Clinton Blasts Anti-Islam Vid Blamed for Mideast Unrest: ‘Disgusting and Reprehensible’

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Thursday sharply condemned the anti-Islam video blamed at least in part for sparking deadly protests against American missions in the Arab world as “disgusting and reprehensible,” but said there was no justification for the violence.

“To us, to me personally, this video is disgusting and reprehensible. It appears to have a deeply cynical purpose: to denigrate a great religion and to provoke rage,” Clinton said. “But as I said yesterday there is no justification, none at all, for responding to this video with violence.”

Clinton said the U.S. government “had absolutely nothing to do with this video” and absolutely rejects it content and message. Still, she said the U.S. has a “long tradition of free expression” and “we do not stop individual citizens from expressing their views, no matter how distasteful they may be.”

“There should be no debate about the simple proposition that violence in response to speech is not acceptable,” Clinton said. “Violence we believe has no place in religion and is no way to honor religion.”

Can someone explain to me why our embassy’s are not guarded by our troops and why we cannot just defend our embassy’s any longer? I just don’t understand it. And another thing….Hillary is discusted and calls acts “reprhensible” but never once condemned her husband for his lies and actions while in the White House….still not understanding…I guess she condones Slick Willies’ actions…..What’s the two subjects have in common?…The pot calling the kettle black.

  They are reporting that the State Department would not allow the Embassy Marines to have live ammunition. I knew an Embassy Marine when I was in the Navy. These guys are pretty stinking tough. The one I knew went annually to get maced and pepper-sprayed to build their tolerance to it. They would have killed these protesters quickly if they were allowed to.

  The same thing happened during the U.S.S. Cole bombing. Clinton did not allow the ship’s watchmen have live ammo while in port so as to not offend the locals.

Hillary is trying to cover her a$$ – rolling out the blame on something, anything – INSTEAD of the obama regime’s purposeful and destructive policies. Blame the movie, blame the 1st Amendment, blame the weather, blame the wealthy, blame the “greedy” small businessman, blame Bush, blame talk radio, blame, blame, blame…

hillary’s and hussein obama’s policies are well aimed at destroying America domestically as well as internationally AND their response is predictable – blame something, anything but their policies.

What team obama supports and implements doesn’t fix “stuff” – but as long as they can deflect blame they believe it will keep the “Moron Vote” in their favor.

Perhaps Hillary should explain why her husband did little to nothing about Bin Laden during his presidency, instead of critisizing this stupid little youtube video which was used to try to cover up the fact that the embassy attacks were PLANNED ATTACKS.

1) The first bombing of the World Trade Center in 1993

2) The bombing of the Khobar Towers in 1996

3) The bombing of the embassy in Nairobi, Kenya in 1998

4) The bombing of our embassy in Tanzania in 1998

5) The bomb attack against the USS Cole in 2000

President Clinton and his national security team ignored several opportunities to capture Osama bin Laden and his terrorist associates, including one as late as last year. (2000)

I know because I negotiated more than one of the opportunities.

Clinton’s failure to grasp the opportunity to unravel increasingly organized extremists, coupled with Berger’s assessments of their potential to directly threaten the U.S., represents one of the most serious foreign policy failures in American history.

Sure Hillary, it’s the movie’s fault and you’re sorry they had their little feelings hurt and you know deep down that they’ll love us if we are nice. This is obviously what you wanted ! Anyone with half a brain could see this coming. We had a tough guy dictator in Egypt and a despot in Libya that had finally realized that working with us was better not, at least we knew what we were dealing with and they kept the region stable. Your administration’s actions helped destabilize the Middle East.

I saw this trailer and one of the first things that came to mind was Woody Allen’s “What’s Up Tiger Lilly.” For those who might not remember, Allen took a Japanese secret agent film and completely redubbed it. It made for hilarious comedy. Only a narrowmined bunch of dimwits would use this
pathetic excuse for a movie as a reason to commit murder. But then again, consider the the target audience and the cerebral Ms. Clinton.

Gotta love that thing that stops the flooding of low lands next to rivers and oceans. It’s supposed to stand up for what people erected it against. But I guess since this one is a loose female it just lets everything in without regard to purpose or intent. “A Great Religion!” This is the heart of the problem. It’s time to denounce Islam. Not everyone that worships through Islam is bad. But the religion is bad. It’s like having a billion Satan worshippers running around. The true history of Islam should be exposed. The hate and violence should be exposed. Some idiot is going to say Christianity is violent. Not! Groups that called themselves Christians have been violent…centuries ago. But the actual religion and teachings are not violent. That’s not the case with Islam. The religion itself is violent and perverted. Good people that worship through Islam should renounce their religion, and we need to stop calling Islam a religion of peace and call it what it is, an evil religion of hate and violence. “There is one God, Allah, and Mohammed is his prophet.” Believe, worship, or be subjugated and die. My first reaction was carpet bombing. But I spent time thinking about it, and while that is still an option what we need to do now is pull out. Pull out our troops, our embassies, our businesses, and most of all our money. NO MORE SUPPORT FOR COUNTRIES THAT HATE US! Get out of the way and let them kill each other. We supported the Afghans against Russia. We supported the Muslims in the Balkans. We supported the Arab Spring all over the Middle East. And everytime we’ve been bitten. It’s insane to keep doing the same thing. By the way, the movie was pretty funny and probably close to true.

  Thanks. I’ll pay close attention to this site. Unfortunately some people don’t want the truth. I’ve been in Saudi, Oman, Jordan, Egypt, and Turkey. I’ve flown combat missions over Iraq, and Afghanistan. I’ve studied the Muslim philosophy somewhat, and seen the results of Islam in practice. But my liberal L.A. brother tells me I can’t denegrate an entire, ancient, and good religion. “One of the world’s oldest religions.” YES I CAN! Satan is alive and well and living somewhere in the Middle East. Mohammed was a murdering thug, perverted, possibly insane warlord, that convinced his followers to kill in the name of Allah. You’ld be better off worshipping Cheech and Chong. Pot heads aren’t violent.
