‘Real News From The Blaze:’ Free Speech and Violence in Middle East

As anti-American protests and violence continue to spread in the Middle East, many have continued to be peg the protests–aside from those in Libya–mainly as a result of outrage over the low-budget film “The Innocence of Muslims.” Google has blocked access to the film on YouTube in both Egypt and Libya, and Egypt has asked the U.S. to prosecute the filmmaker responsible; now identified by the feds as a LA-based Coptic Christian with a checkered past. An MSNBC panel even debated calling for the prosecution of Pastor Terry Jones,Β who was loosely involved with screening the film.

While the film was indeed offensive to many, these proclamations and debates on prosecuting Americans filmakers have drawn criticism from many who say such action would conflict with our belief in the freedom of speech. Furthermore, the assumption that this video solely caused the widespread, and appearing to many to be coordinated, anti-American protests across the Middle East has drawn criticism. Comments today by White House Press Secretary Jay Carney, that these attacks were in reaction to the video not a response to U.S. policy or the eleventh anniversary of 9/11, were particularly lambasted by conservatives and media commentators.

On “Real News From The Blaze” Friday the panel discussed whether many Americans are forgetting our freedom of speech when rushing to find retribution or assign blame for these attacks:

In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Find out more HERE.

Glenn, why is it that all the violence in the Muslim countries is being blamed on a film instead of the “bumper sticker” that Joe Biden called for in his speech to the auto workers a week and a half ago that read, “Osama bin Laden is dead, GM is alive”? Why don’t we see the bumper sticker yet? Could it be a vice-president’s statement may carry more clout than a film? Pull up his speech and check it out. The demonstrators were said to have been shouting “we are many Osama’s, President Obama.”

Where are the ‘peace-loving’ muslim clerics in this country —-why are they not speaking out against this insanity over a goofy film. This country does have free speech in voice, writing, and media—- Muslims need to get over it— better still pray about it and try to be a good US citizen. Christianity has had to put up (sometimes with their life) this so called religion Muslim. May God continue to bless the USA and the state of Israel.

We are tired of carrying fence sitters. People like that are who allowed Obama to get in and not stand behind those who saw through him. Yes, find you a fence to sit on, but do not get in our way. Remember we are tired of carrying you, so you better be ready to carry you and yours.

God allowed the ones to be brought here who had a heart to be inclined to be saved, even if they did come by slave ships. They got here. The rest of them came on their own. They came to stay the way they are and use the “gullible” Americans to scam, con, beg, borrow or steal their way into power and take what God gave to His people, White, Black, or otherwise, but His people. God allowed this land to be united by brilliant men Under Him. The rest who hate God’s America, hate Him. They will be dealt with.

Now you know why God separated the cultures. We cannot get along because we do not think alike, especially the ones separated by the waters. It is trouble. They got away from God since the Garden of Eden and made their own way until they, being without God, have become full of hate and know nothing, nor do they want to of good and decency to any degree. We need to stay away and keep them out of our country.

Egypt can kiss American butts. ( I am trying to be nicer here.) It is not a good time to inflame, but they do a lot worse than we do. Most of us hate all of them for they are evil, lying cowards who deserve hell. These sorry and nasty film makers have no respect for Christianity either, but we do not burn down things and kill people over it. God does not need our help to act like a bunch of rabid dogs to please him. God did not leave people as punishers of other people except those who have to go to jail for harming others and abusing their life, liberty and pursuit of happiness in one way or the other. These are people who crave to hate and kill like they are addicted to it. When they have no foreigners to hurt, they do this to their own families and neighbors. They have been like that from the beginning of time.

I saw one picture of them burning Obama in effigy. I believe it was on here. I have not seen it since that first day. These cowards are blaming this on the “video” that was probably just too stupid of an excuse to act like they are. They do all kinds of things to the Christians here and other countries. That was a done deal, a planned deal to coincide with 9-11 and the Administration are just to cowardly to admit they were not ready and should have been. I despise lying cowards. They cause more trouble than out and out bank robbers.

