Google Will Not Remove Anti Muslim Video From YouTube Despite White House Request for Review

Google ruled on the side of free speech on Friday, announcing it will not remove a controversial anti-Muslim video from YouTube despite being pressured by the Obama administration to review the clip and see if it violates the site’s terms of service.

“We work hard to create a community everyone can enjoy and which also enables people to express different opinions,” a YouTube spokeswoman said in a statement. “This can be a challenge because what’s OK in one country can be offensive elsewhere. This video — which is widely available on the Web — is clearly within our guidelines and so will stay on YouTube.”

The statement continued: “However, we’ve restricted access to it in countries where it is illegal such as India and Indonesia, as well as in Libya and Egypt given the very sensitive situations in these two countries.”

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney confirmed to Politico in an email that the White House reached out to Google about the video on Tuesday.

“The White House asked YouTube to review the video to see if it was in compliance with their terms of use,” Carney wrote.

The clip in question contains scenes from a low-budget film called “Innocence of Muslims.” The film depicts the Muslim prophet Muhammad as a moronic adulterer who approves of sexually abusing children, among other things.

Crowds allegedly angry the YouTube clip have assaulted U.S. embassies across the Middle East. However, others have suggested that radical Islamists are merely using the controversial film as cover to carry out attacks and violent protests.

Bydoes anyone remember the film, the passion of christ? Zero murders over that. They have arrested the film maker on trumped up charges…. now we know what obama ment. By the term legality of art…and not who is our allie… but whom we are the allie of.

Even though I do not like attacks on other faiths, I am glad that Google is standing up for freedom of speech. There is no reason why this video should be taken down while videos that attack other faiths are allowed to remain. Shame on the WH for asking Google to remove it.

If true, why would a video cause muslims to act like animals??? It’s not like they don’t already do it without videos or cartoons. Why are these ‘strong men’ so sensitive? Why do these strong men treat their women so horribly? Why do they pick young, easy targets to put vests on themselves and cause tragedy? Who was the last elder muslim that did this to himself for his cause? The bottom line is that these muslims are not men; they are children with daddy issues that are full of hatred. They can’t live and let live. They have to feel that they control everything around them. Their sensitivity to anything they don’t want to hear is pathetic. Why should Christians and Jews have to cowtow to them for any reason? Political Correctness? It’s all a load of crap. If it’s acceptable to the public that they cause violence because their leader has been defamed, thank God that Christians and Jews are much bigger men than them. They are truly pathetifc as men and deserve what they believe others should get for not following them or being under their idealism. They are jokes of men who whine and cry for the silliest of reasons. I suggest that they man up and live for a higher purpose like building up those around them; especially women. Because that doesn’t seem to work, they should understand that WE Americans are not going to take their lame weakness; we will stand up to them and all their swords and yelling. You know what offends me? Anyone see the utube video of the beheading by a gang of muslim extremists of that christian? The one where they sliced and sliced like a loaf of bread, while he was bound? Or the death sentence, of that pastor in iran. Or three christian kids on a hike, stepping across an unmarked border, held for months.

Corporations of global influence such as Google, would do well to ignore demands from the state.
Millions of individuals demands of the global marketplace should be heeded.

The only reason that they are resisting is because they are worried that we may protest the thousands of negative propaganda films that insult every decent religion on this earth, and that googly would have a more difficult time pushing their negative propaganda against us.
