Obama’s Promises Vs. Obama’s Actions: The Latest Video from ‘WordsMatter2012′

Last week, TheBlaze posted a story with a long-form video showing the vast differences between certain campaign promises and statements by Barack Obama and the actions he has taken since becoming president. The video was called “Words Matter” and it was reported to be the first political video from an amateur video editor who wished to remain nameless online (his identity was confirmed by TheBlaze).

Since that story ran, the video generated significant traffic with over 400,000 views of the original YouTube posting. It also brought to our attention that the “Words Matter” concept was not exactly a new idea. In fact, TheBlaze was contacted by WordsMatter2012, a DC-based organization that originated the idea for these types of video comparisons, back in March of this year.

At the helm of WordsMatter2012 is executive director, Jennifer Gratz. If Ms. Gratz’s name sounds familiar to you, she is no stranger to the national political scene. At the young age of 19, Jennifer sued the University of Michigan over racial preferences commonly referred to as “Affirmative Action.” Her case went all the way to the Supreme Court and she was successful. Since that victory, Jennifer Gratz has been politically active, working to help others get ballot initiatives in place to challenge Affirmative Action in states all across the country.

Ms. Gratz told TheBlaze that her work with WordsMatter2012 stems from the questions that she would like answered about Barack Obama:

“Has the President lived up to our expectations?”

“Has he led the country to move beyond racial divisions?”

“Has he lived up to the promise that we are not a white America or a black America, but the United States of America?”

WordsMatter2012 describes themselves as “a research project” with a very specific mission:

Words Matter 2012 is a project devoted to giving voters a non-partisan and objective insight into what was promised…and what was delivered. From Guantanamo Bay to Wall Street, from the economy to fairness in government – Can we trust what our elected leaders tell us? Who is right? What do we believe? Do words still matter?

The first video posted by WordsMatter2012 hit the internet just six months ago:

Following the success of that “trailer,” WordsMatter2012 has posted a new video each week. These clips feature President Obama in his own words, and each compares Mr. Obama’s words from the past to his words and actions today.

The most popular of the weekly clips was the one released just last week called, “Disappointed.” This 2:25 video shows some of Obama’s most loyal supporters are not quite pleased with the president’s lack of progress.

The latest video from WordsMatter2012 was sent to TheBlaze yesterday. This one is called “Obama: A Post-Racial President?” And it asked the question:

Candidate Obama promised to lead the country beyond racial divisions. Has he kept this commitment, or descended into the racial politics of the past?

Jennifer Gratz is a racist. She wants to keep negros in chains. Affirmative action is necessary because only a very small percentage of negros with some white genes could succeed without preferential treatment.

  I’m not sure what Jennifer Gratz has to do with the conversation. She was a plaintiff in a lawsuit that contended that the University of Michigan had unfairly turned her down because of an affirmative action “points” system. According to UM’s scoring system, the achievement of a perfect SAT score (!!) was worth 12 points, while the accident of being born black was worth 20. Gee, that sounds fair.

Did these folks forget Obama and wife are lawyers? Remember Bill & Hillery Clinton. With the Clintons we had Jennifer Gate, Vince Gate, Travel Gate, White Water Gate, Monica Gate and M_aster Bate Gate. The only thing that happened to Bill was he lost his Lawyers license. I’m afraid that one day we will have Obama’s Deal Gate, Birth Certificate Gate, Failed College Grades Gate, Muslim Religion Gate and it will probably be longer that the Clintons Gates.

No one at least 12 years old with a IQ over 60 needs a video to see what Oahma has done to destroy almost 225 years of decent presidential tradition in this country. He does not deserve even consideration for a second term. What scares most of us, is who will be counting our votes, the Democrats will stop at nothing to keep their power over all of us. Obama is a complete disgrace for America and he must be removed for any possible hope of keeping our republic or the quality of life we have always had. Not only is he disliked by many smart Americans, he is also hated world wide!

  He can’t leave the District of Corruption fast enough for me. However, we cannot just count on our individual votes. Go to the Republican Committee office in your area and offer to take someone without transportation to the polls. Put together a team to monitor polling places in heavy Democratic districts. Play words matter videos within ear shot of voters. This is an election that will require us to go above and beyond just filling in a box or pulling a lever.

We cannot allow this embarrising figure of America to hold any political seat again. I didn’t vote for the POS but I am ashamed that he represents me and all other Americans. I think a mental evaluation should be called for and the 25th ammendment be called for. Hillary should have not cleaned up her opinion and just opened up and said Flock you obama you lieing clock soaker.

  Watched a political commercial moments ago with Bill Clinton stumping for obama and I expected him to break out laughing any moment for the idiocy of him supporting obama. His face told he was lying.

Well, he has kept one proise. He has changed this country as I once knew it. He, the democratic party and most of the republican party establishment has this formally great country on her knees. They have successfully dumbed down 50% of our population through the teachers unions. so
cosequently it is only normal to be on welfare, foodstamps. Being lazy and let big brother support them using hard working americans tax dollars. No pride, no self esteem, just users and takers and complaing about wanting more from the rich. While the middle class is going down tubes.

  What a hack site PolitiFact.com is………..the worst. Everything is cherry picked. I follow things pretty closely, and I have NEVER some of the “pants on fire” statements that the opponents of Obama have allegedly spoken or written. NEVER! Some of them are soooooo outrageous, they would been played over and over and over and over and over again.
  
  For example, I did a search on Joe Arpaio thinking that the site would somehow reference the Obama forged birth certificate and Selective Service app. To my amazement, there was nothing. Again, what a hack website.