Food for thought. Why not take the far right, bigoted, my way or no way, radicals on both sides of this beautiful marble suspendend in the universe, to a sandy place that will soak up a lot of blood and let them hate themselves to death. Then the rest of us can live in peace and harmony with the true nature of things. Whatever that is.

A fence sitt is worse than an impassioned person. A fence sitter is a coward who will not commit. You take yourself to some sandy beach, where you will not have to solve problems, for as the saying goes; if you are not part of the solution, then you are part of the problem.

It will be the American Way. No far right is operating in this country that I can see. If so they are being very quiet about it. The “right” is not the problem.

Oh dear, the poor President seems to be caught in a dilemma of his own making. First he goes on the “Apology” tour saying how much he admires Islam and all the great contributions (?) it has made to the world. Then he hits the re-election trail in the US with the theme “I saved GM and KILLED BIN LADEN”, along with the VP trumpeting the same line (in between gaffes).

Uh, in case he hasn’t noticed it, in between golf games and vacations, bin Laden is somewhat of a folk-hero among Muslims and they didn’t take kindly to his being killed.

Mr. President, maybe you can get by with playing both sides of the street in Chicago-style politics, but that ploy doesn’t work as a foreign policy, especially where Muslims are involved. Now they’re burning you in effigy and calling for your demise in the Middle East. At the same time, thanks to the “2016″ film among other things (like unemployment and rising gas and food costs), a lot of unhappy people are finding out who you really are and are planning to NOT vote for you. Ouch, all that rejection when all you really want is for eveyone to love and admire you.

Gee, it must really s uck to be you about now.

6 If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, β€œLet us go and worship other gods” (gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, 7 gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), 8 do not yield to them or listen to them. Show them no pity. Do not spare them or shield them. 9 You must certainly put them to death. Your hand must be the first in putting them to death, and then the hands of all the people. 10 Stone them to death, because they tried to turn you away from the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out

Free speech only applies to the MSM, and then only in the glorification of King Barry. I have seen the video in question. It is a complete piece of crap. Poorly constructed, badly written and directed, in essence, total garbage. However…it is the right of the individual who produced that turd to be able to speak his mind. For this administration to try to blame their foreign policy disaster on some borderline retarded individual is negligent. It does’nt have anything to do with Biden running around spouting off **** like “Osama is dead, and GM is alive!” This childish, no backbone administration owns this fiasco completely. Wake up. They hate us because we are alive. Period. It goes no deeper than that. Throughout his entire term Obama has shown nothing but weakness and incompetence and now the check has come due. Don”t really know that we can afford him till Nov. Might be time for the Military to step in and act as interim Government until the Democrats can pick an actual American to run against Romney. And no trolls, that wasnt a “birther” comment. I dont care if he was born on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial to Betsy Ross and Ben Franklin, he has proved that his loyalties are not to this country. Obama is an enemy of the state, and should be treated as such.

Here’s a quote from the supreme right wingnut. Name the author. A religion that preaches love teaches this.
We should invade their countries, kill their leaders and convert them to Christianity. We weren’t punctilious about locating and punishing only Hitler and his top officers. We carpet-bombed German cities; we killed civilians. That’s war. And this is war. (Can’t we rise up and fight about something other that religion?) I wish Ben Franklin could see this.) http://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/authors/a/ann_coulter.html#ZxhhMiVvVrfD5WBr.99

Put in neo-con language: Why should my atheism pay for your religious holy war.
We need to build a colloseum and put all the fundamental christians, muslims and jews in it. No rules, fight to the death and when the last person emerges victorious, we release the lions.

Don’t that just pizz them off? They have nothing that will last, for they are at best inconsistent. God put the waters between us to slow them down. They have come here and ate at our tables, accepted our halp and killed us. These are evil, and as I have said before. They never factored in God. He is on the job.
