeting to come to some compromise to set up a process that would force Congress to act to diminish the debt, but sadly, it appears that top leaders in Washington still seem more satisfied with pointing fingers rather than serious negotiations.
Veronique de Rugy of Reason Magazine joined “Real News From The Blaze” Wednesday to talk about the fiscal cliff, and what Moody’s would like to see from the U.S. Government that would prevent another downgrade. Also, where is the president in negotiations on this, and how will action (or inaction) on this issue effect the presidential election? Watch a clip below:
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

The entitlement programs, he social safety nets and the unions are not the problem. Beck and the right have their working class minions brainwashed to vote against their interests. The problem is the corporate tax loop holes and loop holes that Romney and others like him take advantage of. Its the class warfare that the rich have been waging against the workers since senile Reagan became president.

Our government is so comatose in their lack of accountability, that they think that the people they “serve” won’t find them in their hiding places when we have had enough. Truth be told, we are in massive debt because of their corruption and incompetence and over spending. We are not going to pay for what you’ve done, but you certainly will.

Posted on September 12, 2012 at 10:03pmNeither party, nor either presidential candidate has a real desire to fix the problem. Both parties are a no better than pimps giving their addicted crack whores a new fix. Obama just panders to the bottom feeders and Romney to the Wall Street banksters,
Cut military spending – the war hawks and military contractors cry the end of the world.
Cut Social Security and Medicare – Baby boomers from both parties cry foul and grandma is getting pushed over the cliff
Cut Medicaid or Welfare – the bottom feeders and their sugar daddy’s call everyone racists.
Raise taxes – you can confiscate the entire income of every man, woman and child in the country and not make a difference in the debt.
Lower taxes – Sure that may spur some economic growth but the demographics of our country are changing. Baby boomers are downsizing and young people have no money. We have built a house of cards with an economy based on consumption.
Warren Buffett/Berkshire Hathaway is a major stockholder of Moody’s. Does anyone really think they will lower the US debt rating? Not, unless the fix is in so that Warren, Soros and the likes of these criminals can bet against the US and make billions.
If we go on past outcomes, the Republicans will once again capitulate and give in to the Democrats. This is just one more big dog and pony show. Unfortunately it will be the taxpayer picking up the **** left behind.

Posted on September 12, 2012 at 9:50pmThis Congress has done… absolutely nothing. They have not addressed the spending, the scandals, the deficit, the corruption, the wars, the taxes, the regulations, the Czars – not even defunding NPR or getting rid of the worthless eco-lightbulbs we’re forced by the government to buy.
All we got in 2010 was a slower path to ruin over a quicker one. I have sent them absolutely nothing for their reelections. Not one dime until I see the Right grow a spine and start really fighting for… SOMETHING.
Ask yourself, when is the last time you REALLY saw Right wing representatives come out swinging for something serious? When was the last time you saw them bring things to a standstill until they got what they wanted? When is the last time you saw them do anything other than silly symbolic votes and then off to the golf course while they blame all their inactivity on Obama blocking them? They are there for a reason – they are CONGRESS. Now it’s time to start acting like it. Demand US drilling, a closed border with Mexico, end the wars, cut every single program, cut the spending, cut the taxes, and start scaling back the abortion holocaust. It’s time for them to show us they can be relied on.

Hello idiots. Sure the Embassy issued this before the violance but they reissued it after as well on twitter. I know I saw it multiple post they eventually deleted. The MSM is lying. This was False News today not Real in any sense. They also ignored that Hillary said the same thing and Obama himself is still condemning free speech if it offends Islam. That is the only free speech is protected. It offends someone.
They then dumped all over Romney. A hate Romney night based on a false narrative by Concern Trolls in the MSM. They stunk tonight.

To answer your question….
I have listened to Glenn Beck since 2004. Glenn woke me up from my George Bush republicanism stupor and i will forever be thankful. I have noticed a big change in Glenn over the last couple years and i suspect that is purely because of this presidential election. Glenn used to talk about how both parties suck but now he hardly ever mentions it.
Anyways, i take it upon myself to come around here to try to remind people that this republican party is rotten from the inside and return them to solid Constitutional principles. In my opinion, Mitt Romney is completely contrary to those principles (see link above). I have friends, colleagues, and random people that i meet – but this is where i can come and see what the ‘pulse’ of the republican party is up to. I have been greatly disappointed by the posters around here because Glenn has put too much work into this thing for people to be so duped by the republican party machine.

Posted on September 13, 2012 at 12:05am@soy, I’m not even concerned about the fiscal cliff. We have to end the federal reserve act of 1913. It’s the root cause of our debt. Until we have monetary reform; The USA will always be at war and in debt. Honest money is the solution to unemployment.
Let the treasury print it’s own interest free money.
